Knowledge/Learning especially in it's practical application are simple, just like following instructions. Innovation is real gauge of intellect, but that doesn't mean Knowledge is any less important. It doesn't matter how you gain the knowledge. How is this different to reading an instruction manual, if anything is it not better? • @@Jerrypkmonkey I am a bmw dealer tech. We do everything except full engine rebuild. I am in the east coast of Canada and the pay is not great compared to other trades. It's the least payed trade out there..I went into this field because I love Cars but this trade is killing the passion, after almost doing it for 10 years. If you love cars, don't make this as your profession. Just my 2 cents.

      @ryder2shae@ryder2shae5 ай бұрын
    • @@Jerrypkmonkey Modern tech is a rough job, you need to spend a ton of money on tools, and for a dealer most stuff is billed at a set time. So you're only making money if you're cranking through lots of jobs faster than the "recommended" time. The typical old school "diagnosis" has been replaced by learning how to read and operate scan tools and using a computer. In my opinion the trade is being killed by the manufacturers making more and more expensive cars, the cost for parts and getting your car serviced is going through the roof... but the technician pay is staying the same. In this (and all of Sreten's) video you can see what many technicians dream of, doing jobs the "right" way, with quality parts and taking time to ensure perfection. But in a flat rate world, working like this means barely staying afloat, and that's if the customer is even convinced they actually want to spend the money to have it done right. I deeply respect all the guys keeping our vehicles safe and on the road in this day and age

  • What a time to be alive! To be able to watch this kind of video online for free is absolutely amazing. Thank you for making this vid! I had no idea how intricate an engine can be. This is truly a marvel of technology and your skills are well tuned and so advanced that you not only assemble it but also describe it so we can understand. I'm now motivated to finally put some vaseline in the fan of themy car's A/C so it stops squeaking.
