From Greg Whiteley (Cheer) and the team behind Emmy-winning Last Chance U comes LAST CHANCE U: BASKETBALL, an honest, gritty look inside the world of community college basketball. Led by passionate head coach John Mosley, the East Los Angeles College Huskies (ELAC) team is made up of former D1 recruits and powerhouse athletes hustling to prove themselves for a last chance to fulfill their dreams of playing at the next level. The team is tested as the players battle adversity, inner demons, and emotions on and off the court.

“Last Chance U” hits the hardwood in East Los Angeles as a coach with strong convictions leads young men who hope to fulfill major college potential.
Have to admit i got emotionally invested, the last episode actually had me real sad.
Same!
Exactly!
Yeah me too so disappointing
This squad was so solid. Also this has been my favorite coaching staff in the series.
faxs bro john mosely is easily the best coach focused more on his players developing as people then winning
I can’t wait for Last Chance U: Lacrosse. “Man, if I don’t make the Dartmouth Team this year, I’m bound for a longer career in Investment Banking.” 😅
Lol
Lmao
Imagine going to Maryland for lacrosse and not making the team :/
Looooool
😂😂😅😂 you wrong for that!🤣
I love Last Chance U its one of my favorite sports documentaries out
BIG FACTS
U = University?
Im just here to say the subtitles are off on what people actually are saying they need me to help them pin point peoples sentences instead of them guessing

Shout to any and everyone who has ever attended a JUCO or Community College. Life is about moving forward. Stay the course.
Respect. I love my time at a community college
In Chicago got an offer from one of the top JuCos(Malcom X) in the country at the time...Wish a mf would told me that was tha route 😔
@@sirsylk I'm very familiar with Malcolm X College on the Westside of Chicago. I went to a sports camp there when I was in 7th & 8th grade. My mother took classes there. The environment was much rough at the time in Chicago, however, it will force you to stay focused in order to move forward. The positive thing about Community Colleges is that they tend to be more current with what is needed in the job market and don't take decades to adjust to hiring trends like bigger universities. Make sure you approach this with an end goal in mind, to get a professional qualification/certification in a paying field with recommendations from the teachers you encounter through schooling. All of the jobs from this point on will be in tech or the trades [aim at the trades if possible because we'll always need plumbers, mechanics, carpenters, and those are the easiest businesses to scale to six figures quickly]. If I could do things over again, I'd have picked up a trade or went into IT early on. Good luck to you and/or anyone else reading this. If you are playing sports, remember to get something out of the school because that school is definitely going to get what they want out of you.
Better than spending 200k in private school
My time at juco was great lol.
I wish all of these people a life full of blessings. I admire you, John Mosley, you are an excellent role model for young men. The amount of kindness, understanding and wisdom you have shown these kids is incredible. For real, you have a heart of gold. Much love to him and his family. Best season yet!

For every 1 Zion Willamson, there's 10,000 dudes like this clawing there way just to get a shot that probably never comes. Becoming a pro athlete isn't as easy as you think!

I mean, does anybody think that becoming a pro athlete is easy? Dont think so. Might be a minority.

Just binged it. This shit was so good.
Bro this season was better then the last 2 seasons, it’s the first season to actually have a successful season unlike the last 2 seasons with shitty teams, the First season ever is goated.
🧢. That shit was terrrible. Tell me what was good about it.
@@mrstifler8987 everything bruh
@Ian Quinones No good backstory from anyone and they didn’t even play in the championship game!! It was a terrible ending. The last couple episodes were good but the rest were just boring.
@@mrstifler8987 ig there has been no hood backstories for anyone in last chance u by your standards. and apparently last chance u season 1 with football sucked too because they didn’t go to the championship.
I feel like even though they weren’t able to be immortalized the way they might have wanted, this character study and documentary series will truly immortalize them and their journey forever. Beautiful!
Last Chance U was great. Can’t wait to see what it’ll look like with basketball
Watched it over the weekend. IMO the best Last Chance U to date. Love the coaching staff. They truly want kids to succeed and probably the first time I was rooting more for the coaching team than the kids. As for the kids man....they are something else.
As a basketball fan, I strongly recommend watching this.
I just binged watched this, man so intense.
Facts same here. Shit was hella good
I think it was the best 1 yet !!!
@@bound210 I agree. I can't believe some of them commute up to 3hrs to go to school. I looked this up and apparently, that's fairly common commute time in LA. Talk about embracing the grind!
Amazing.
ive had people tell me that im angry i think im going through the hardest part of my life ... i hope that man balls out not just for himself but for his mom and win a chip
I ran into Deshaun Highler at Portland Airport a few months ago when his Sacramento State team was in town to play Oregon State. I introduced myself: he was sweet and classy as can be.
So glad they decided to go basketball last chance after the football one can’t wait !!
Football cool too but bb hits different, football way easier and 80 guys in a team doesn’t make them bond
This is Slam dunk level, pure talent, passion, creativity and powerful symbolism. Go Huskies! “One, two, three, family!”
Ay yo this bout to be a banger🔥🔥🔥 I can’t wait to watch this!
Yo same
Not getting my hopes up that it will be better than football though.
This season was good it wasn't better than the 1st 3 season's but it definitely was better than the 4th
This shit was sooo bad. The couple episodes made up for it but even then it was bad.
@@Vesta0831 it wasn’t. Not even close
im not even a basketball fan, im a football fan. but this was definitely the best last chance u series by far. HIGHLY recommend watching this
Got chills watching this show. Hope they all make it big😩🙏🏾❤️
Bball is my favourite sport but the emcc documentary was the best by far
What a phenomenal series this was. Didn't think I'd like it as much as football, ended up liking it more. Coaches were amazing. Good kids, maad city.
Last Chance U Basketball looks cool, but I really hope they bring football back eventually.
I agree, and I'm sure it will come back.
Same... I'd love a baseball series too that focused on the Minor Leagues...
@Ivey 96 lmao my man said last chance U baseball 😂
Basket ball is better wait till u watch it it’s 🔥🔥🔥
I hope so they should’ve stayed with football
This is one of the best serie I’ve ever seen. Absolutely stunning
A brilliant doc the very best to everyone of those wonderful young gentleman. Head Coach was a hero a community master loved his commitment and he was doing it for so little too.
Graduated from ELAC same time as them and transferred, was there the last day it closed when the pandemic started. So proud of this team, wish them a bright future, go huskies!
John Moseley you are a dead set legend I'm going through my own addiction struggle I'm clean now for a while. Every time I need a lift I watch your show its made me laugh, cry but most importantly it inspires my drive.I dig you your family and the team , if the world had more John Moseleys it would be a way better place keep up the good work Mr Mo
Best Last Chance U yet, man. More of this please.
I binged watched this all lastnight. I live in East Los Angeles. And this was inspiring. Awesome F'n Documentary!!!
Just got done watching this show. Obsessed! Got so emotionally invested with this team.
Great documentary. MOSLEY is an fantastic coach!!
Yo this is so lit, thats my community college right there
EAST LA lessgooo!
Same! It’s a trip seeing all these dudes around campus, and just never thought that they would be top dogs in their division
This doc put East LA on the map
From a basketball player perspective ..this needs an Oscar!!! Super authentic 🏆
This is the most inspirational show I've seen in a long time. I can't say enough good things about this show. (I can't believe they didn't get a chance to go all the way and hoist the championship trophy.)
Hats off to the Coach he really cares about what happens to all these guy's. Very great doc.💪🏾🔥
One of the best docus I've ever seen, A must watch!! Brilliant people and such an emotional provoking show.
This was so good!!🔥🔥😍 they all are so talented too.
Just finished it and am missing it, great series. Got me so invested in their journeys
Let's talk about how Community College Athletics got DEFUNDED during covid so many players, like these, players who play as rivals, can't continue in academics bc of our government in California. This has been ignored during the pandemic. Coaches, assistant coaches, players, have brought it up time and again only to be hushed up Netflix needs to do a follow up if it's not included in this documentary
It is brought up, Coach Mosley especially told it like it is in the last episode
ELAC (where this team is from) has continued school ONLINE since Spring 2020... they CAN continue their ACADEMICS... don't be saying they can't 🙄🙄🙄
@@laurenaka5120 I know for many of the students they are struggling online because they don't have the resources like a stable WiFi, a good environment to study at home (many distractions), not a working computer or laptop so academics has been a struggle.
@@laurenaka5120 your privilege is showing 🙄🙄🙄
@@BedtimeStorieswithBelaLugosi ELAC has done a lot to help students. They provided FREE laptops... wifi is $10/month through AT&T for low income individuals... its not impossible. i cried, I laughed, I cheered, I have a son so I felt all of these young men!!! thank you!!!
Just finished the 2 seasons. This was an amazing watch and a must see for not just bball heads, but for any lover of sports👏🏼🔥
I can’t wait man! Last chance is the best thing on Netflix easy
Going to East Los Angeles College and being from the area. I can’t wait for this !
I loved it so much. Watched the last episode yesterday...gosh it was so unexpected. So moving !
I’ve seen 2 episodes so far and I’m a fan of the Coach, The Program, and The Players....Coach loves his Players, he’s trying to get them through and to their Opportunities they deserve....I’m locked in,Sunn...!!!
I’m from EAST LOS! can’t wait for this!! The way you fight to win the game is the same way you fight to survive here in EAST LA!! The struggle is real!
Just finished watching, as someone who was never interested in basketball. The series here is extremely good too, not just the basketball highlight footage. Worth watching for anyone.
With their conference being the last one cancelled, clearly Netflix had a say in that. Wouldn't have been as emotional if three days before they were to get on the bus they were told its all over. One of the great moments in television, that scene from the bus to the locker room.
What are you saying, that Netflix somehow got the conference to hold off on canceling the tournament so their series could have a dramatic moment? C'mon dude, that's getting a bit tin-foil-ish.
been waiting for this
Too damn good. One word: LEADERSHIP!
If anyone is wondering if this is good, I just watched this whole series in one day. So ya it’s good 😅

When they played “Too Much” by Drake at the end of episode 2, it was beautiful 😭😭..
And when they played “Feel” too. I personally sympathized with Joe because when you are passionate about something and feel unappreciated it definitely gets to you

Something that should not be overlooked is the fantastic work of the directors, camera people, producers, editors, & all involved in this production. I pay no attention to awards like Grammys & Emmys, etc, but if any show deserves an Emmy, it's definitely this one, bcuz I was totally absorbed, and that's mot the norm with me & TV. And that bus/lockerroom scene after the cancelation of the rest of their season, seriously kicked my butt. BAD COVID!!!
Yoooo, John Mosley is my professor this semester, this is so cool!
that’s crazy as hell
Let him know that it’s kids and young adults out here that appreciate him for what he’s doing for all of us he’s a good man.👍
