TWO VASES IN ONE, dual profile woodturning

Welcome back to my KZhead channel, in this week's video I made two vases into one, at first I made several pieces of maple and walnut wood with each a different size and adjusted them to the design then each one was turned into two different shapes. different then arranged into one and produced two vases, for finishing I used natural oil, I hope you will be entertained by watching my video and I hope this video can be useful for many people

  • The way your videos are edited, it's easy to forget just how much work goes into the preparation before you even get to the lathe. The amount of skill and patience you have is first rate.

    • Right? I'm always amazed at the amount of work and patience that goes into making a piece, long before it ever meets a lathe. It must take an artist, and a craftsman, to pull it off. :)

    • Yeah, that's what I was thinking about more than once. Would be interesting to know how many hours go into the preparations. And I would very much like to look over Mayuko's shoulder watching the genesis and development of his design, the drawings and calculations... But even without these insights it's a joy to watch the turning process and see the results.

  • Amazing work brother, I was going to do exactly the same thing in a couple of weeks ago 😒. I made a Christmas video in Dec. with three Christmas trees that's when I came up with the idea in your video LOL-SHIT! Anyhow you do awesome and there is never a dull moment. 👍
