    • The beginning few rounds almost nothing happened for either fighter, so if you were objective you could give a bunch of rounds to either Usyk or Joshua. Then AJ definitely won a few in the middle and you can make an argument for the fight being in favour of him by a few rounds but it’s easier to make an argument of Usyk winning for sure

  • I’m sorry eddie but the whole belt thing is bollocks. One minute AJ cares about the belts (when he has them) then the next hes doesn’t (when he doesn’t have them). In fact I saw an interview the other day where he said “of course the belts matter as much as I sometimes say they don’t they do deep down”. Don’t think Joshua will be happy when he hears this!

  • By the end of the 9th round l, Usyk had landed more punches in 6 of them, landing more jabs and heavy punches, so was winning regardless of the championship rounds. The fact a judge had AJ ahead is outrageous.

Governing bodies are there to govern the sport but in comparison…Leo Santa Cruz hasnt defended his WBA featherweight title in 3+ years, Errol Spence hasnt had an IBF mandatory since Carlos Ocampo in 2018 etc etc Like it or not Joshua has been carrying the heavyweight division.

  • The reason he lost his head after the fight last night was because reality hit AJ like a Ukrainian fist. That was his best ever performance ever and if your not good enough at your best day, you’ll never will be. AJ will likely be a 3 time world champion as Fury and Usyk will fight each other and both will likely retire afterwards so all the belts will likely be vacated in the next 12 months or so. AJ needs to take stock of the situation then look to fight the likes of Joyce and Dubois next and he’ll then likely get a shot and Wilder when Fury and Usyk have gone.

    • Very well said...it was only a matter of time this was to come out. Hearn found out in the klitchco fight this guy is not what he thought he was and kept him with over the hills and 40 year olds. He played a very good narrative about how humble AJ is, the sexed up 'jail story, how the top fighters are too scared to fight him, the massive (low blow) offers Matchroom was making to all these fighters etc etc. There is a strange aura about AJ that he is this manufactured athlete who actually isn't that class at his craft. When he talks about the boxing (skill wise) he is very short and casual about it. Never really see any real training footage apart from the planned faked heavy bag falling after being hit and afew cross training exercises....strange.

    • @@joshforeman1648 Never badly imo. He was definitely hurt in round 9 but it was one of those 'if he was fresh in round 1 those punches wouldn't have an effect' type of hurt. He was never hurt to the point of being in trouble.

  • Hey Fury fanbois, just so you know, Fury was given the chance to fight Usyk for undisputed. Whyte was the mandatory. Both Whyte and AJ gave their blessing to allow the fight between Usyk and Fury with both of them being in line for a shot at the title. The ball was in Fury's hands, but he chose to fight Whyte instead.🦆🐔

    • Easier said than done mate. It’s very hard to hit somebody clean like Usyk. The dude’s boxing IQ is very high level. Joshua’s body shots were quite good but in the end Usyk still won. It was still a really good fight though

  • The more I see AJ, the more he shows me and many others why we have zero respect for him... Many of us lost all respect for him when he made a speech for the black lives matter Marxists. As a British veteran who fought for my country, like many others I am glad Usyk won tonight... People say if you’re British you should support AJ... Sorry but making speeches to support Black Lives Matter is not very British at all.
