Adam Lz bought this rare 992 GT3 Porsche brand new in Florida in 2022 but only 2500 miles later it was crashed into. I fell in love with the car from watching the videos & when it turned up at copart for sale i knew i had to buy the Porsche. Only problem.. I'm over 4000 miles away in the UK.

As someone who's rebuilt a few Copart cars, it's cool to see how similar the process itself is for a Porsche GT3 or an old Chevy Astro van....lotsa pulling body panels, ghetto rigging stuff, unexpected obstacles, the loooong search for parts, and in the end, the satisfaction of bringing a vehicle back to life. BIG ALOHA to you and congrats on the new wheels.

That was actually insane bumpstarting it, thats why i love manuals so much, even with no starter and no power to it you can still get the car started, you control the car and not some computer

If I remember correctly, Adam said in the last or second to last video about this car, when the insurance decided to total it out, he had them agree that he could swap the OEM exhaust back into the car, he wanted to keep the aftermarket exhaust because he had just installed it and planned to use it in the next car he got. You could probably reach out to him and he could give you all of the info needed on the car, including the location of the center lock tool…

Adam will be stoked to see this back alive, if you watched ANY of his videos on this car you'll realise how much he loved and cherished it. It was his dream too. To see you rebuild this will be your best project to date, and that aint easy to say when you've already accomplished so much. Cant wait to watch it all unfold

As a follower of Tavarish we know he’s going through a bit of a tough time just now. To see him as happy as he was in this video is great and is probably exactly what he needs. He’s doing what he loves without the pressure of being the main man. I can tell this will keep his mind off stuff and hopefully help him move forward. I hope he gets in a mental space where he needs to be and being around such a positive person as Mat I think he will get there. Enjoy the build boys, we are looking forward to the updates!

He talks about pressure of yt, how he’s going through a divorce, how he was contemplating suicide and if it wasn’t for his mates he would be dead. He’s taking time off of yt to sort himself out. That’s why I think being around mat and sort of helping him rather than being the main focus will be good for him

I feel like this Porsche isn’t anywhere near as damaged as some of the other cars Mat has worked on. I guess the difficulty here is sourcing parts? I don’t know
@Sam Eades Yeh is definitely an easy one for Mat, i think that's probably why it was an easy decision for him to buy it. Like you said parts will be hard to get maybe he will bring it back and finish it off once its rolling on 4 wheels I don't know how long it will be before its back here in UK I don't know how long shipping takes.

Honestly the part from 14:30 till 15:20 has me dying every time. The way you get startled when the horn goes of the first time, Freddy’s genuine laugh after the third horn, and your gobsmacked face when it powers on without the horn after engaging both brake and clutch, just phenomenal
