some armys in the comments ask you all the time who's your fav member/bias or assume it. don't be pressured to pick a member. all of them are really talented and amazing. there's a quote on our fandom, "you don't choose your bias, your bias chooses you" 😆 for me, my fav was jungkook first bc of his talents and visuals but then suga came to me cuz i relate to him the most

yeah, i don't know why ppl insist on reactors picking a member when it takes a lot of content to really get to know them and find yours my bias at first was tae, but later i realized it was actually hobi, my sweeheart and sunshine lol
That exact same thing happened to me!!! First Jungkook and then Suga because I relate to him more. But all of the guys are my bias wreckers 😅 I may have a bias but I love them all.

When JK was in middle and high school, Jin would get up early, make the younger ones breakfast and drive JK to school, because he had a drivers license. Suga would pick him up from school and bring him home to practice.

The song Jimin sings with the yellow background is from the official MV for the song Film Out which was OST for the Japanese movie "Signal" - there are also a number of live performances on YT. The other song is Serendipity. The clip of him in the white costume is from MMA 2019 performance and the clip of him dancing with the fan is from MMA 2018 performance (Please react to both when you have time - they're quite long, about 30 mins). Jimin received an Award From a Cultural Fan Dance Conservation Society in Korea for this fan dance. 💜💜💜 Congratulations also to our boys for taking home all three trophies that they were nominated for at the American Music Awards yesterday, including Artist of the Year - so well deserved. 👏👏👏

RM has done SO much work for all of BTSs discography. That amount of credits for songwriting is Impressive. I feel like theres a lot of people that dont quite know what "songwriting" it self means. Without RM, we wouldnt have MOST of the BTS songs that We All Love !! Thats our Leader!🙏🐨
I love too, about Jin, that he comes from a more wealthy family; but he refused to have special accommodations or treatment. He lived in the same one room apartment with the other boys starting out and never really complains or publicly pulls "rank" . I started out with Bias, but honestly I've been Bias wrecked too many times that now I'm just OT7 forever. Borahae!

They had the old school kpop training system which is like the military, everyone live the same. The only difference is getting in. Many rich parents pulled strings to get their kids as a trainee.

@@sariel8406 bighit is unknown company that time. He even got offer for audition for SM. The biggest kpop company that time. So, its really amazing how jin still decide to be the trainee under bighit instead.
@@snisa92 he even auditioned for sm when he was 15 (was scouted 3 times actually) and he past the first audition and was asked to come back but he didn’t go bc he thought it was a scam. He talked about it in an interview with Namjoon. Most people just don’t know
A side note about Golden Closet Films (Jungkook): I remember when that happened. They had moved to a new dorm and JK got the small single room. He promptly filled it with all kinds of recording equipment, eventually moving out the bed. (From then on he slept on the floor of Jimin's room.) So, his recording studio was so crammed it was like a closet. And since his nickname is the Golden Macknae... his work became known as GCF or Golden Closet Films.
I remember armys collectively literally freaking out whenever GCFs were released for the editings were incredible as a self taught amateur😆

Just to clarify some of the comments: Jin didn't come from a wealthy family. His dad was just a normal salary man before, but through hard work, he climbed up the corporate ladder. So yeah, jin's family wasn't wealthy when he became a trainee. He did, however, use his allowance to buy stuff for the group. One thing that wasn't mentioned in the video is that Jin is a wonderful cook. Despite being the youngest in his family, he stepped up when he became part of BTS and cared and cooked for his members. He also has a LOT of dad jokes lol. And the boys consider him to be their mood maker. He makes people feel comfortable :)
‘Wealthy’ can be a relative term. Apparently his father is a CEO and used to take Jin on his international business trips. Also he learned to snowboard as his father used to go skiing, and they played sports such as tennis, swimming and golf together. So it does sound as if his family was well off, especially compared to some of the other members.

there's a correction there. KOMCA only credits the composition and writing, not the producing. Suga produced the most songs with 45-50 then rm with 10 songs. all of them help in the music making. suga was also the first to be a full member of komca back on 2018 where only 25 members around asia are picked each year

I was totally sold on it being Jin. LoL Oh, the tension! It's hard to have a BTS bias. It's really true, that Army doesn't pick a bias, we collect them. All the boys grow on us at one stage. They all are remarkable and very grounded human beings. I genuinely love them all.
Update. Suga already have 132 komca credits, it only credits the composing and writing, not the producing :) suga also practices learning drums, he has a drum set on his studio sksksks and yes, he's so multitalented and capable of everything. joon and the members always say that suga knows everything so the leader relies to him the most behind the scenes

Shout out to JIN for being the best at trying sooo hard like having 0% dancing and singing skills when he started but improving soooo much over the years. Imagine JIN was cast twice just for his looks that even the actor Song Kang mentioned that Jin really had superior visuals when he saw Jin at school.
Jin has the longest vocal training period in BTS for 4 years. He has the biggest range in kpop now.
A little more on Jin : He came from a wealthy family. His looks have gotten him a lot of viral attention in Korea well as overseas lol 😂 He is also a great cook, he used to cook them a lot of food in their early days, he still does. He has been called “Silver voice” by a Grammy panelist. People who’ve seen them Live mention that he’s also very stable. His solo compositions are very different from his on screen persona😅 Like I’ve previously recommended please do listen to “Tonight” - a song he wrote for his pets who passed away “Abyss” - a song he wrote when he felt major burn out and was going through a difficult time Heartbreakingly beautiful ❤️🔥💔
he did not come from a wealthy family. his family became wealthier over time (but they were still not crazy rich when Jin joined as a trainee). In his early teen years especially, he has mentioned his family being more middle class. But they definitely had a little bit more disposable income to spend on the boys.

It's a Japanese BTS song and it was a OST(Original Sound track) for Japanese series called "Signal" You'll be totally amazed by the vocals in that. Jungkook helped in writing the lyrics of this song. •And the studio version of Jimin singing song is called "Promise" his solo song. “Promise“ was originally a dark song, meant to reprimand himself when he was going through inner struggles. More like a comfort song. It has beautiful catchy Vocals of Jimin & melody and meaningful lyrics too it. Just like Lie you will be amazed by it!

That is my number onest favorite song out of my favoritest songs of the week. The Korean version of the show Signal is really good, gotta find the Japanese version.
Also I wanna add another beautiful OST Japanese movie sung by BTS called "Your Eyes Tell" both for the song and movie title. It's a beautiful sad song, and Jungkook is also the songwriter.

I love people watching this video (and a couple others) and going "oooh, wooow, the talent" (spoken or just in their face expression). These introduction videos (when well edited and done) are eye-openers for many that either are neutral or go to the "I don't listen to that kind of music" (ok, so... what kind is bts?) I'm tuning in and out since I'm working but I want to see you guys! They wiped the AMAs yesterday T-T The best part, that's advance intro of the members is (as a song of theirs say): they are no celebs, they celebrate. They don't mingle with the drama people that's in the limelight, they do their thing (Idol!) and bye. Yesterday, after the AMAs, they took a couple pictures on the carpet and 1 hour later they were at their hotel (presumably) eating pizza and drinking champagne (and spoiling a tiny bit of a thing XD - another must know is "Joon is spoilerman when live") connecting with army via vlive... By the way, not only US connection is sub-par, but it is when 14M people is trying to connect (in Korea, last last time JK had 22M with no problems). Oops, here it goes my letter-comment of the day, sorry!!! I really like you and I care about the guys and I get excited. Bye XD

Not that you were very bad with that, but just to make it clear that you don’t need to worry about the length of the video, but more so whether you get the full experience and take the time to avoid missing anything 🙂

J-Hope and Becky G’s 2019 remake of Chicken Noodle Soup was a tribute to Young B and DJ Webstar’s hit 2006 hip-hop song of the same name. Young B and DJ Webstar are from Harlem and incorporated Harlem choreography into the video, which sparked a viral dance challenge on social media. J-Hope wanted to cover this song because it was the first song he learned how to dance to as a kid, and he wanted his version to represent his passion for dance. He bonded with his collaborator, Latin singer Becky G over their mutual love of the song. J-Hope and Becky G performed a new interpretation of the choreography, and added lyrics paralleling the original song’s references to Harlem with their own references to their hometowns/origins.

In regard to V they didn’t mention Sweet night an ost for his friends drama, it received 118 #1s on iTunes and has over 177 million plays on Spotify, he was a member hired for his visuals but has gone on to prove that he is much more, the tune you loved with his amazing high notes is Stigma, if you watch his stage mix of Singularity you can see how consistent he is in his performance.
They didn't also add much videos of him dancing which is quite upsetting

There’s live performances of ‘Ddaeng’ and ‘Ugh’ and I’d recommend pairing them with the corresponding ‘explained by a Korean’ video by DKDKTV because they’re so complex and rich with Korean word play and cultural references we wouldn’t get as Americans. Yes and it is very much recommended to pair watching with the DKDKTV explanations, for Ugh and Ddaeng. they will blow your mind. I never even liked rap before but this is so much more meaningful. Then, there are the solos: If I had to pick I'd say Daechwita (Suga), Persona (RM) Chicken Noodle Soup (Hobi) .......there are so many other really good ones... so, thanks!
The yellow background one is one of their Japanese original release called "FILM OUT". It was also used for a thriller time travel Japanese Movie theme song. The Jimin song is "PROMISE", it was his first self produced solo song outside of Bts album and he released it for free on Soundcloud. All of the members solo projects are released on soundcloud, there are some real hidden gems there.

Oh and the beautiful Korean fan dance of Jimin is from MMA2018, strongly recommend it after you listen to Idol! Also Winter Bear is written by V, and the mv was also directed by him. It's such a sweet and nostalgic song, you can react or watch it with Sweet Night which he also wrote himself, they show V's vibes so well
Taehyung wrote winter bear for his late grandmother who he misses dearly, which makes the beautiful song even more nostalgic, sweet and sad :(

They opened the show with the most exuberant performance of My Universe with Coldplay.Both groups looked so happy,you will love it. Then they closed the show with Butter. Won Artist of the Year,first time for an asian artist at the AMAs,it's a huge thing for them,plus Butter won favourite pop song and the Tannies won Favourite Pop group.

What else can I tell you...the song with the yellow background is Serendipity, the other songs by Jimin you liked (without even knowing it😄) are Promise and Filter. He also has a duet with V that became part of the soundtrack for a recent Marvel movie, which was cool. They're all just total sweathearts, incredibly funny and good with animals and people alike, BUT I think you also share that, both of you. Enjoyed your reaction, Andrew and Caitlin. So glad I found you. I'm just a year "down the rabbit hole," so it's fun to watch you get "hooked," too. This video suffices as a scratch-the-surface introduction to BTS (and I get it that Ida S's own biases show), but for a much deeper dive, I recommend The Rise of Bangtan KZhead docuseries. Although the episodes are probably too long for reaction vids, the series is a top-notch tool for learning the BTS backstory and discography.

This is the best introduction video because it is updated and focuses on their professional sides. All of them have an equal amount of time and information on their songwriting credits and hobbies. If it’s okay for RM to be introduced as the “Leader”, then it should be ok for JK’s positions to be introduced. That doesn’t make her video biased, it makes it the only video that introduces JK properly, instead of just saying he is the maknae or “baby” of the group. JK will always be the “Main Vocalist” and “Center” of BTS and nothing will ever change that.

If you have the time, the Rise of Bangtan series is absolutely amazing as a way of seeing their story from the start to present-day - it's fanmade but honestly it's so well-done you would never know that it wasn't made by professionals. The episodes are long but SO worth it. Since you guys enjoyed this one so much I think you would really have fun seeing the history and story of BTS in more detail! 💜

Another vote for Rise of Bangtan Series - it is excellent and the best way to watch their story from the beginning. There are quite a few in the series - and also extras and deleted scenes episodes for every chapter. it is SO so worth it to really get to know them. Aneesa and her team is amazing. They are also taking a break for a few months so it would be a good time to catch up on them for when the new episodes are released in 2022.
When they say their age, take 1 year out. In Korea, you are born with 1 year already (around 10mo in the womb), so at the beginning when NJ says "I'm seventeen", he's probably 16 (sooooooooooometimes (you get what you need), they address their international age, but I doubt he was doing it there). RM, Joonie: May2021 173 credits, November 2021 he has 186 :) You are right, it was trending on twt the other day. He's the 2nd and the youngest. They finally included his JP song lyrics in the KOMCA ;) His first mixtape was crazy good (RM) much recommended, I know you like rap now ;) and then, mono... with lyrics and... tissues, a lot. He raps in here, but is a slower, chill rap most of the time (my fav are Forever Rain, everythingoes, moonchild). Also, his latest collab with a KR artist Aeon in the song "Don't". J hope only started rapping when he joined BTS, Jin, Jungkook, jimin and V only started to sing when they joined too. Only RM and Suga had experience in stage and performance
The yellow background song is Film Out. The song was written by BTS member Jungkook in collaboration with the lead vocalist of Japanese rock power trio Back Number, Iyori Shimizu, and the track's producer UTA. V singing Stigma is amazing, especially when it's sung live. Jimin wrote, composed and produced the song FRIENDS, that's part of THE ETERNALS soundtrack, in which Jimin and V sing. Jin is also a great cook and used to feed the younger members during their trainee days. The winter footage at the end of the video is from their Bon Voyage series Season 4 and was filmed in my country New Zealand. My love for RUN BTS rivals my love for their performances. I can't wait to see who your biases are. Excited!!!
You should listen to tear with the lyrics and then watch a performance. I remember i think suga said the group was going through hard times and thinking about disbanding when the members heard the song and they all cried.

The majority of this fandom loves this updated introduction video the most and they also love and support Ida S videos. Because she is one of the only channels that focuses on Jungkook’s professional side and talents and not just that he is the maknae or “baby” of the group. Jungkook is the “Main Vocalist” and “Center” of BTS. These are incredibly important positions and need to be respected and recognized. I recommend that you see “Jungkook the Main Vocalist of BTS” by Ida S so you can see him talk about his official position on camera and his behind the scenes work in the studio, etc. 💜

Ida S has the best videos and I loved watching your reactions! As you probably know, Big Hit was almost broke when the group first started, so Jin was the one who drove Jungkook to school and picked him up, he made lunches for him and brought him to meet his own family. JK's family was so far away and he was so young. The other members did an amazing job helping raise JK. The love they all have for the other members is one of my favorite things about BTS!!

The high note that Taehyung🐯 sings here@28:05 is from his solo STIGMA. I remember a lot of people asked for that but i guess it was so close to singularity and then you just ended up doing that. I feel like V's singing is SO impressive, just seein how low his natural voice is and how much he has practiced his notes and is able to go to that level of high notes too.. He definetly has the widest range out of them, and more often people just disregards that completly!🙏✌
Yes, Stigma has been recommended A LOT, but I was trying to stick with just 1 solo from each until I got to everyone. Now I think that one will be soon!
