Actually, he was getting booed because he swore. While riding the horse, Miles says "yippee ki-yay mother-", and since Spider-Man doesn't usually do that (and because this is a film for kids), all Spider-People, including their villains, started booing loudly at him.

What I hate about this movie is "Your father dying is a canon event" But also "You were never meant to be Spiderman" So if hes not supposed to be spiderman, why would the canon event apply to him.
I think it’s because he became Spider-Man that the canon event applies to him. If he didn’t get bit by the spider, then another miles would’ve had that event happen to them.

Moreover, the other Spideys are chasing him based on orders, without a clear motive. miles on the other hand is fighting tooth and nail to save his dad, a far better motivator than the orders of one grumpy arachnid (Miguel). For him, this is a matter of life-and-death, for the others, it's probably not even as serious as a regular tuesday catching some B-lister.

It’s kinda true though. Only the spideys he hits gets a sense of what’s about to happen whereas Miles will be able to sense all attempts to grab him.

the fact that he was able to evade an entire tower of spider-people/animals/objects WHILE also dodging things integrated with the tower and almost using them to his advantage basically on his own is just a really great representation of just how much potential miles has

Frankly Miles was moving so quickly and they where all so tunnel visioned at this point that even smarts are not going to help you. When you tunnel visions is difficult to see out side of it. Also Miguel doesn't exactly help the situation as his properly the most tunnel visioned of all of them.

There's a game called All The Suits Have Gone Mad with a really chaotic chase scene that feels somewhat like this lol. (Albeit more secluded and claustrophobic though as its in a dystopian office setting)

I like when Peter says "Like you happened" to Miles even though Miguel said he wasn't supposed to be Spider-Man, Pete is saying even if he wasn't, he represents everything a Spider-Man should be courageous, self sacrificing and most of all, taking a leap of faith. I think deep down Peter's even happy Miles is rebelling against Miguel reminding him to do the right thing.

Looking back this was probably the greatest scene in the movie in terms of art, style, pacing, and animation. And the lil references to comics and other spiders here and there 👌🏾

I love the fact that Miguel, aka a Spiderman who knows that most spidermen are Peter Parker, made every spiderman stop what they were doing and told them to stop spiderman. Then he clarifies that he meant Miles as if everyone should have just automatically known who he was talking about. Miles is the truest spiderman.

These movies are such an awesome showcase of animation but I have to admit that sometimes there does tend to be just that bit TOO much going on. It’s so dense and busy I feel like all my eyes can do is just skim the action rather than take it in.
Thays what multiple rewatches are for, I saw so much new stuff just now and this is the third time I've seen this setpeice.
I feel like that is disregarding drama films like Wes Anderson's for how many small details he could fit in a single frame. Just as you can read again a well written paragraph to understand it better, you can rewatch a scene or a movie as a whole. Movies that let you find new details every rewatch are hard to come by.
I do agree personally. I liked the first one better because it had amazing animation but it didn't over do it. , this one, especially in Gwen's world, has way to much flare that I can't tell where they are at times.

However, if he saves his dad, then something called a “canon event” will be disrupted, which may lead to destruction of the universe. Miguel (who’s the leader of the Spider People) naturally wants to stop this from happening, which is why he’s ordering all the Spider People to catch Miles.

This is what happens when you grab a bunch of people from different universes who, unfortunately, also tend to work alone more often than not. Seriously, they can at least swing over the guy doing that (2:01) or jump across but are so caught up in trying to get Miles they just go “Yeah let’s ALL walk over ONE of the spider people!”

The only thing I hated about this movie was where they ended it. Like. COME ON! I NEED MOAR! There’s cliffhanger and then there’s CLIFFHANGER.
I’m not even trying to be funny but I’m an OG Spider-Man 2002 fanatic and that’s definitely my childhood…but I’m shocked to admit that this movie is the best Spiderman movie so far(live action and animated).
