The Lenovo-owned brand has created a concept phone display that can literally wrap around your wrist. The device, which Motorola unveiled on Tuesday and which it refers to as an adaptive display, is designed to showcase future phone possibilities allowed by a flexible screen. The company says the screen can be "bent and shaped into different forms" depending on what you want.

All the Apple lovers will call this stupid until Apple comes out with one.
Honestly so true
Facts
Apple user here: this is definitely a cool concept. But gonna have to wait 5 years for Apple to release their own version 😂
@@Camander I’m an Apple user as well but I’m hip to how we (they) are when it comes to tech lol.
I didn’t so you’re instantly wrong. I am always surprised why non apple users are so bothered by apple.
Finally someone is innovating phones again. Thanks Moto.
This is finally made real. Nokia had a concept called Nokia morph 14 years ago. So cool.
Uh 14 years already....
Nokia 888 was based on my concept which won the Nokia Benelux Design Awards in 2005. This actually make me proud, we all knew the day would come.
Finally the old good times are back!
Pretty cool imo especially if they develop a model that bends tide like an actual bracelet so you can feel like im a sci-fi movie
I'm using the Motorola Razr Plus and love it. I do wish they would put slightly more emphasis on updates though.
motorola needs to learn history
they should make a braclet that will dock the phone when placed on the wrist
What an incredible innovation…hats off to it
Great. Bendables, Foldables Rollables and combinations of these 3 are the future.

You've probably never owned one. They are inconvenient and cumbersome.
Keep hating Android Phone love this is what company want keep hating 😂😂
This reminded me of those rolling laptop concepts that you'd see in the early 2010s
When will this come out?
My first ever mobile phone was Motorola in 1999. My current smartphone is Motorola and my next phone is Edge 30 Ultra, in case there was no Edge 40 Ultra of course.
I want one that wraps around my neck!
Wooow..... impressive 👏👏👏
Awesome! This is the Nokia Morph they presented 14 years ago. I’ve been waiting for it! Good job Motorola!!
She never once gives Gravity a chance to do its thing. Once on her wrist her arms are constantly extended. That thing will fall off an smash immediately in any kind of real world use.
Love the idea but it's hilarious she didn't put her hands to her side like a normal person after she put it on
yeah coz it might fall. they should make it longer so that it will fit the wrist entirely
dang i rn wondering if paper thin phones will be the future or these bendable phones. maybe a combination of both?
This is so cool
She’s happy as she is the one who invented it
so amazing
Thought this was an SNL skit lol
Changed the Game
I use a Motorola G84 and I I love it. Does what I need.
Will there be flexible cases as well??????
Nowadays have Gorilla Glass doesn't need cases.
India me kb aarha he?
Great 😮
I mean ….. damn! GG Motorola
Love it!
Good stuff
Whats the make and model?
The future of phones is phones with removable batteries. Corporations will do anything to sidestep practical features as means to elevate their devices into a fashion product instead of a practical tool. Good thing Europe is forcing removable batteries on manufacturers. If removable batteries really did sacrifice waterproofing or durability, then the Samsung xcover 6 pro would not exist. Hot swappable battery, headphone jack, ip68 waterproofing and mil810H certification.
Where to buy? Is the future here and is release?
What I need is a smart phone with a battery that can last 3 days, 5 days, or 7 days without charging. I don't need a phone that can do yoga.
Motorola is using Nobel Prize winning material graphene to create the screens
This is it folks, it's science time
waoh....this is interesting, more interesting than foldable phone
I love this, and if the price is right i'll buy it.
When its coming
Its cool and all but my main concern with foldables is A they barely last a year and need to be more durable and B i still don't see any practical use for the book style outside of multi tasking because they certainly are not good for videos due to the jank aspect ratios you end up with a worse phone and a worse tablet
Finally!
Isn't the A.I. they're talking abot just the same thing Material U can do?
Price ?
At least something new
What's to stop someone from taking our from you're wrist
its gonna have to be a bit longer to not fall off
This is extremely useful!
It's kinda cool....❤
my OCD kicks in when it does not fully wrap around the wrist LOL
I can hear all the casing and screen protector manufacturers saying, "THANK GOD iPhone and Samsung don't come up with this yet!"
Apples gonna come out with this and their dumb users will be like OMG SO UNIQUE
Now I cant wait for Zach to bend test this😂😂😂💛💜👊
What does it cost
Now they want you to connect yourself with the phones permanently!
alot of crickets in that room...
FOLD MOTTO😮
Who remembers Emopulse? Now it’s finally here lol.
Apple needs to catch up FAST! 😆
This phone stretchable but also snatchable hre in the philipine
If this becomes mainstream for most phones in 10 years people won't really bother buying watches when you can just bend your phone
You won't even have to watch the limited flatscreen with Vision Pro for godsake!! This bendable is late in the tech wise when VR/AR can do billion more
Cool
Yes fine but how beautiful is this lady? Omg I'm in love 😍😍😍
Hb tempered glasses
What bends more the phone or her pinky at 0:16
how heavy could this be? it looks uncomfortable on her wrist.
More RF radiation, straight into the body. Awesome!!!
Aaaaahh yes radio frequently radiation
Even if this WAS dangerous, do you really think that it being on your wrist instead of being in your hand would be that much of a difference?
@@doctaterror wait until he realize light is also a wave like radio and microwave 💀 And every wave is harmful for human, just some have negligible effect
Nokia showed off a prototype 15 years ago and lenovo 7 years ago
it's good to use while in the bathroom perhaps😀
"Moments ago" suuure, presentation made days ago.
I visioned this idea 2 years ago of bendable phones will be the future of smart phones and here I am. Seems like somebody copied my vision. Non worries I have many visionary ideas where so many products will be changed where they currently makes sense but doesn't make sense when customer uses it. I like problem solver ideas with perfect execution just like Steve jobs eliminated buttons on the phone which were useless and so many great products comes like that where some functions of the product are not feasible in real life.
I want that but I know that they are so expensive
Kiya zabardast hai🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Self standing?😂😂😂😂, you call it standing? Cmon😂😂😂😂
Why not allow the engineers to do the presentation?
She was more than capable of demonstrating the value of this concept.
If they put engineers to demonstrate, it'll get harder to understand.
@@schyracollbrande1900 Give the engineers more respect. They created the product.
@@kb8570 that's the thing, they simplified it for the consumers to understand what the product is. I once went to a defence and little to nothing I understand what the engineer said. When the representative spoke about it, it was just a generator project.
Lenovo did it 7 years ago
Poor woman, she was shaking like a leaf. But I am so glad Motorola is bringing out a unique phone, instead of copy n paste phones everyone is doing. I hope Motorola follows LG ways, then I will gladly support Motorola.
Now who will do bend test with smartphones? 😂
The future is here
Is this the future or hype? It's still super cool to be honest.
If you compared it to Vr it is like ancient already
Oooh that does not look stable on the wrist. Someone needs to make the Sports version and the Health Monitoring Version.
I think it snaps onto a magnetic bracelet, idk how heavy the magnetic bracelet and the phone would be on your wrist tho, might cause some problems
Bet that comes off the wrist so easily.
Smartphone+smartwatch eh
"Battery life 4h". Cheers. Pass.
And as usual the battery life is horrendous 😂... What about focusing on that first
I don't think it's meant to be worn on the wrist constantly.
What for???
Here comes whole apple eater not just a bit of apple damm things gonna change from here … credit to motorola’s
Motorola PipBoy.....
The desperation to compete and please is disturbing... Corporations racing headlong (always been so in tech, i know, i know) into AI, at such a frenzied pace, is disturbing, to say the LEAST! Now, 5 MONTHS later, it's only ramped up more. It's ABSURD! Humanity is NOT READY (not mature enough) to deal with the power super computers will bring, let along AI that has reached singularity!

What I thought iPhone 15 would be🥲
Handsfree experience will come to be useful when sitting on the toilet
Lol but why ?
Apple did this with iphone 6 😂
😂 I remember that saga😅
Nokia 888
Was she wearing Apple Watch?
Why did they pick an intern to present this?? I mean she is all over the place giggling and making faces.
that's just hilarious😂😂
Naaah
Finally, new features unlike Apple.
In the end is just a boring touch sensitive flatscreen. Apple Vision Pro already making this obsolete.
Feature with small use? Okay it can be bend is that the whole point?😂
@@randomvideos3187 Uhhh yes. Other than that, is basically another smartphone.
