I love it! It's always interesting to watch people listening to BTS for the first time and his comments made the video even more enjoyable (I never thought of ON as a song with different acts but when he said it I couldn't agree more, it is like different acts). Be careful Jordan, most of us just wanted to know their names.

I was at a BTS store in my city Singapore called "BTS Space". They have a big screen showing BTS videos. When I stepped in, ON KM was playing. And watching it were a mature couple, male and female. They were watching in awe, eyes transfixed on the screen. Its pretty obvious they have never seen that MV before and not ARMYs. But they seemed blown away. Hope they will check out more BTS 🙏

Oh, when ARMY teachers show BTS to students, it's like recruitment time 😄. I showed BST and DAECHWITA to my literature class. We had a lot of fun decoding, appreciating the imagery, symbolism, and lyricism of those. Made some of them ARMYs. Great job Andrew.

You mentioned that they were not breathy at the end of the performance, fun fact. As trainees, they would run on a treadmill and sing to build up their stamina. They never lipsync. Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole. Hope to see you back.You will get sucked in.

@@missJJ_onYT but it's true tho they don't lipsync maybe they have done it for 2/3 times but that's about it even one time Jimin was sick but he still did not lipsync and people made fun of his vocals cause his voice was breaking a lot even in their early days korean netizens used to praise them for always singing live.
I would agree in so far, that they sometimes use a background track when the dancing doesn't allow singing or they do adlibs in their own solo songs. But they usually don't move their lips in those parts, so it's no lip syncing. There are some music shows that look like playback, but I think that wasn't their choice and the members are rather bad at lip syncing. Wasn't there a production sheet from an award show or something where everyone else was listed as full or partial playback, only BTS and Mamamoo were real live performers?
@@mybiasisot7779 yes thats true mamamoo and bts performa live more than other 3rd gen groups and 4gen groups these days just lipsync most of the time. there are several videos proving this.
You and Jordan have great chemistry. Your time spent teaching him must have been fun! By the way, both my Nieces also went to UCLA (although the rest of the family are CAL Berkeley alumni's. Go Bears! Haha!) Great insights and reactions. Hopefully you would have Jordan back once in a while to continue to do some reactions with you. You should have him watch the On Documentary. (Maybe he might know a few of the people in it from UCLA). Can't wait to see your next video.

Fake Love was my gateway into the rabbit hole and I fell fast and deep.😅I binge-watched for days - and nights - and also wish I could go back to relive that 'oh wow!' feeling and discovering all their talents and wonderful personalities. One of the reasons why I enjoy watching others experience this. Loved this reaction even more because of Andrew's insights and ARMY enthusiasm.🥰Good choices, too! fake love is one of the most poetic songs i've ever seen written. the writing style and word choices, fantastic. on the surface, we automatically think this fake love is more a disappointment/complaint/blame towards someone else. many of us could've had experiences of being "loved" insincerely. and there are plenty of songs written about that. however, the genius of fake love by bts is that it's actually directed towards one's self. the general message of the song is questioning how much we try to pretend to be someone we're not so that we fit the standard of another and for them to end up loving/liking us. hence, the love we receive ends up being unreal because we lost ourselves in the process of acquiring it. it's a shout out to us that if we want to be genuinely loved, we must show our true selves... to understand our own selves...before we experience and receive genuine love. thanks, andrew and jordan! i wish to see more reactions from you both. 💜

Everytime someone appreciates BTS for their music and art, I can't help but feel proud. They work so hard, so every acknowledgement feels like BTS is one step closer to the respect and awe they deserve.
Haven't commented in a while but wanted to tell you as a professor how much I enjoyed this. I was also in high school band, jazz, and orchestra. Started as a music major but went in a different direction. Anyhoo this was a lot of fun. 😎💜😁

Definately please bring him back! He has such good energy. He's smart, articulate, funny, respectful, insightful, open and has great chemistry with you. He is 100% awesome. Fun fact and you probably already know this... The girl that the camera is focusing on at the beginning of ON is the choreographer and she was about 19 years old when she did this. Plus she's also did Dionysus. She originally competed in World of Dance with THE LAB which they won. In ON, it's THE LAB dance crew who are the back up dancers.

I know! I was surprised at the sound quality on Fake Love as well, but at least the awesome performance made up for it a little 😊

"I just want to know their names" was how my journey started 3 years ago. I can now identify each of them by their right ear. Welcome to the fandom and be prepared, although there's really nothing can prepare you for the epic adventure you're about to embark on! And as J-Hope says, liking BTS will be the best decision you ever made.

oh that was nice, it's fun to see new people be "shooked" by bts lol just an fyi, fake love is more about trying to change yourself and concealing your true self to try to fit in a relationship! Their songs can be interpreted in numerous ways and they always encourage fans and listeners to draw our own conclusions beyond their original intention behind a piece. For Fake Love, seeing how it’s part of Tear, it talks about how the person in the relationship is beginning to realise how they’ve changed themselves to fit what (they believe) their partner wants, effectively erasing themselves and putting up a façade just to keep the relationship alive. They realise how a love based on lies is fake and how both of them created something that doesn’t actually exists. In the end it ties in with the series in that not loving oneself leads people to be willing to change themselves at their core if it means people will love them, because they believe themselves to be unlovable as they are or believe they have to be a certain way to be loved.

Jordan is welcome back anytime. There isn't a bad video of ON, I love watching Jordan get more into the song as it played. And Andrew looking so proud sharing!! Their award show performances are next level. The MMA and MAMAs put our award show performances to shame. You need to react to more of them. Caitlin will love it also. They do Dionysyus (sp?) one year. So good. The other thing that Fake Love is about is pretending to be something or someone you aren't to keep the person with you. When you look in the mirror you don't see yourself anymore, you see the mask you wear instead.
The amazing thing is that this is an award show and it looks like a concert! They go for all every time

Fun fact: my son's high school marching band in Texas plays BTS Mic drop as one of their show tunes during football games. You have no idea how much fun I had when he was learning Mic Drop on the French horn.

"Fake Love" actually is about how a person changes who they really are to fit into their partner's idea of how they should be. You don't want to be seen as weak or upset or vulnerable to that person, out of fear they won't still love you like that - so you hide your true feelings and true self just to maintain the relationship because you love that person so much (hence, the choreo where JK tears his shirt up: ripping your own clothing to show your passion)...but then you realize since the other person doesn't know your true self, they aren't in love with your true self, so it's really a 'fake love' But the official music video points out the different levels this song operates on: BTS hiding their weaknesses from ARMY, so our love for them is a kind of fake love; BTS (or anyone) hiding their weaknesses from themselves, so we don't truly love ourselves as we are; etc

The fact that he does it perfectly live every time is so extraordinary! He truly is a musical prodigy! 🌟💜 Please react to “Jungkook the Main Vocalist of BTS” by Ida S! I really think you will find this video interesting because it shows what he does behind the scenes in the studio with vocal layering, harmonies, ad libs, etc. It also shows some of his other vocal responsibilities in the group. 😊💜💜
I've seen the ON video elebenty kajillion times and it STILL gets me fired up every time! Talking about JK's solo there, a great way to show people how truly impressive it is, is to show them Carpool Karaoke when he nails that note JUST SITTING IN A CAR. He's a phenomenal singer. JK said himself at one point that he did himself dirty hitting that note so long and hard the way he did during the recording because now he has to hit it that way forever. LOL It's probably too long for a reaction video, but you HAVE to watch the whole performance from this show. It's Fake Love>Airplane Pt. 2>IDOL and it's just... mind-blowing.

the song is more about changing yourself for the person/any thing in life actually that you love to the point when there's no you left in you. it's part of the path of loving yourself, the realisation moment that love isn't perfect as a love itself and there has to be work being put into, first of all work of learning how to love yourself before learning anybody else

Your chemistry is perfect, and I felt like I was hanging out with friends. #BringJordanBack MMA performance: When all the lights turn on inside their boxes, the boxes spell out "PERSONA" - which if you recall, is what Jung compares to masks we wear. Thus their use of masks. Also "mask" is in the lyrics, as is the concept of being a "doll." Therefore, they are like dolls or puppets before they begin performing. Also performing in boxes: Trying to fit oneself into someone else's ideal. (Theme of the song) Really appreciated your feedback on the songs and the performances. They are...from oldest (hyung)- youngest (maknae) Kim Seokjin (Jin), Min Yoongi (Suga aka August D), Jung Hoseok (J-Hope), Kim Namjoon (RM), Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung (V), Jeon Jungkook. These men have a habit of turning awards shows into their own mini concerts.
Just so you know - the words on the mirror at the beginning of the Fake Love MV say "Edise kafruo yosla tube diseur trouy yl not on wohsi” which if you read it backwards say "Ishow no ton ly yourt ruesid ebut alsoy ourfak eside" (I show not only your true side but also your fake side) 💜💜💜

Thankyou for recruiting more people to become ARMY. It always starts from trying to know their name. It's always nice to know a new perspective on their music. Your smile when he liked their music is so wide. You have become full blooded ARMY.
It was the dancing that first caught my eye. For a while, I had an image file in photoshop and I started trying to fill in the names underneath (I learned that there are few photos with a classic looking image of all seven). I always knew RM. After awhile, I got to where I could tell who was who in a still, then in a video and now, I can mostly tell by voice. The kindness they project, along with the joy, the acceptance of all -- what do we need more today? And, then, there is the incredible talent. They are far more than pop. I'm 66 and I'm ARMY.
I am always in awe how they can be that stable while dancing. I am nowhere near that stable while just standing around. Also I want to add that I actually did a concert when I was younger with our choir and we also had headlights etc and IT WAS SO WARM. We were just standing still and I was sweating! Idk how BTS are able to dance for that long (and sometimes even longer when they use a remix of their songs on concerts) and not pass out.
the fact that the beats in the dance break were produced by Suga 7 YEARS AGO and the man waited for the right timing and just BANGED it like......
you should also watch their ON dance practice.... the dancers are hyping the boys during dance break... so cool

I'm soooo happy you're doing this 😊💜💜 The guys deserve for more people to recognize them and their artistry. Where I'm from, BTS is not as popular. And for many that have heard of them, whenever they are mentioned, they're always dismissed coz they've heard "Dynamite" (which I still love btw) and have decided that that's all BTS is about. So I'm always so happy to see someone introducing others to BTS😁 💜💜

Loved watching you show Jordan his first BTS songs, and ON is a great one to start with especially the KMF. I Love that video not only because of BTS, and the song but also the marching band, I love the drum section!. If no one has told you yet the Korean music shows there are a couple different shows that are on weekly that the KPOP groups debut, or have the their comeback stage. When they are on these shows the fans learn all of the chants for that song from saying names, lines, feedback it is always fun to watch. All of the kpop groups have them. (With covid it was so odd not to have the fans there chanting when groups were on the music shows). Most of the kpop groups do almost all of the shows, and do them for at least a week to 3 or 4 weeks (New groups are on longer, the more established groups only do a week or two) so they have to do a lot of practice and a lot of shows. The award shows have amazing stages!
This was the most wholesome, happy experience of a video and you can just tell you two had a blast together!! Definitely looking forward to part 2 😄
Also, can't wait for you to watch MMAs/MAMAs live performances, they are over the top amazing! 2019 Dionysus is 🔥🔥 Recommend watching with someone to share the excitement! The fan chants are so fun, and clever. It makes the concert a shared performance by involving the crowd, and is part of why the concerts are so chill-inducing and intimate feeling! Those liveplay theatres on March 12th will be LOUD! (More so for the fans in Korea who have to clap and whisper only!!) Beware anyone trying to watch a movie in a nearby theatre! 👀

Also, the person that you love, that not only allows you to change yourself for them, but encourages you to do it…that’s not real love, either!💜
