Putting palmer on the left is stupid, you are just forcing him into the team. Hes been amazing in the CAM position and you want to put him on the left and expect to get the same result. Unfortunately he'll be behind bellingham and foden. Foden will probably be put on the left and Bellingham in the CAM with rice and probably kobbie or Gallagher.

That makes perfect sense though. 3 solid CBs, mainoo and rice double pivot, then a super flexible front 5. That's how most teams line up in possession anyway. Saka and Bellingham can put in work defensively too. It's pretty doable.

Rory it's all well and good saying he must start for England but please tell me who misses out in the starting line up? While I do agree that he's had a great season, 9 penalties. Take those out and his season still very good but not player of the season contender. Especially when Saka and Foden exist. His competition for England ironically. He thrives as Chelsea's far and away best player and has to do most of it himself but it wouldn't be the same as that for England at international level

United fan here Rory. Englishman in Finland. We get all the PL games, Saturday 3pm included with Viaplay, so always a game on plus I have Palmer in my Fantasy team lol. As for the penalty incident, the word is petulance. Imagine that happening under Fergie or even Mourinho? 4-0 up...both are getting hooked and told to go straight to the shower and dealt with after the game. Potch just watched arms crossed and when he subbed the guy that thought he'd won the pen (he didn't, the Palmer foul was awarded the pen), he hugged him as he came off. These are like spoilt children that Potch is looking after as a nanny in a Mansion and the parents don't allow discipline. I also noticed they blanked him at full time! His own bloody 'team mates'? There's division there and Potch can't control it.

On current form would take a Palmer over a Saka. I do however think Saka is a good player for the team. He also gets tired. I think using Palmer as a first priority sub for Bellingham and Saka is a good idea.

Poch is not to blame for the penalty incident, he has made it clear that Palmer is the pen taker. Selfishness blinded madueke and Jackson. The quicker we can stamp the selfishness out of this team, the better we will be in the long run.
