Welcome to my KZhead channel, in this week's video I tried to make a bowl using a method that I had never done before, namely, making the crook shift, meaning that the small wooden planks were stacked and then turned and then shifted so that they were far apart, then on turning again into a bowl, for finishing I use natural oil, I hope you are entertained by watching my video and I hope this video can be useful for many people

  • Thinking to myself how does he get from the perfectly round to the slatted round shape ... then realised that at no point did I see him glue the pieces together, apart from the block board on top/bottom ... what an ingenious method 😁 I feel as though I repeat myself over and over again, your imagination and craftsmanship seems to know no bounds ... every single piece seems to be unique and you do this every week ... just incredible ... it is a pleasure to watch someone like yourself work 👍

  • Interested in some teak for your next project? Not sure how many folks know but the battleship New Jersey museum is just aabout to wrap up a re-decking. They are selling the salvageable scraps of her old deck. Teak can be hard to come by and this teak has a story. Just thought you or someone who watches these videos may want to know.

    • I once made it using teak wood, old teak wood is difficult to get, here is teak wood which is still easy and it is not good for turning, maybe later I will make it again, thank you 🙏🙏

  • Very innovative and wonderful result. Why don't you use bowl gouges instead of carbide scrapers? They cut cleaner and end up being faster. Just wondering.
