The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Expansion Pass - Nintendo E3 2017

If you own The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Expansion Pass grants access to three new treasure chests, DLC Pack 1, “Master Trials,” and DLC Pack 2, “The Champions’ Ballad,” as they are released. DLC Pack 1 “Master Trials” includes: Trial of the Sword, Master Mode, Hero’s Path, Travel Medallion, Korok Mask and eight new armors. Master Trials - DLC Pack 1 will be available June 30, 2017.

    • Kevin Pham except WORSE, although since my stamina and health is at the max( got all Spirit Orbs and Divine Beasts containers) and the abilities of the champions, I expect for the Trial of the Sword to be easier than how most people would have difficulty with it

    • Eventide wasn't even hard, I just used my runes to do everything. I stunlocked the hinox by hitting it with a metal box using magnesis and cleared the last enemy camp using bombs and magnesis.

    • If you learn how to fight a lynel, fighting a red or silver one is basically the same except them having more health and dealing more damage. I hope the gold lynel is capable of more than just carrying another 1000hp on its life bar

    • I got saved by it once. I was in one of those skull bases after killing the bokoblins in it. I decided to sit by the fire and then the blood moon happened. I had no food so I am honeslty glad I decided to wear it.

    • Mr Martin, exactly. It had more of a weight to it then just progressing through the story to get it. And watching his health being sucked away made me realize how much power is behind the sword itself. It makes players feel like they truly earned the sword

    • Just use stasis on them and be good at dodging the easier attacks. It gets easy once you figure out their attack pattern and get used to it.

  • Yes! Pre-calamity Hyrule and more champion stories from before the calamity. Exactly what I hoped for. EDIT: Let's be honest. Nobody's building a new dungeon in the Hyrule we see now. It's definitely going to be in the past.

    • I think doing that would be a bad idea. Traditionally in RPG's, the moment you have the power of flight outside of temporary shiz (Revali's gale), the game loses its' "massiveness" that makes it such a good game.

    • Alph actually not only that. But all enemies grow one level higher, example: Red bokoblins are now Blue and Blue are now black Etc. Plus enemies can heal.

  • DLC pack one out at the end of the month and the champions ballad at the end of the year. Consider that DLC pack bought. My only question is, is the champions ballad a prequel about them or resurrecting them? You were going to inspect the elephant at the end of the game. I'm down for bringing the champions back, #MIPHALIVES2017!

  • I like that the story is still the BOTW story, not some random other thing. It's a good way to expand upon the story which many felt lacking in the first place. Also, I don't think it was their plan to have it lacking and release the better parts of the story after, I think if they do expand upon the story, it will be to answer complaints they heard.
