The only change I would make on the item is for it to give paltry stats. Perhaps useless stats. As in, make the item so that whoever is going to buy it thinks about it twice. "Can my hero make good use of the passive?" "Do I gain any benefit even without the passive?" "Do I need any defense/offense item before this?" If you're team is ahead by a landslide, sure. Everyone should buy this item to make it easier to kill the players... However, without any real power stat, jungling would be difficult. Pushing turrets becomes difficult. Even with the massive lead, one mistake is all it takes for the enemy to gain a massive amount of gold from a shut down. I see this item more as a late game/game ender item. Reason being you and your team are in that final push or in the middle of a decisive team fight. UNLESS you guys have a massive lead, what are you going to do with that item? It's an instant execute, sure. The only problem is the enemy for some reason have an immortal Estes with them and no one prioritized anti heal. GG Edit: Maybe someone already thought about this, but what if (along with whatever nerf) they add a condition that only 1 team member can have the item ? Like with Floryn and her passive.
actually no,i see huge potential for heroes like claude, that deals insane dmg when enemy is full hp, but when they low, u see his damage lacking, and also the fact that claude atacks many times u can make it worth, simce most of the time ur intial dmg is already enough to finish, but with claude its not the case
its more like an early snowball than a late game core item. the passive generally allows you to have an advantage during early fights and ganks. it still would be relevant late game as long as you have the stacks, but enemies probably will have something to counter it like a defence item. item needs more tweaking or else everyone is gonna buy it🤣
I personaly against the fact that Trinity mm or any AoE hero can trigger the item. Sure, u cant execute 5 people at the same time, but losing a 5v1 just because one item difference is not a good balance. Besides, isnt this item is for assasins? They made an item with restriction before so i hope they also give it to this item. This technically shrinks the effective max hp of enemy hereos to 95% up to max of 88%. Starting at 5% is OP and kinda disgusting even in paper. Also, considering its generic attributes of adaptive damage and movespeed (not to mention its low cost), any damage dealers in a team can easily build this just to increase security of killing enemy heroes during gank or clash. Even its trigger-check of just dealing any damage is very convenient. I know that they want to give more opportunity for "kill first" approach in the game full of "tanky/sustain" strats and this is just testing phase, but if I were to balance it out, I think they might want to start it at 1% and have a stackability of adding 1 stack per kill and minus 1 stack per death (at max 9 stacks), with additional 1% treshhold per stack. With this, it starts with small 'killing security' attribute of 1% max-hp treshhold but it improves and rewards those wielders with good kill-death ratio overtime wherein kills must be greater than deaths, to make it to a maximum of 10% treshhold. Yes, this kind of items granting insta kill effects lessens those 1% HP outplays and survive moments, but it improve game angles and variety. Not everyone in the team is expected to have a good kill-death ratio, so this balanced effect would limit this item to be used by 'kill first' builds heroes. Effectively, it would warp the teamfight of the team who has someone build this item coz they need to 'give' the kills to the wielder to improve its treshhold, thus making more of a 'funnel' focused type of strat. Conversely, the enemy team would know someone who has this and they would prioritize killing such hero wielding this item so as to dull/minimize the effect of the item to just 1% treshhold. With this, they might want to improve the items base attributes to 80 adaptive damage and 25 movespeed with an increased cost to around 2000+. It would be a good starting item but it needs more investment cost. If we make this item like this, its really like a high-risk, high-reward item and would even dictate the flow of the game.
1 percent would make this item not be bought in early game as its too high risk without stats,forcing the item to be bought at late game,where above glory there's not really such thing as late game its just one war end so u can't really stack up the passive,12percent might be a bit high but starting at 1 percent it too low,yes fix the base stats u have a good point.This item would be broken below glory,and a good item above glory

Game developers must assess the function of items so as not to broke the game and make it imbalanced. Im proposing to start at 1% treshhold and not 5%, (just to eliminate the miracle 1% hp outplay or survived moments), as 5% treshhold at start is OP. But with improved stats like higher adaptive damage and movespeed so as it make it desirable to be build. A +25 movespeed (together with normal boots) is already very good on early game as it improves rotation and escape. Then make it a 2,000+ gold cost item, not a 1,600+ cheap one.

@@elitesalty7946 Nah, its the use of percentage which balances out the impact for various hero max HP. 1% for squishy heroes with 3k HP is 30 life, whereas 1% for tanky heroes with 6k HP is 60 life. Fixing a flat/integer amount of treshhold like "100hp and below" would punish squishy heroes but not tanky heroes which has a high ceiling of HP amount. But the use of % would make it more effective to tanky high HP heroes than low HP heroes
The item is very similar to an item from league called Collector, this item is generally good for marksman since they need to hoard the gold thanks to its passive. Although they need to change so defensive items will be relevant

Suggestion: Can you try sky piercer with carmilla ult? Imagine you as carmilla set 5 enemies they all full hp except one and u manage to kill the low hp hero with the effect sky piercer. Thats 5k dmg to everyone (accounting her 50% dmg link reduction)

Make it like flask oasis where there's a cooldown for every enemy hero. Like if you use the sky piercer with enemy 1, then it'll only activate again after a minute or two. (Also, less stacks)

Noticing how this also triggers with Lethal Ignition, I'm quite certain Lethal Ignition + Sky Piercer will be one hell of a combo for many assassins and mages. Possibly even marksman heroes like Layla, Leslie, and Clint. Killing Spree is also a great choice to increase survivability in fights and ensuring kills.
How about making it something only assassins can use? Everything gets complicated once marksmen are involved after all, like with war axe before, they had to do many nerfs and adjustments for it to be something that could only benefit sustain fighters like how it was supposed to be. So why not making it an assassin exclusive item from the start? And about its ability, I think the hp threshold required for execution should be 4% at the start and 8% at max since 12% is too high, and the stacks are not lost upon death since assassins can't survive easily at late game

Only a few heroes can even reach that amount of hp with a normal build and if their name isn’t Hylos or Belerick, it ain’t gonna help and even then, it’s at low hp so Hylos and Belerick are already close to death so the little damage reduction Twilight could provide won’t help.

Tbh this item is really a big hit for Low popularity Assassins like aamon but I think they'll nerf this item a bit down to get the certain stat that would make it Balance ,, So I guess this item would only benefit the assassin role types ( Not hero assassin but assassin type of gameplay ) Twilight Armor and Queens wings ( New versions ) would be the great counter against this item ,, While radiant armor with curse Helm or Oracle can counter Pandora's Box ,, And Malefic Gun ,, Blade armor would be nice of a counter although I'm still Testing it out to see if it's really that good to counter Malefic Gun the only item I see is The new Dominance Ice But other than that , It's dominance ice that can counter this item ,, overall this 3 items clearly makes Some Spell and heroes kinda made a carbon copy 4 example Cecilions Ultimate ( Pandora's Box ) Execute ( Sky piercer ) Malefic Gun ( Novarias Ult and other heroes who have a Glide Abilities) so yeah overall It's a quite good selection of new items and Revamp Items ... This item is good to ensure kills and counter the flask of oasis passive.
It also enables the healing heroes to use skills and time the heals just for once, not just press one button and booom, all heroes healed 💀

This item should lose half of the stack just like Diggie first skill. And 1 hero kill got 5 stack only.

this item can be a good add to heroes that fails on killing enemies with low health, but in most cases, the hero is dealing more damage than the percentage that executes the target.
On other notes i feel like this item can help some heroes fighters specifically who aren't able to reliably all in an enemy

@HororoChan 1:16 if you dont know where you play in mythic glory/imortal most players can abuze Karina ultimate with low hp. When you use skill1-skill3-skill2-skill3 most players use immediately fliker spell and escape with low hp. I play Karina almost 5 years and i know what i say. Now on squishy heroes with this item you can one shot enemy. Soo if you dont know because you no play this hero more times, try it and you see.

Because of its stacking effect and auto execute as it's passive, the price of it should be the same as BoD to give players the risk of buying such op item. Rather than giving it low price for players to abuse it.
i think a clint main can benefit by this item in the early game cuz clint users usually can't kill enemy and escape with a low hp but with this item and physical pen passive i think in the early game he can basically bully anyone in the lane or maybee not?

so this is like League's The Collector item but with the Dark Seal stacking passive. IMO, I agree with some people here that it should be at 5% HP only to trigger the execute. Insta kill at 12% HP is kinda op. If they want to keep the stacks, they should lower its max limit or at least make the price higher.

I just thought of Wanwan when I first saw the item, a perfect item just for her.
all very nice, but in practice... it is not an item that heroes take advantage of too much... it gives little damage in general... it gives movement speed which, although it is a good statistic, is not in percentage but in simple points... it is how to make yourself some small boots, ... although adcs like Melisa claude wanwan or ixia can benefit me a lot... heroes like xborg lancelot karina, yu zhong, terizla or any other character that already has explosive damage , you won't see much use for this item since the change is minimal... on the other hand, with the adcs it is noticeable... because it usually happens that Claude quickly lowers everyone's life but doesn't execute them... another one that could Taking advantage of this would be badang... but... beyond the heroes they use, demon hunters with a scythe... or a golden staff... they are not going to use it too much.
I think they should add a cool down to the effect
That's definitely gonna be nerfed like out of all the items, this is probably the most broken one. Doesn't help that it's stackable as well
