I think it's too cheap. FOTO and Windtalker are priced at 1850 and 1820, and even Old Haas' Claws‘ price is 1810. As a non-component item, the price is really cheap.

@@RottenWater by that logic, stacking 6 Holy Crystal is the best build for all mages since it gives so much Magic Power. You can't just look at the item from the stats they provide. Don't believe me? Well, without counting the passive, Holy Crystal should've only provide 150 Magic Power because Mystery Codex costs 300 Gold for 15 Magic Power.

Sky piercer is anything BUT balanced. ML’s damage pool is too high for it to fit in the current item slots as it is. Believe it or not, that 5-10% is a huge deal, especially considering that even the strongest damage sponge tank can only absorb damage for 10 seconds or less. If ML’s attack items have less attack power and the damage scaling is lessened for the majority of heroes, I can say that this item can fit. But here we are.

They should add more limitation such as: - This item only work when you use jungle blessing. - Add cooldown for the effect. 5 seconds after leaving a battle to prevent easy savage.

The damage in this game is too high for that item to be balanced. We got Tanks in this game that we cannot really call as a Tank since they get melted in at least 5 seconds.

AHEM COLLECTOR AHEM Moonton is only copying what WildRift has without any idea about the impact that it will do in ML. If they're really going to add this item, then they need to do a lot of balancing or this will get used and abused by anyone. Wildrift did an amazing job at balancing the game to the point that the Collector ("Skypiercer" in WR) can only be used well by a few champs. In terms of balancing the game well, I don't think ML has that. Therefore, by adding this item, it will definitely bring chaos in the game.
Moonton forgot that ML has Insane high burst damage + high damage scaling they really thought it was a good idea to make a "collector" version in a game that u can get one shot on lvl4 hahahahaha
Moonton forgot that many heroes with demon hunter build can burst any enemy to 10% HP in one or two seconds, including tanks. Absolutely broken item.

I now am really excited about the new update. Can't wait to overpower other Indonesian by simply just reading. I love this game, but well i do sometimes hate it when i meet a dead weight on my team. (I once had a 100% WR Masha and it now goes to 95% after meeting a trash jungler. I hate that person) Still tho, i do hope this item can only be exclusive to assassin and would have something similar that prevents other roles to use it like Waraxe and WoN. Last time i played Mino with Lance on my team, the man got obliterated in late game by the enemy's tank jungler. He was a good guy that never trash talk to any of the team and is skilled af. I can only watch as he gets killed over and over due to having low damage against these tank junglers. (I can heal but it does nothing, and yes i buy that green lantern thingy)

This Item passive should be changed to be only triggered after dealing burst damage or alse it will much better on MMs and fighters than assassins (which is this item was made for)

The devs should make the passive exclusive for assassins only to prevent other roles from abusing it. After all, this item was meant for assassins.

Every role would pretty much abuse its passive especially marksmen like karrie, wanwan, claude etc. who are not only pretty hard to kill (if the player is THAT good) but can also melt other heroes (even tanks) in just a matter of seconds in the late game.

They should add some restrictions / conditions to trigger the passive of the item. Otherwise its too broken in my opinion, matches would just end quickly with no thrill or excitement because a hero within the team just obliterated the opposing team by its passive.

Ngl for this item is not balance but broken as heck. It does have any cooldown and I think the devs does not realize that it is too cheap and 5-10% hp is big a deal. I am roam user and sometimes in.a clash I am left with less than 5% hp. This item indirectly nerfs every tank in the game. This is only my opinion and I hope that the devs really consider the effects that this item will bring in the game.

Basically who could abuse this item? Strong early game heroes could just buy this without hesitation, saber, jawhead, Natalia, Alpha, Yuzhong, Paquito, Arlott, and the list go on, but the most nightmare would be the current meta queen, Masha. These heroes basically just deal insane damage when using skill, when your hp are low enough, just use a basic attack then you would just vanished like non exist

I think the only way to have this be a fair item is if it wasn’t true damage, or lessen the percentage further (stills goes up to 10%, but starts off at like 3-4%)

This is pretty much good for Percentage HP damage dealers, Burst, Enemies that have so much shielding when you have an esmeralda in your team, against HP based durability like Terizla or that one Gusion with 1 HP with ultimate finesse that managed to kill atleast 3 of your teammates before running away. Or in short, everyone. All for the price of 1500 gold, good job moonton.

Great Item for Chou, with his Tank Roam being nerfed heavily he has less value as a dmg sponge. Maybe he can join with the other dmg roamer with this.

As a Natalia main I'll 100% understand the help of the Sky Piercer passive to her.
With this, I think I'll finally build DHS with Sun. hahahaha My usual go to build with him are any: high-def, high-hp, high-atk, high-crit, and any mix among these 4. I don't really like the atk speed build on Sun due to the populariy of Dominance Ice and his "counters" like xBorg, Yu Zhong, and other meta exp laners. I can only go against his counters with tank or semi-tank, high CDR build. One good thing with the atk speed build though, even against his counters, is that if enemies focus on chasing you, at some point, they will leave you because the clones reduce their HP so much while running around. hahaha Now, imagine, each clone procs the Sky Piercer's passive while the original is just being a monke.

My Johnson mage will be tweaking with this item, like hell yeah. For me, it should be atleast 2k+ with that painful ass passive, like make it 2300 - 2500 just to atleast make the whole thing less abusive, like 10% HP together with dire hit roamers will make it very unbalanced in the first place, i recommend them to nerf it now before it's even released in the original server, because for all the hell i care, it's too gosh darn cheap for an execution item, even the hardest of the tanks doesn't last too long against late game marksmans, so why give it such a cheap ass price, where is the high risk high reward concept of this item, it turned into nothing like that way it supposed to be.
felt like sky piercer need a cd on the item itself because being able to buy a execute spell is bonkers not to mention it have like infinite range (dk if someone test it's range yet) and no cooldowns. if add cd it can give enemy a fighting chance within the item cd instead of having your team getting executed left and right within like 1.5 s

considering chou isnt an optimal pick for the roam role due to the tank item nerfs, i think SP will work well for him. SP can substitute endless battle and chou can just build penetration items early and get the benefits of SP early too

I think removing WoN is good to balance out mm. The patch doesn't feel assassin being the dominant. It would be mm becoming more broken. Utility junglers + support roamers will still be above core junglers (just a bit) in the game even with the anri-tank patches ans this combo picks gives mm even more absurd protection aside from WoN.
They need a cooldown for this, a 20-30 sec cd would do just to make this thing balanced

I would say the cost is the main problem with the item. It's too cheap for what the item does. Remember, most of the value of an item is from ther passives, not the stats.
