  • Dual brother, 72 year old X woodworker here, really appreciate your craftsmanship! Safety heads up! When using your table saw, especially with dado blades, do not back material over blades after making cut .!.! Simply follow through in direction of original cut away from blade. Thus preventing kickback ! I have the cutoff thumb tip testifying the power of kickback. Happy creating!😅

  • Now coming as a person that values competency over any other trait, you are the most talented person I have ever seen. I am constantly mesmerised by your video editing, my ADHD is fully stimulated, you include enough of each aspect of what you’re doing to make us feel like we are there with you every step of the way, but short enough that we don’t have time to consider being distracted. You switch from the time lapse to your explaining something interesting. You don’t spoon feed us, by telling us that you’re going to install the solar panels, you respect our intelligence enough to know we will put that together ourselves. The list of what you are (very) competent seems to be ever growing! Meticulous fashion and grooming, your understanding of the severity and importance of PPE equipment, your video editing skills, carpentry, metal work, art, and I’m not even half way through it! I have the biggest platonic crush on you buddy! Also I’m high, so very high. In the interest of being fully transparent.

  • Suggestion: I've watched your builds since the beginning. I can tell you think through the process before building out the van. I have one suggestion. If you add a way to "collect rain water some how" then have it go through a filtration process, you won't have to constantly have to look for fresh water and can stay off grid for longer periods. And in the back of the van, if you weld a device to hold a e-bike, the e-bike can be used to go use for re supply runs, all you need is mount plastic milk crate in the front of the e-bike. Cuts down on gas money / stay off grid at the same time.

  • I can count on one hand the number of times I've actually commented on a video. It's not been a common practice for me, but for some reason I felt compelled to express how much joy these videos bring me! It's the therapy i never knew I needed....There's something oddly soothing about the sound of the machines, and the hammering and the sawing, etc. that I literally sometimes fall asleep to. It's counterintuitive, but somehow it makes perfect sense. I was so excited to turn on my computer and discover that a new video had been uploaded. Van conversions have become a new obsession for me, ever since I discovered that you could even do that in a van! Since that discovery, I have kind of immersed myself in that world via KZhead....a path that eventually led me to this channel, which has become my absolute favorite. Watching a dwelling space be manifested from nothing, and transformed into a complete oasis is so satisfying, and even more than that, it's inspiring. The process is fascinating to witness. My absolute most favorite part of this build has to be the pieces of wood cut and fashioned to look like tiles, or bricks depending on how you look at it. That was so very creative, a sign of true artistry. And it is beautiful. On my own journey, I hope to create a reality in which i am able to acquire a van of my own to assist me in living my purpose. And once that reality is made manifest, I can't imagine there would be a better person to contact for the endeavor! Much gratitude to you for creating this channel.

  • DualEx, you have done a fantastic job of reviving that old Chevy and improving the interior. My first van conversion was of a 73 Chevy and it did not come anywhere close to what you did, but it worked for my wife and I with our 2 1/2 year old daughter to go camping comfortably and safely. Love it and I thought that you might possibly raise the roof about 18” or more so that you could stand erect in the van, but know that entails a lot of extra work in a van over 40 years old. I look forward to your next project.

  • I have been watching your videos for a total of two years now, and I am over the top amazed at your skills. I am 56 years old. My father was a master carpenter, who died at the age of 90 but I’m sure if he was alive he would enjoy watching your videos. I don’t know if your plans involve marriage or children but I know one thing whoever that lucky woman is and I do mean lucky, She should really cherish you as her husband not only because of your skill set but because you are a very kindhearted person. I am sure that there are more to come more van transformations, but the video that I am hoping to see is the video of your wedding and the video of how you transform an old house, a antique house into a luxury house with your own two hands. I know that one is definitely on the list. I am so excited and I can’t wait and I hope I’m around to see that day. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world with us. We really appreciate and love you to pieces.

  • I’m a 21 year old woman who isn’t into cars or remodeling, but you did a phenomenal job in every aspect of the van, your craftsmanship, I learned & have my mind opened on how people make these things, and you are creative in every detail. Even the video is good, and I don’t know if you edit it or not but whoever did made it all come together. Well, now you have a new subscriber because my new obsession is watching random people build thing I have 0 interest in partaking it to see the end result. Kinda like when I was child & was obsessed with HGTV and would watch Fixer-Upper or a TV show about a couple trying to find their new home. Even I watch “How It’s Made” & I always say that was one of the best TV shows & taught me so much about how things are made lmao. Anywho, this is rant but just wanted to share how you gained a new subscriber who is probably the opposite of your target audience/the majority of viewers.❤️
