The Best Lunch Meat To Buy At The Grocery Store...And What To Avoid!

You have been asking for a review of lunch meat and deli meat, so I headed back to the grocery store to do a deep dive. Even though lunch meats are processed, you can still find some really high quality ones, it's all about reading the ingredients, as usual. Try to buy organic turkey, ham, or chicken, and look for minimal ingredients on the back without any nasty preservatives. Applegate is the winner in the lunch aisle, but you can also buy some pretty good lunch meat from oscar mayer naturals, ALDI, and Trader Joe's. The average deli meats are loaded with lots of preservatives you don't want to put in your body, lots of salt, brine, and fillers. Buy the best quality lunch meat you can find, it's worth putting good ingredients in your body! Mad love Bobby...Dessi...and Art! XOXO

Its because of you I’ve not only lost weight but improved everything in my life from being more focused at my Job to having more energy throughout the day to accomplishing more. I’ve tried to watch all of your videos and I’m addicted to it because its just full of usefulness that no one can dis agree with. I hope the world opens its eyes to these things and that more people are aware of it so that we can all live a better life. Thank you Bobby 🤗.

  • I love that Bobby is pointing out the good lunch meats to customers. I wish I had someone pointing out the healthier options to me while shopping. Sometimes I have to grocery shop after my hemodialysis treatment and after treatments I get brain fog really bad so I have trouble making decisions or choices of such simple things that I normally don’t have to think twice about. Like the foods I buy. Add to that I have to consider the amount of cooking I have to do to even feed myself. Kidney failure is exhausting and most days I don’t even have the strength to make toast, let alone bake my own bread first… which I used to do. I miss my whole food cooking when I knew exactly what ingredients I was eating, now it’s just a long, drawn out game of russian roulette. Listen to Bobby, take his advice and do as much as you can to protect & preserve your health.

  • Bobby, testimonial here. You are definitely making a difference in people's lives. A couple months ago, I stumbled across your KZhead offerings. Since then, I've changed a lot of things in my diet and shopping. Needless to say, eating healthy isn't cheap but neither is a bypass...I've suffered from Gerd for approximately 30 years. All my doctor has done is prescribe ppi's. Since taking your advice, I've reduced my ppi usage. I go for my annual physical next week and hope to come off my statin. My BP is stable and my energy has increased. I take your app out whenever I'm at the store. Keep up the great work and thank you sir.

  • You commented about someone cutting out carrageenan, I too had the same issue with my gut. My doctors could not figure what was causing my gut problems and after several tests and several doctors I decided to try and research it myself. When I saw your videos, I decided to take a lot of notes and cut out some of those products in my diet. Major game changer for me. It was an unbelievable difference, I've never felt better. So thank you so much for your knowledge.

If you could when you show a product you approve of could you show the picture of it a few seconds longer? We take snapshots of the products you recommend and the pictures help us find the correct product at the store. Thank you for helping us with healthier.

    • Elizabeth Porter Your comment is interesting and something I've never heard. I have a cookbook from an Amish/Mennonite site and the ingredients can be pretty funky for salads and even baked goods. I am a bit more wary of those things but I feel safer with the meats and eggs. Can you give me an example of a questionable item ?

    • Elizabeth Porter Geeze....sounds pretty shady. Hope it's just a rumor. I live in NJ and a drivable distance to Lancaster Co. PA. The market I go to is run by Amish from there. I'm going to try to investigate a little into this. That you for the heads up.

  • Thank you for helping us navigate the food. I have been working for years trying to figure out what is good and bad in our food. I cook everything and I try to be aware of everything we eat. I have noticed in your deli meat video that a couple of Bobby App had dextrose. Also, there is a great article in Consumer Reports in 2019 about cured and uncured meats and their link to colon cancer. Thought you might be interested. Again, thanks for all of your diligent work as most of us just don't have the time to do this research.
