    • He was just trying to get Joshua to the final bell and put the rest in the hands of corrupt judges. Joshua had no chance no matter what he did, he was outclassed so their only hope was to fool the public into thinking he was doing well. If Usyk hadn’t have turned up the pressure in the last few rounds and hurt Joshua multiple times we would have seen a robbery. I think Usyk might need to knock Joshua out in the rematch to get the win. Hearn will do anything to get those belts back.

Joshua's jab was so predictable. Surely AJ could have learned something from Chisora's approach from his last fight with Usyk. But credit to Usyk he bossed it.

    @TakeMeBackPirateRadio@TakeMeBackPirateRadio2 жыл бұрын
    • Exactly. Trying to outbox Usyk was the dumbest strategy I've ever seen in boxing... He needs to come into this second fight strong with his power tweaked and maxed out and not worry about out pointing Usyk. He needs to worry about hitting Usyk with fight changing power punches. Even if he doesn't KO him, just one well landed power shot in an early round can totally changed the way the rest of the fight will go. He needs to say to hell with punch stats and all that BS and go in there with bad intentions trying to hurt Usyk with every punch.

If AJ goes in to the rematch to just “throw” it could back fire spectacularly, leaving himself spent after 3 rounds and get Ko’d in the 4th or 5th. Is it a risk he needs to take? Maybe. • @Captain Danger True but he said himself in the Ruiz rematch he actually preferred coming into the ring first to assert his dominance and make the other fighter feel like they are "walking into my ring". So whether or not that holds any merit I don't know, perhaps it was just mind games. He is but he also said I think to M J Phelps (can't remember her channel name) that he finds the crowd a bit of burden with all of that pressure on him. It won't take much to have the thought of "yeah all these people are here to see me knock this guy out!!" to "Oh god there are 70,000 people here seeing me get hit a lot..." and that instant of a change in mindset can be quite problmatic, no doubt it would cause you to tighten up, be naturally more cautious because despite what you might be trying to think, your bodies adrenaline will be flying around and that'll do to you whatever it wants to do. Good or Bad. Personally I think its best left to what AJ feels is best for him. Like forget what the "fans" want. Its about him, what he needs, if he feels like the podium being on fire etc is what gets him in the right mindset etc, cool keep it. If not, and he would rather have a straight to ring no nonsense walk and then save all the party time for afterwards, then do that instead.

Chisora really gave USyk big problem with his size because he used it that the way he should have fought. If he lost like that at least he would know he did everything correct and it would of been an incredibly close fight. Probably one of Joshua’s worst tactical performances ever.

How did they come to that decision? EVERYONE knew Usyk’s strengths prior to the fight yet AJ and his entire team of experts thought that trying to outbox Usyk was the tactic to use to beat him? From not being aggressive, throwing single punches to being told by his corner that he was winning and constantly telling AJ how good he was doing even when he obviously needed to start landing punches. • I’m an Usyk fan since he won the Olympics. I was really happy he did the semi-pros after and felt like ages until he became pro. I was always buying his t-shirts and always believed in him, and knew that the day will come that he’ll show the world that he’s the best. After the superseries I knew he’s meant for great things, and was delighted when he beat Bellew and everybody recognised his value. Almost ten years later, right before the AJ fight, I doubted him for the first time, I thought that there are not many chances to win for various reasons. I was wrong, and I’ve never been happier to be wrong. I know that nobody cares but just wanted to say that this time it happened my guy to be the best, but if you are an AJ fun or whosever keep being their fan, it took 10 years of patience to see my favourite boxer to become heavyweight champion, and would have been the exact same even if he had lost!
