    • My mom has a Model X and I drive it to school everyday, don’t get me wrong It looks cool as fuck! But It’s so fucking annoying to use. Round steering wheel is much more ergonomic and is what I’d spec on my Tesla if I had my own.

    • It’s $90k. The $86k price takes into account gas savings which is a bit deceiving. The money you save on gas is easily offset by higher insurance and tire replacement costs.

  • A 400hp less powerful Porsche can not only beat it in a lap around the Nurburgring, it can make the driver feel more enjoyment through providing better chassis balance in corner acceleration and braking. And on top of that it has way better repeat performance without resting. So you shout it’s the “world’s fastest” what on a drag strip? Who cares about that, people that appreciate a cars dynamics look at the whole package and especially the cars driving feel and performance around a track.

    • Yeah but that Tesla is faster in the real world it gives you instant torque so you can unleash the plaid is no slow poke it ran a 7 43 second on the nurburgring I and sub 1 30 on the Laguna seca the only Porsche that is faster are the 911 gt3 gt2 rs and turbo series which is kind of unfair if you consider they outright 2 door sports car current no 4 door Porsche is faster then the plaid

    • But like I said the Tesla can’t do repeatability or endurance, once a battery is 80% or less it’s performance falls away. A Porsche can put in lap after lap after lap and there is no brake or tyre issue. A Tesla can’t compete, yes it can do a single lap of the Nurburgring but then it needs to rest or it overheats and also need to recharge. Even without these negatives it’s the fact it’s terrible to drive due to its chassis, ask anyone that enjoys driving what car they would rather be in or drive on a track day.

    • The tesla model s plaid was 160k last year and now 89k. Model 3 is 20k. Biggest cost of owning a tesla is depreciation. Every average joe in the world has one its like a poor mans sports car now, its over saturated. I'd get something more unique and customize it so it actually stands out on the road. If u got 80k too spend id go with a bmw m3 comp or m4. Way better interior and u can spec it out and get ppl checking out ur car. Nothing like hearing a engine going down a road.. the downshifts❤ and u won't lose all ur money when u go to sell. Next year a new plaid or roadster will come out and these will be even more dirt cheap. Idk it's up to u but I see 6 teslas going to the gym they aren't cool
