My background consists primarily of flying single pilot freight. At my current job I fly with another pilot 99% of the time. Today, I'm all by myself.

  • I worked my up from giving rides at the local grass strip, to a CFI, to CFIAIME, to flying Part 135 freight and air taxi. From there I made it to executive charter Captain, next stop was ATP… but then, a medical condition abruptly ended my flying career. Videos like yours keep me connected to aviation. Thanks for doing them. PS -That Embraer Phenom looks SWEET.

  • The phenom 300 is an amazing jet, I envy you guys that to get to fly. It's a lot of responsibility but it's a privelage too.

  • Thank you for sharing. I used to fly DH 114 Herons ( 4 engine piston) single crew years ago, which at times was challenging, so it is really good to see a very interesting 21st century jet flight operated in a calm and professional way. Excellent video and keep uploading your flights please.

  • Great video. That’s an awesome panel. I got my PPL in 1975 and have watched the amazing transformation of panels from steam gauges and VORs to glass panels and GPS. Technology is a wonderful thing. Keep up the good work.

  • I'm amazed at how busy you are during this flight...There is not one second that goes by where you're not doing something....I guess I shouldn't be surprised with an airplane this fast single pilot, but you truly mean it when you say there's no time to just look out the window.

    • Yeah the short flights like this are a lot busier. We routinely fly FTW-DAL and DAL-FTW which is usually 10-15 minutes total. Those flights can get very busy if ATC gives you the short flight directly over DFW.
