. @KingShadStarSeed9 John and Mary. You should see them when the cameras are off, the carry on....
What a lovely couple. Totally professional in cockpit, it’s obvious that each of them has very good skills and plenty of experience as captains. Any private matters seem excluded during flight, highly professional as they are. Very impressive, such a pleasant flight to watch.
I love this! Married pilots flying an a321 neo together. So beautiful
Ya totally, thank you!
Surprised that they'd allow a husband and wife to operate the same flight. In the unfortunate event that there's a tragedy, the family is gone and any children are left as orphans. Not a great practice.
@@cats0182 Agreed but statistically speaking them 2 being in a car going for the weekly shop is more dangerous as there are more car accidents compared to airline tradegies.
@PortuguesePirate99 That statistic is comforting for passengers but certainly not for pilots because theyre flying much more, yes the risk is lower on an individual flight but pilots are more likely to die in a plane crash.
@@mqxogames I still dont think thats the case as those figures are based on incidents per hours flown, most well developed countries have more car related fatalities than that compared to GLOBAL airline figures which puts into perspective of how skewed that data is. Also gotta remember how many people are assessed and cross check airlplanes and their procedures every flight aswell as techonological safety. Meanwhile you can have a DUI car driver or an adreanaline junkie decide to end innocent victims with nothing stopping them. So as per that a bus/taxi/truck driver would be more likely to die since they drive more lol
One of the very best cockpit videos I've seen. Utterly professional and entirely at one with their craft (and each other!). The superb views of Manhattan complemented the rest of the video perfectly.
I agree, but I wonder if they ever get confused and fly on the left side of the road instead of the right when they come to the US.
It makes me proud to be Irish watching these incredible pilots!
Both of them saying "gear up, please", no matter the accent i would immediately guess irish pilots as we , in ireland, have been brought up with it ingraved in our heads that we must always say please and thank you from when we were little. A great little thing to have etched into someone's brain.
Yes, " please and thank you" speak VOLUMES. THANK YOU!!! SHOULD THE word "speak" be speak OR "speaks"??
@@Karensanchez-ll7iuaccording to the cambridge dictionary, "speaks"
@@SkritzaIt's very simple. In this case, if you want the verb speak to be in the singular, then the form is "speaks"; when you want the verb to be in the plural, then the form is "speak". In this case, the phrase "The words 'please and thank you' speak volumes", and the plural form "speak" is correct, since the verb "speak" is the action associated with the plural "words". On the other hand, in the phrase "The word 'please' speaks volumes", the correct singular form of the verb is "speaks". (Like everything, there are lots of examples of this, and they can get complicated quickly enough. However, the same basic expectation is there: know whether you are using a verb in a singular context versus using it in a plural context.)
@@patrickobrien8851 you've too much time on your hands
As someone who has worked in travel for a few decades I have always learned "Please" and "Thank you" for the local language wherever I travel to. It's a small thing, but can go a long way in politeness in dealing with people.
I'm not sure what made this video so spectacular, but it was a joy to watch! Superlative!
Man and wife, not ofthen that happen...
Never have i ever heard 'gear up please' .. So polite , Great couple 😁
A really enjoyable video made by 2 incredibly engaging pilots who happen to be husband and wife - awesome !! Please make some more videos.
I love their excellent English pronunciation and of course their professionalism
I love the Aerlingus ones you've recorded, so interesting and the crew come across so friendly. The DUB-SFO is one of my all time favourites.
As an Irish citizen I really enjoyed this one
as a Boeing 767 i really enjoyed this one
@@and321now As someone who had toy planes as a child, I really enjoyed this one.
As an Irish citizen, I find you cringy.
Watching your approach then departure from EWR really thrills me as I live on the top floor of my building on West 106th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and from my apartment I have a wonderful view of planes going in and out of EWR. The next time you're here, maybe I'll be watching from the ground. Thanks so much. I love this stuff.
I love flying Aer Lingus, so class... Was 3 years abroad for one stint and my last leg was Aer Lingus home to Dublin, I nearly cried at how homely it fealt on boarding in London... the so Irish cabin crew, so dependably Irish pilots, the ham n cheese toasty and cup of tea... was home before the green green grass of home with fam n friends, n just Ireland- it hugs my soul like nowhere Ive ever lived... Oz, NZ, US, across Asia... The weather blows for much of the year but its just a solid beautiful place full of crakn folk.
How nice to also follow married pilots 💖✈!!!!! Love is in the air ❤❤!!!!! Thanks JP and Team for your effort!!!!! Have a nice weekend 💛💛 Xx........

Thank you, dear Just Planes team, for another great movie. Very professional pilots who understand the craft.🙂
Very welcome! Thank you
Vs the pilots that don’t understand the craft. 🤷🏻♂️
@@mcraft2240Those are the ones who crash as soon as there's a minor problem which they proceed to make ten times worse ✈️💥
I think this is my favourite JP! They are both so relaxed and work so well together.
Great stuff! One of the best streams I've seen.
Thank you so much!
Really enjoyed watching these two amazing Captains - Clodagh and her husband, Loved listening to your interaction. Ye were both so professional. Brilliant.

Nice vid. There is always an inherent risk when couples fly but this was done completely professionally. Kudos
Thank you
What a delightful couple you are - God Bless you and your children! Great video work - I'll be watching in the future.
How fantastic is this. They seem so lovely.
Absolutely delightful to witness this skilled couple in the cockpit. Their professionalism and seamless teamwork are evident, creating an impressive and pleasant flight experience. Nice view of the controls. Thanks for sharing.
On many levels the best JP post to date. I could go on and on….
Wow, I love y'all and more importantly I can tell that you have mad love for each other!❤
Wonderful couple, I could watch and listen to them make cookies. Highly entertaining thanks for posting.
Pretty cool. I have watched a bunch of Aer Lingus yt's and they really have there cockpit down very professional. I love the Irish accent. Nice landing Captain.
Wonderful! and amazing views of Manhattan on departure. What a totally wonderful pair of professionals!
This is beyond awesome. Lucky kids ;)
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
LOVE THE MARRIED PILOT TEAM, EXCELLENT, AND INTERESTING, THANK YOU, KINDLY 👍
It was a pleasure watching these pilots with a unique situation of being married to each other. They gave a great explanation of things and talked of organizing their schedules so each would be home 4 days while the other worked and then exchanging childcare duties for flying. This may be greathe for the kids but I believe actually flying together like this would make the marriage smoother. I really enjoyed watching these 2 and wish to see them fly together again soon. I don't believe you mentioned it but how often do you two get to fly together? I would definitely like to see another flight flight together again soon.
They're defo best friends too. class couple
Two captains so cool great video 😀😀
Excellent Video- The Air Canada and Aer Lingus videos you have done are some of your best. Very professional crews with these 2 airlines. Hope you video more of them
Absolutely fantastic. Thanks to both captains for sharing their insights. 😊
Loved this, definitely one of my favs ❤
Very interesting to know that the flight plans can be uploaded directly via a radio link. Saves all of the chances of a wrong entry and makes cockpit procedures so much easier.
Brilliant. Lovely watching the flight with a husband and wife too. Must be the best job in the world.
Thank you for sharing the life of Pilots. I have flown with Captains who were and are ladies. With my former airline the Captains who are women on the 767s. and 757s. Both were and still are great pilots.😊
Oh hey! Im the pilot that flew you guys in the helicopter during your layover in New York! cheers!
What's that in English?
Woh, what a treat, is it Paddy's day so soon. Ireland won today lads 👍 Enjoyed the video tremendously and much appreciated. Great team in action is always a bonus. Slainte ❤️
Fantastic crew! Thank you for the brilliant video ✈️
Very enjoyable flight, thank you. xx
This was a great one loved the professional ease of this couple at work awesome! great views of NYC.
Hooked on your amazing cockpit view content!!!! I’m always trying to peek into the cockpit during boarding and deplaning. The pilot’s view is exhilarating!🌅✈️🌄
I enjoyed the video very much waiting for your next video, thanks again
I like how they use the call sign "Shamrock" thats dope.
There's a big shamrock painted on the tail, too.
What a nice, unique and cool video.. 😊 Thank You 🙏
I really enjoyed this video. What a lovely couple, who just so happen to be married and captains. :)
Love it! Thank you as always ❤ beautiful
Very welcome! Thank you
Well done! Very enjoyable!! Thanks! 👍🏻
Thank you very much!
Incredible couple. Great video.
As an expat, I always check Flight Radar 24 to see what Aer Lingus Airbus might be flying near my home in Connecticut. Invariably, I’ll pop outside to see if I can spot it and give a wave. Always great fun.
"Look up, it's Aer Lingus!"
Really enjoyed the explanations of the instruments and route
Thanks, I loved every minute!
Brilliant! What a team.
Lovely couple. Doing the Shamrock proud. Great views of Manhattan at night on the return trip. I can't wait to have a flight on the A321NEO in February, not to NYC unfortunately , but to Lanzarote.
Very cool video. First I've seen with a married couple. TOP 5 on JP for me. Thanks!
Love your channel and can’t believe I’ve just discovered it. All the best to you from KLAS 😎🤙🏼
Great video with very professional pilots!

Such a cool story of a cool couple sharing the same passion!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks
Beautiful professional couple.
Thank you excellent video.
What a lovely couple and such a great watch! Is love to see another Flight with them at the "wheel"! Thank you!
They rarely fly together, that’s why they are home with the kids.
There two captains as well. So rarely together. They’d usually have a first officer with them
Just wonderfull thank you
Great job - super interesting and impressive!
Awesome couple!!!! I do plane spotting at EWR, let me in the Spring/Summer when we have more daylight and I will try and get some photos of our approach
A marriage made in the Heavens!
Well said 👌
Enjoyed your video. Well done and subscribed!
Great Stuff Cant wait to see you again cloe!
Impressive !! good looking couple ❤️
Good PR for Aer Lingus. A great crew on the flight deck. When I heard “flock of birds,” I got a scare.
I enjoy this couple flying .. :)
Excited here!!❤️🇵🇭

I enjoyed this watch
Pretty bloody fantastic.
Thanks!
Thank you very much 🙏
His voice is very soft and easy to listen to / the other voice Not so easy , Good video well done , You will never be called the Odd Couple , Thanks take care .
That’s stellar over controlling in calm winds. FBW is your friend.
To put it "plane and simple", it was purrfect! :) Two captains, but only one can sit on the left. ^^ I wonder if they argued over it off-screen, but I'm sure they didn't have to. Cute couple, lovely atmeowsphere. :)
What a great video
Precious!
What wonderful people what wonderful pilots.
