Honestly, when I heard of what Wilbur had done, the first thing I thought of is how it taints Techno’s legacy. Of course, Techno himself can never be tainted, but these videos will never be the same. Hopefully I can just ignore Wilbur, just like I still enjoy Try Guys videos that still have Ned.

@@johnlang4552 Wilbur abused his ex girlfriend. It is pretty cut and dry. She had allowed him to bite her in an affectionate manner as long as she wasn’t getting hurt. In the beginning, he would accidentally bite her too hard, and developed a safe word so he wouldn’t hurt her. By the end of the relationship, he was using the safe word as a benchmark of when to stop, and made no attempt to avoid hurting her. He hurt her every day, even though she made it clear she did not want to be hurt. The most damning thing to me, is that he bit down harder in the moment she used the safe word. Though he may have never bit her an extra time after she used the safe word, grinding in his teeth after she used the safe word was a severe breach of conduct. If you think about it, what he did was just as bad as hitting her. She was getting physically damaged, and he was making no effort to stop hurting her. It didn’t matter that he technically stopped each time she used the safe word, if he intentionally abused the safe word to continue hurting her. I could see a world where he didn’t realize this was wrong. But that just makes him a fool and a sociopath. He’s still an abuser.

I want to say something about all the comments I've been seeing on Techno's old videos with Wilbur, George, and other content creators that are being cancelled for things that only one can describe as disgusting. I, for one, DO NOT think the actions of these men tarnish Techno's image as a person, content creator, or anything else. Do I think the actions of these men are wrong? Yes. Do I think these actions have no place in the MC/YT community? Absolutely. But does that stop me from rewatching an old minecraft monday, SMP Earth or Dream SMP vod just because Wilbur or George is in it? No. The actions of these creators being cancelled does not tarnish the legacy and impact Techno has left on the Minecraft community and on KZhead. That's why when I watch these back, I think about the times before these men commited these acts, the good times. The times where the phrase, "Starting the stream" was music to my ears everytime Techno logged on to SMP Earth or the Dream SMP. I support and am incredibly proud of anyone who has spoken up about domestic abuse and domestic violence. The point I am trying to make is this: Techno shaped his own legacy and nothing, I repeat, NOTHING can tarnish his impact and what he has done for so many people.

I wasnt able to watch a technoblade video for nearly one year now, but it feels good to be back. Its like coming back home after a long time. I still miss techno, i always will, but i'm finally at the point where i can look back at these times with a smile. Rest in peace Technoblade. I was watching you since 2014, I was so heartbroken when you passed away but Technoblade never dies because he is in our hearts, your comedic character always made me laugh and I’m sure it made many others laugh too, rest well.
I like how the audience and youtubers are being supportive of their victories for once, whilst within Minecraft Mondays they always cyberbully techno whenever he emerges victorious or fails.

i used to not be able to watch his videos without breaking down but even after all that has happened he still manages to put a smile on my face. I miss you everyday techno fly high
The feeling this video will convey in a few years, I am already getting a glimpse of, and I feel I am lacking the right words to describe it. The nostalgia is already hitting hard, but the consciousness of having lived a life that will never be the same with moments of joy that are no longer "now" but "then" is strangely overwhelming the more I watch. I might be getting too poetic here, but this really brought up an intense need for reflection in me. Death and the passage of time, not waiting for anyone, and the legacy of a man. I hope to one day be able to express this feeling better, and I wish to never forget it. May Technoblade live on through what he shared with the world.
