Two of the most technically proficient male singers of all time are Freddie Mercury (lead singer of Queen) and Dimash Kudaibergen. So when Dimash does a cover of a song Queen originally performed... you have to sit-up, and listen well.
Join professional opera singer Elizabeth Zharoff, as she listens to Dimash Kudaibergen for the first time, performing "The Show Must Go On" during the Singer competition in 2017.

But he was iconic and legendary, and anyone who tries a song like this should be commended. 😊 And my goodness!! It was clear from the start that he has a huge following and is respected. • Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than seven languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices like "Marcelito", Dimash has his own style and is the creator of the "Popera" he also has a very pleasant, humble and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, Tenor, Sopra no, against Tenor, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, whistle tone, reaching a D8 live at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from Venezuela, "Dears" Forever ❤️👍🏻 I Love You 😍

Очень часто смотрю и слушаю эту песню и удивляюсь насколько сильная и мощная она по звучанию,сколько много в ней трагизма и энергии!.. Под конец песни просто начинает сносить крышу!!... This man doesn't need an orchestra!-it has everything!.. All the colors of music play in his voice. I often watch and listen to this song and am surprised at how strong and powerful it sounds, how much tragedy and energy it has!.. At the end of the song just starts to blow the roof!!...

  • Hi Elizabeth! I Loved this performance and I Loved your reaction! I also Love how you color coordinate your Gray Top/Dress w/ Dimash's outfit. This is a really nice rendition of this song and Freddie Mercury would be Proud and Smiling! No one will Ever be Freddie but Dimash doesn't try to be as w/ all his songs, he just gives them his own unique twist (especially that last belted note!). Thank You, Elizabeth, for another Dimash Monday!! I hope You and Kirk have an Amazing Day!!! :-)

  • I'll leave vocal technique analysis to you, Elizabeth, since you know the subject well and I don't. I'm mostly following the *energy level* of Dimash's performances and the way he conveys emotions. His signature performance style - though occasionally he departs from it (Ogni Pietra, for example), is to start with quiet dynamics and build to a crescendo. If he feels kindly, he'll give us a denouement to let us back down gently (Passione), but if he wants to leave us hanging, he'll launch us emotionally high into the air and let us crash back to the ground on our own. This song makes me go "splat!" It's an emotional shocker. The emotional distance between quiet dynamics and crescendo is immense with Dimash. We think we've heard him ratchet up the dynamics as high as they will go, but no - he has another level beyond that, and another, and another... he makes my heart race. That isn't a good thing at my age! Freddie Mercury did that, too, but the dynamic distance Dimash travels is greater, I think. How does he manage to deliver seamless transitions between vocal techniques with no pauses to reset his vocal chords? His air is still flowing as he does it. I don't know how *anyone* can do that. You left 100,000 subscribers in the dust, Elizabeth, you're already a third of the way to the next hundred thousand. Take advantage! Your followers would like to hear *your* music, too. Cheers!

  • Personally, I couldn't care less about Dimash's English. When I hear him sing this song Freddie lives once more in my heart. I know Dimash put a lot of heart in singing this. You can hear the heartbreak in his voice. I gives me goose bumps.

  • I think Freddy Mercury would be very happy, because he liked opera, and seeing a song sung by a singer trained in the scholar, he would love it. And this song is beautiful in the voice of Dimash kudaibergen

  • Dimash's voice is so ethereal. Love his many vocal tricks and techniques. **ouch, knees** Ghost wants to leave my body when he hits those high notes. This guy isn't human... • TRO LEX version of his surname you mentioned is in Russian language, in Qazaq language his family name is spelled and pronounced as Qudaibergen or Qudaibergenuly (I don’t know which one he prefers), Q is specific K for Qazaq language.
