    • I agree with this, but cant help to feel like people like this aren't really and fairly appreciated... it's always a thank you and forget you a week later. That's why I feel its only fair to give donators write offs. In poor countries a donation like this would have you be a family friend for life, but internet and modern money makes ppl feel this stuff is more normal and becomes undervalued.

    • It was a solid vehicle with just regular maintenance needs aside from the turbo replacement. $15,000 is a major overstatement, but I don't think that matters. What matters is that the family got a fantastic, reliable car when they needed it most.

    • @@mravocadoman2904 I spent $1200 on my first car, it was a 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege, had a turbo and was a 5 speed, worst and best decision I ever made and wouldn't do it differently other than keeping the car because I could've fixed it up and it'd be a race car right now. Im 21 now, I got that car when I was 16, I've had 4 cars since so ig for long term ownership Im not the best for advice but most of my cars have had 190k+ miles except the protege which was at like 136-7k, just had boost issues and would have electrical surges; after replacing the clutch and transmission that I blew doing a burnout at school, lighting everything up bright as shit and popping headlights/taillights when hitting boost it was a shit show. Repent from your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior in a prayer and also ask for the HOLY SPIRIT to come into you in that same prayer as well. You could come to Jesus Christ as you are, but once you accept Him, you have to become new, change, and be born again, and also turn away from your wicked ways. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. God Bless You.

That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionises the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and i don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. i will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? Im struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathising her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42.I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was at 1:12. • I doubt he will see this, but something I never see any mechanic do that at least I believe would be beneficial, is push the old bad fluids out like the old oil, transmission fluid, etc. A perfect example of why you'd wanna do this is right in this video when he checks the transmission fill level, a bunch of old black gunky liquid comes out, which otherwise would've been left in there if he hadn't checked the fill level, and even after doing so there is still likely a lot of the old fluid in there. Now I'm not saying to, for example, to do a double oil change just to clear out the old liquid, but what I do is let the oil drain all the way, then add in a bit of new oil with the drain still open so the new oil can somewhat wash out the rest of the old stuff. Just curious on others thoughts on this

    • You can do a complete transmission flush but it involves removing the pan or doing several transmission oil changes. I think for an introductory prep of a car for someone this is perfectly adequate.

      @Cuandoman@CuandomanАй бұрын
    • In automatic transmissions, you should not do a complete change until u do it with machine esp in a high mileage car as the small ports for fluid movement might get blocked dye to debris The better way is to do a change which dilutes older dirty fluid while not doing a very drastic change altogether The new fluid will still do job much Better For a complete flush, u can change fluids 3 to 4 times and still some old dirty fluid will remain@@pcmasterracetechgod5660

  • I watched this from beginning to end. I rarely comment but this whole video not only informed me on how to better maintain my own car after 7 years of driving, but moved me to see the heart and intention behind making it and for donating to an amazing charity. Thank you Chris for staying true to your “why” behind this channel and not letting money or fame change your morals and values. Although I don’t know you personally, from one Chris to another, may God continue to bless you and your family bro❤️‍🔥🙏🏼

  • Hey mechanic here. Beautiful video very clear with no bs. I'd link this to a friend asking me about a new car. I am also super appreciative of what you are doing for that family. Hope all goes well and that car lasts them a lifetime! Just want to correct a few minor things that aren't too big of a deal just might be some money savers for a select unlucky few. When bleeding brakes be very careful with the bleeder valve. If possible have a helper pump the brake petal a few times, hold it while you loosen the bleeder valve and let it push out fluid, then tighten the valve and repeat. As you said make sure the master cylinder is always full. The reason is that even though it is more tedious you don't want air coming back in as the petal is released. On many cars, especially newer (2013 is newer), a lot of them will have electronic modules and if they happen to get air into them you will need to take it into a shop to get it electronically bled, not worth the extra bill. Also, on transmission fluid: If the car has many miles on it without ever being changed, such as this one with 130k, it is better to leave the fluid in as some of the material from a worn transmission helps maintain friction; getting rid of that material can cause slippage (More like reveal). You're better off to leave old fluid in and get as much extra life out of it as you can before needing it rebuilt or replaced (Avoid cars with a CVT please!! They are never rebuilt and only replaced!!). Also check your fluid every 10k-ish miles to be sure it doesn't start becoming sludge-like. If it starts showing signs, do a drain and fill and hope it wasn't worn from previous ownership. If you have a record of the fluid being changed every 30-50k miles or you bought a used car at like 60-80k a drain and fill should be okay. However most definitely NEVER flush a transmission as the same reasoning applies, no matter how many miles you have. Flushing is basically multiple changes and will get rid of more and more of that friction material. This is not to say that if you buy a new or well maintained car you can just leave the transmission fluid in there though, again change it every 30-50k miles, earlier the better, and still get it checked and serviced for any problems like noise and slippage when its gone a long time and you opt to not change fluid. Hope this helps anyone who is about to purchase their first car! Best of luck :)

    • Why would I ever leave fluid in a tranny that has metal in it. If the shavings are “helping with friction” then the trans is junk.

    • Great read through there, I just thought I'd add one thing, when replacing brakes with brand new pads & hardwear, it's quite important that when you're pushing the caliper piston/pistons back all the way to accommodate for maximum clearance for the brand new pads it's important to loosen the bleed valve, not only will it make it 10x easier to push back the piston of the caliper but most importantly if the master is already full its likely that you could overfill the master and in some cases in newer cars this can be a very expensive fix, just a little something I thought I'd add especially for when installing brand new pads & rotors Cheers!!

    • That's also why I never replace oil or seals. New oil has detergents that clean out "earned build-up". Just let 'em go until it's time to replace the whole shebang.

    • yea agreed on the trans when I saw it was black I knew that wasn't going to be good.

    • So you're wrong and that's an old myth to get money from replacing transmissions. Most modern transmissions have a filter to pick out the solid matter so it's not going into the valve body or clutch packs anyway. The fluid is dark because it's LV. Also he ran the tube up so the air goes up and fluid stays low to go back into the caliper if needed.
