11 year old played beyond her rating and very solid against experienced player. Very heart-warming video
What? Yes, but she tried to cheat.
@divergentlife493 No she didn't. She's 11. Good grief.
she was in a time scramble, it wasn't her trying to cheat..@@divergentlife493
She 100% tried to cheat, you should play board games with some kids to remind yourself of what it’s like
@@dykaplan you should get off the internet so you can remind yourself what it's like. If you actually look at her body language you can tell she's stressed and isn't thinking, she didn't try to do it.
Anna … you were so kind to your Young opponent! Thank you for exemplifying such great sportsmanship and setting an example for all to recognize and honor! ❤️❤️❤️
she is anyway a very nobel young lady beside her talent.
yes... it's true!!!
I watched to see a kid to win, but instead its just a egotrip for the bimbo. Fuck you Anna!
a shining example how we all should behave...
Anna is super nice to everyone regardless of age. I think that also has to do with the popularity of her channel.
She played a great game!! 👏

I feel like the majority of Ann video either her or her opponent will be stunned Can we appreciate how positive attuite Anna has and respectful she is to her opponents.
Almost like she knows she'll be in a KZhead video, right? 😂
Stunned, or stoned?
the fact that kids can play against adults is one of the best aspects of chess. my 7 year old son played and best an 83 year old in a 2.5 hr classical game recently. my lad was the 2nd 7 year old to play that man in a row. he was so nice to all the juniors
Whenever I play someone rated less, or younger than me and unrated, I play left-handed to give an advantage.
@@user-dm4zx4fm2w I'm left handed and a good chess player. In fact I'm ambidextrous at tennis and table tennis because of this. Maybe I should play right handed from now on :-)
@@user-dm4zx4fm2wOh wow that’s a really neat idea! Thank you for sharing!
If you can't beat an 83-year-old even at 7 . . .
Yeah, when I was 14 I got to play William Lombardy (Bobby Fischer's second) at the Manhattan Chess Club. It was a great thrill, but I remember his pieces kept advancing like a steamroller, or a slow-motion avalanche. It was all over in around 30 moves.
Great video. Please show the rest of the tournament as well.
This is the type of heart warming chess content that is really enjoyable to watch. Many other creators don't have this type of video is their repertoire of video types.
Dude what? There's no way she'll be 1500 for long. I'm not some chess expert but the way she had her principles down and kind of observing her thought process, especially with the bishop take was pretty impressive. And she's ELEVEN, ffs. I hope chess is a passion of hers and she'll continue to grow, because this one right there is probably a very high rated player in the making. I can't wait to see her like 10 years from now.
Well good luck recognizing her.
She'll probably meet a boy and forget all about chess. Chess doesn't pay the bills.
People like you are so weird and creepy
Not with a face like that, would give me nightmares.
Love your kindness towards your opponents in literally every of your videos, it is very heartwarming ❤️
Ur r very nice to let her correct her mistake!
Yes please more rounds of this tournament! I love the way you breakdown games. It is so chill and relaxing.
Yes please, I want to see more games from the tournament in London. Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮
Hi, Anna. I really love this narration format you've been using. It helps me follow and understand the game better. That young lady gave you a run for the money. It seemed to me that guy with the purple button down shirt seemed to like you. He kept looking over at you with the biggest smile on his face. BTW, yes. I, for one, would love to see the other games you played at this tournament if you are willing to put the time into it.
Please. Who would not like Anna? Purple button down shirt or not.
@@griffrc Really tho. Smokin hot blonde that can kick your @ss at chess ...and she's Swedish! What more could you ask for? There's so much she could teach me. Like chess... and Swedish and how to not be an @sshole.... I'm kidding. I'm just trying to be funny. I totally respect Anna for her amazing chess skills. I barely notice how attractive she is. I'm totally focused on the chess. ...Totally!
Yep he clearly has the hots for her, it even more obvious in his and Anna game. She is completely oblivious or at least act like it.
I'd love to see more of the tournament. Your narration is both funny and informative at the same time. I could watch them all day!
The guy sitting diagonal to Anna had a crush on her. You can tell by the way he is looking at her.
Nothing peculiar. Anna IS quite pretty, especially in this male dominated milieu. And she of course knows it, even if she isnt playing on it.
I guess everyone here has some sort of crush on Anna, she is very likable, charming, intelligent, funny and cute.
@@Dakhaos-ou812 yes, she is. Full of energy and positivity. Beautiful inside and out.
Fantastic sportsmanship by you there Anna. The young lady played well and would most likely wipe the floor with me. I think Rapid is the best form of chess. Allows a little thinking time without being rediculous like classic and does not lead to stupid end games where each player is trying to win by time out that almost always happens in Blitz.
Really loved the commentary/insights into each move & position!
16:55 that 6 year old in the chess tournament 🤯
Her seat is so low 😂 her view must be awful
I hope she won the wine
?
Oh wow. Didn't notice that. 😂 That is way to cool. And a bit scary. How good is that one going to be at age 25.
Im not there as yet. In the self beginning before the round started there WAS a child visible, playing, My guess is its a visitor, playing for fun at an unoccupied table...
These are so fun to watch! We would love to see more of the tournament! ❤
Yes more of these London tournaments please. A great game, love the video style, voice over explanation, more rounds please Anna 😀
Really enjoy this format and would love to see the rest of the tournament.
I loved this video. great seeing more relaxed and informal tournaments full of people that just love chess and are there to have a good time!
Of course we want to see more videos of the tournament! Always a delight watching Anna's chess videos.
Yes please! More rounds from this tournament! I will watch them all! 😅🙌🏻
Yes, I would really enjoy seeing more rounds of this tournament :) Thank you Anna for your channel
More rounds please, and definitely the last game shot in the video with you and the chap in the purple t-shirt 'having fun'.
Heartwarming video! And YES please show us more from the tournament! Looks like fun 🙂
This format is awesome
I love how you were kind to her while at the same time treating her with the respect of not holding back even a bit - you're a class act.
Would enjoy seeing more rounds of this tournament. Thank you for the detailed narrative of your moves.
Anna, you became my favorite chess content creator The commentary makes the game so much fun to watch At the end of the video, the way you talked to the kid you reminded me of pia
Love how you played and how you encouraged you opponent. She will be formidable down the line.
I can't believe you are only 11
lmao
No, I'm AO...? wot...( In My Ancient Outfit, really..@@Seqll
I would have thought that Her parents would O.K. the vid(not blurred ID).
😂
@@toaster4693Now I'm thinking; it may be a British protocol. Other Youngsters playing Anna (chess) were prolly in U.S.A.
Love this format so definitely more of the tournament!
Really helpful to hear your thoughts as you play. And yes, the other games too please! The future of chess is in good hands here
Would like to see more from this tournament as those taking part seem very normal and friendly! Can’t believe you were sitting outside at this time of year?
It has obviously been played months ago, during summer most probably as everybody is wearing t shirts or light outfits, which in London is strictly impossible passed mid September
@@KimJongStin I was thinking the same thing. Sitting outside in London in February is not something normal people do, haha! She must've had this video in a backlog.
the young man with the button up shirt couldnt take his eyes off you 😂
which one?
@@user-fy9lv9qs7v I came back hours later after reading this comment of yours, to tell you, considering this is a chess video: you Sir are quite a genius.
he wanted to be her night.
after seeing her latest video with him, it all made sense haha
Loved your commentary Anna. Love these videos where you are playing and teaching too.
i really adore your games, and Your way to describe them. More videos of this London tournament, please!
Glad these girls have great role models like you, im sure it motivates them to keep playing their best. Could not help but laugh seeing the little kid who could barely reach across the board playing in the back as you were saying the prize was a bottle of wine 😅
Anna. You are Great for the game. Watched many of your videos and your ability to converse and be kind to every one of your opponents regardless of rank and/or age/ or nationality is amazing. Keep Smiling !!
17:08 not me thing that was levy in the background drinking out of the mug😭
I love listening to your descriptions - it's a form of storytelling, and you do it very well, Anna.
I just commented with the same sentiment. Aside from giving me great advice on chess, I find many of these videos to be very relaxing. Whenever my anxiety's bad, there are a handful of channels I like to put on. This is one of them.
More please! Love your vids and how you treat your opponents.
Yes ! Please more rounds this was lovely
so heartwarming and always encouraging. Thanks Anna.
I think the child played very well, I’m proud of her, and proud of you for working with her so well.
Would love to see more games from the tournament and enjoy your annotations.
really appreciate your site. you are so kind. and fun. And good for me to watch you play these quick games. thanks for sharing !😊
Thanks for posting that game, I enjoyed it very much. If you post the rest of the games from the tournament, I'll certainly watch them!
that was awesome love when you explain your moves. so lets see more of the tournament.
The quality of these streams is amazing. Well done, Anna.
Please share more videos like this! I love watching these😊
You are an example of good behavior, kindness and good spirit. It is a pleasure to follow your videos and matches. What is the song playing in the backround early in the video? Sounds amazing :)
I just love your joy when you can help chess advance in a girls mind. I am sure she was sad she lost, but happy of playing so well against you. She is a thinker like you Anna, hopefully she can learn how to keep her opponents from using time against her. If she continues she will be very good at match chess. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤❤
Your opponent played really well for a 1500.👏Would love to see the other games.
That was so good to see and hear all your thoughts and strategy thinking in a much more relaxed setting. The younger girl is super aware and will develop into the big tournaments at her pace more than likely very soon. Please show the rest of the games that day, I learned a few things in this one Thanks for sharing.
Love seeing more matches from this location.
very gracious and kind as always Anna :)
I'd love to see more videos of the event!
Definitely like to see more on this tournament.. 👍
Yes, of course we want more videos from this tournament. But what a wonderful game Maya played. I was barely learning chess at 11 years old.
First time I've watched any of your videos. But really enjoyed hearing how you think on every move you make (and your opponents move). As a person who only played chess during lunch breaks at school eons ago, it was interesting to see how different our thinking is. Also love your smile, reminds me of my niece
I love watching these videos because Im just learning and I think Anna has a great personality
The young lady will be a force down the road! She’s awesome!
Great video and so entertaining and encouraging seeing the talent coming through.
i m not a chess player, and i really love when you explain each move. It helps following.
Please more rounds, nice to see ya always playing ;-)
Interesting sound. Neither the original sound nor an analysis with different possible moves, but music and describing the moment.
Of course I want to see more rounds of this tournament!
Great video and thank you for showing her some grace so as not to ruin her passion for chess. If only more people had your attitude!
It'd be cool to see more rounds in this tournament
I enjoy how gracious you are when you play. Losing is just as important as winning-thank you!
Yes would love to see more!!
Well done - I enjoyed (watching) that. And it's good to see kids involved
YOU WERE SO NICE TO HER, GOOD JOB!! IT'S GREAT HOW YOU EXPLAIN YOUR MOVES.
CAPS LOCK CAN BE TURNED OFF.
¡TU ERES UN PATO, DEJAME QUIERDO!
Win or Lose, we do want to see more of this Tournament plus the Full Commentary.
She played very well. It will be great to see other match in this tournament.
I would love to see the rest of the games!
Fascinating ! Thanks Anna. Yes we want to see more games
do add more videos..love your content
She is amazing player and will be better with this experience. Lovely video and wish her all the best
Now we need to hear the little girl's commentary :) Great job, Anna!
Would love to see more games from this tournament.
yes please show the rest of the tournament
Can we count how many times the guy in the blue shirt was staring at Anna hahahahah
He was handsome though
They should have done a chess date. That would be a fun video
In the end they had conversation And They had a match later too
@@renekeystone5571 he was hoping for a chess mate.
Loving all and each of your videos, Anna! ❤
Yes, I would love to see the other games. It’s fun to see a “common person “ play someone as accomplished as you.
I would love to see some more games Annalysed, this was a very interesting one !
that was a really nice interaction between you and your young opponent
yes more videos of this tournament please :)
Yep...enjoyed that... Please show rest of tournament...
I was smiling the entire time while I was watching this video, thank you, Anna!XD And YES, I'd actually like to see the rest of your games from this ''mini tournament''. IMHO chess on club level can also be interesting and instructive, not only the top 10/12 GMs tournaments. It is up to you how many fames you'd show, you can try to do 2 in 1 vid, or just upload 1 game/week, IDK, you decide, but YES AGAIN, I AM interested, and I home more ppl here are! Have a nice one, everybody! Cya in your next vid @Anna, or maybe online. Have fun! I am so glad to see you travelling and visiting different places, and playing different tournaments, again! C-19 was such a bummer, wasn't it! Oh, I also know this club, I spend a couple years in it as a student, I was a regular there. And if I knew you're coming to London I'd definitely check that event, and come to you, just to say "Hi!"'... Maybe next time!;) Ta ta!
P.S. Excuse me, I just watched your 2nd Round vid... N1!:D
I wanna see the rest of the rounds!!
My first time on your channel, and i really enjoyed it. You are very classy lady with great humor. Such a lovely woman.
Definitely wanna see more, please. Thank you.
i would love to watch all of the games you played in the tournament!
I enjoyed watching this game. I hope you show the rest of the games in this tournament. How many games were there?
I’d like to see more rounds. I like seeing your thoughts behind the moves in the rapid time control.
Please show some of your other noteworthy games in the tournament. Cheers
