2022 Van Builder's Workshop Tour | Moving out of the Storage Unit
In this video, I explain where I've been performing my builds for the last year and I upgrade to a new workshop space that is attached to my new apartment. After using an average storage unit as a workshop for the last year, I've really learned to appreciate the little things like insulated walls, heat, electricity, and lighting. Follow along as I show you the path that lead to my new workshop space and show the full space in its entirety.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and taking us on this journey with you. Your garage shop layout is AMAZING! Much like your van designs it’s a great utilization of space and designed for multi purpose use. Having all the work stations on wheels is such a genius move and your military background really shines through in your impeccable organization. Congratulations on your new place, you’ve earned it! Looking forward to more content.

  • In Afghanistan I would hide one earbud under all my cold weather gear because we weren't aloud to listen to music. My playlist was pretty well a mix of everything and Seether would play every time I went through this one area of my route so still to this day when I hear Seether I think of that location. There's your random comment. Keep up the good work.

  • Super late to this video. sorry for bumping this video in your inbox when it's old but I had to say this though. It is amazing watching people like you that take something bad, and turn it into something good. I'm not talking about your conversions, I'm talking about your life. You lived on someone else's land, couldn't afford a workshop, found a work around, and you grew your skills, mindset, and life around what you could. Always bettering yourself no matter what life threw at you. Money, covid. I'm from the hood, first male in my fam that went to college, moved up, got a good job, and now has a family of three with one on the way. I love seeing people wanting something, and doing everything to get that goal. Keep working my man.

Seriously, what you did with your travel trailer if better than any brand new rig that I’ve seen. Not to mention the camper, your truck camper and the vans you have done. Your carpentry skills are bordering perfect and I would think I’ve hit the lottery to have a travel trailer like yours, built to be a Beautiful Home. Good luck in all you do, but with your skills you will master all that you choice to do. Thanks for sharing with us and don’t ever stop reacher higher or going further. 🙏⚓️

  • So happy for you! Your new apartment and garage/workshop are a big step for you. The workshop is really sell-organized. My dad had a shop for most of my life. He started in a corner of his garage and eventually built a 40'by 30' pole barn - using 1/2 for his 4-wheeled ATV, riding lawn mower, and all their attachments like a grader, wagon, etc. He had more equipment - drill press, planer, etc - but it was organized as hours is. Arranged to go logically from 1 work area to the next as needed. He spent 50+ years collecting his tools and equipment, and he could fo anything, build anything: woodwork, metalwork, wiring, plumbing, etc. You seem to be the same type of man - a master of all trades. I think that's why I love your videos. Congratulations on this big step!
