Every Monday, Nick and I race until one of us wins 7 FlounderFest events. There will always be a punishment for the player who doesn't get to 7 decided at the beginning of every season! Each week is a completely new set of rules!

Haha I knew you guys were there in Maple but I've literally never done that glitch. Treeway is such an easy track to evade the seeker due to the shape of the road, that's why I didn't catch anyone for a long time lol.

These minigame modes are like battle mode but SO MUCH BETTER! Imagine if Mario Kart 10 had all these features, plus megaclouds, the bike physics from MKWii, and the kart physics from MK8. It would be the greatest game ever.
Maybe at the end of seasons. But episode 13 should always be 1v1
Honestly we could also throw in Coin Runners and Ballon Battle just because its there
I understood the score rules: since it's 5 minutes, you always get one point but after 30 seconds you get another, 10 points in total if you survive for at least 4 mins and 30 secs. If you don't get caught then you gain all 15 points.
They should change it to 15 second intervals because of the "zombie" aspect causing everyone to get caught at the same time
@@DoritoTime I think the point system should just be based on your order of being caught, but you can get one additional point for every person you catch after you become a seeker. The initial seeker's points should also be based on how many people the seeker himself/herself catches. But anyways, super great fun to watch!
@@LuigiLuigi728 they are still developing this, it's still a beta version btw, so if you want some changes you should say it to the developer or someone who's collaborating with him
For the initial seeker, it's the number of people you catch (or 15 if you get them all).

Because of how this mod works, a Mario Kart DS style battle mode (last man standing wins) mod could definitely be a possible thing, and I’d love to see that happen
The last man standing should at least get some sort of bonus. Like infinite mushrooms or something.

Yes, shifts the meta away from difficult exploits (like hiding on the rock hop on Grumble) and from camping by boosting off
@@DoritoTime i don't think it would shift the meta from the former as much as it would add a layer of risk (the same that comes from doing shortcuts in typical races)
That will make the seeker's job even easier than it already is.
Maybe the seeker should get less points the longer they take, maybe 15pts for the first minute and -1 point every 30 seconds
Day 8: Flounderfest idea: Troy and Nick pick a team each for a 6v6. Nick and Troy both have separate discord calls for their teams and play like a normal 6v6. It would give a reason to watch both videos because it would be very different

Honestly the instant respawn seems a bit broken in this game mode Maybe something like not being able to accerate for x amount of frames would balance it out Sorta like Shine Thief in 8D where the person who has the shine can't move for a few frames once they've been hit
