    • Yup 😊 but like Anna Rudolf said to all women chess player, even your opponent is ahead of rating to you don't accept a Draw if you think your opponent is about to lose by check mate, because if you accept a draw that 1/2 1/2 if you win you get 1 point and your opponent is 0. Also that is a tournament so don't accept a draw, accept a draw if you think that is draw.

    @ppvsonicspy@ppvsonicspy2 жыл бұрын
    • When I as a kid when my opponent made a mistake and I let them or even asked them to redo the move, it wasn't out of any great kindness but because it wouldn't be fun unless they actually got to take the move back because I knew I was better than my opponent and I didn't want the game to be over yet but I knew I'd still 100 percent win anyway. Now I was never good enough to consistently beat any adults I played against but I would have done the same unless my opponent intimidated me. as a now 21 yr old pretty much the most humiliating thing you can do to me as a kid playing against me is to tell me it's ok that you made a bad move like 4 moves in and blundered a piece because in my mind that's my opponent telling me that in 4 moves I allready figured out you are no threat to me. Also the girl definitely if she is playing at this level unless she is one of these self taught wonder kids that idk trained against her parents or smth definitely knows the exact rules on touching pieces. Another potential reason she might have let him is related to this: In primary school tournament chess something like your opponent claiming that no they didn't touch their piece (although they clearly did) or that they were "Just adjusting" is pretty regular and the amount of effort you have to go to to get something like this resolved in school tournaments is not worth the effort most of the time (there isn't enough arbiters per school kids in my experience) and if she plays primary school tournaments she wipes the floor with them (not blundering and playing something resembling an opening will help you crush most school tournaments and she seems like she would abuse the kid that wins school tournaments because he doesn't blunder) You can tell she's not being kind tho because she doesn't accept Mike's Resignation and forces him to move his Queen back to not die to checkmate right at the end haha
