Ronaldo and Vieri were in their prime in the 90s and as strikers they were remembering the defenders of the good old days. Their memories were fixed on Maldini and to Pietro Vierchowod. I remember also a Champions League match between Bayern Munich and Milan, at the end of the match, another great defender, Philip Lahm, went to Maldini for an autograph, and of course the captain obliged. Those things show you how great Maldini is, and I'm not even a Milan fan.

He also hard tackle and wanted to start a fight both Roy Keane and Eric Cantona on the same pitch but neither men engage with him fearing the worst as yet to come and instead walk away.
