Flew with them 4 times before the pandemic in B777s and had a pleasant experience. So much potential for TAAG. I hope they do well.
Hello. Was a big pleasure to watch this beautiful video, I'm Angolan, and I'm very proud of my country, we have good pilots, was waiting for this moment, thank you very much!
This was the cockpit video I was waiting for since you announced it on your IG channel. TAAG Airlines was always one of those more mysterious airlines I would have liked to see behind the scenes of
TAAG pilots doing us proud 💪
What a really nice pair of pilots at 14 minute time great stuff
JP and Team ❤✈!!!!! Thanks for the great filming 👍 Have a nice weekend!!!!! Many greetings from 🇳🇱❤🇺🇸 Xx...........
Thank you! TAAG great Boeing customer
Angola my country ❤
Great Video, the first officer made a beautiful landing . . . . like a marshmallow, always amazes me the very little bit of inputs to the stick when pulling back to slow the descent or flare but the side to side movements seems so exaggerated ? anyway, Loved this one, thank you all
Finally my country 🎉🇦🇴
In 2006-2007 I did a number of trips to Luanda to do contract work for the airport. Then there were two brand new TAAG 777-200s parked off to the side not being used. They had been received directly from Boeing and were planned to be used on a Luanda-Paris route, but the Angolans had never received approval from either the EU or the French to operate 777-200s and they had no pilots type-rated in the 777. They just assumed that 747 pilots could just jump in and fly away. Eventually, after a year or so, they got the first approval and flew the first flight to Paris. The French aviation authority was waiting for them and did a full inspection. They found that only one of the pilots had a 777 type rating, received the previous week with no check rides. They also found many/most checklists and manuals still in the original Boeing shrink-wrapped packages. The French grounded the plane and TAAG had to contract to somebody to fly the plane back to Luanda on a ferry flight. It was still there when my contract finally ended.
That's scary, I wouldn't have wanted to be on that flight. Also crazy that they would buy 2 new aircraft without knowing they would need pilot training to fly them.
My National Company 😍👌
Well done my country ❤️❤️❤️
My beautiful TAAG 🇦🇴🇦🇴
*GOOD JOB AIR PLANE ✈✈✈*
Finally a TAAG video …. Well done JP well done Captains
i think the last landing in the dash 8 was to deep onto the runway, minute 29:08, maybe they didnt make a go around
Thanks,so, much.
I'd like it to be longer, my Taag, my Angola
Excited here!!❤️🇵🇭
At 6:21, did I see that right, he only deployed the right reverser? Is that SOP for this airline or was there an engine fault? Great landing nonetheless.
Never knew Robert De Niro was the captain of this flight
Orgulho Angolano... Forca familia

Wow! 2h22 at FL250😳. Pretty low flight level for such a flight time. What’s was reason?
Absolute cowboys! JP you guys are mad/brave.
Great channel. JP, please feature Ugandan Airlines, Uganda's national Airline. Its a great Airline, and they recently added more international routes. Thank you.
We filmed Uganda Airlines 10 months ago... waiting on their approval to release the video...
@JP Are you planning Air Arabia Maroc videos? Would be nice to see Murcia to Oujda-Angad or Domestic flights with A320 Also SAUDIA, Thai Airways, Korean Air, Maximus Air, Etihad 777, A320 family would be nice.
Keep safe drive

Why do pilots always have the microphone in there mouth they are blowing and puffing into it it’s awful
The microphones are designed to not pick up background noise. As a result, you have to have the mic really close to your mouth - in fact, touching your lip - for the sound of your voice to be picked up
it needs to be really close or it won’t key
I have to admit, I did pick up on that breathing sound from the first officer, it seemed like the captain was more aware and able to control breathing directly into the mic, perhaps the captain has more practice :)
He probably has asthma
As long as they both can understand each other is the most important thing. Nobody says that you have to sound beautiful on the radio
