Diana, Princess of Wales left her unhappy marriage to Prince Charles in 1996. The following Summer, she began dating Dodi Al-Fayed - the son of Mohamed Al-Fayed - who owned Harrods department store in London and The Ritz Hotel in Paris. Dodi was known for his luxurious way of living.
Diana met Mohamed Al-Fayed in 1986 at a polo match against Princes Charles. Eleven years later, Mohamed invited Diana and her children on board his yacht in St. Tropez.
That is where their short love story began.
The relationship between Diana and Dodi is shrouded in mystery. Conflicting accounts hinder the actual knowledge of how she felt. Was she falling in love, was she trying to make her former lover, Hasnat Khan, jealous?

  • Diana loved someone who never loved her and it was devastating. The world saw what it did to her. So unfair that she died and the man she loved who clearly didn't deserve her love is now a king and the lover is now a queen. So unfair. It's understandable that the two loved each other, but still he should have fought for her instead of marrying Diana and completely destroying her. Shame on them.

    • That didn’t happen after the divorce, Diana kept her apartment in Kensington Palace and stayed at Highgrove. It was that Summer holiday after the boys left her to go to Balmoral to be with the father and grandparents, according to one of Diana’s friends she was at a loose end. London is a very lonely place in School holidays, families are off abroad or heading for their country homes. No one wanted her because of the press intrusion she would bring. It was a time for peaceful family time. That was the argument between her brother and her, just for that holiday break, not a permanent move.

She did many, many great things and was very kind, but she also had affairs with married men too, which many people find difficult to forgive; and yet the ‘cult of Diana’ overlook this, while berating Camilla for doing the same thing with one man.

  • 🇨🇦 There are too many questions about this accident. #1 Why would the French clean with soapy spray, the accident scene in the tunnel hours after the most famous woman in the world was killed ? # 2 Why was there only ONE body guard to protect Princess Diana # 3 why did it take so long to get to the hospital? # 4 how in hell can someone be so drunk, but then squats down to do his shoes up x2 and never staggers or falls over? #5 If there are camera's in the tunnel, why were they not functioning that night? #6 Why did it take 2 hrs to travel 7 miles ? #7 why was André Paul driving the Mercedes when he wasn't even the driver, he was head of security. #8 why did it take 10 yrs for an inquiry, after 10 years people have lost the memory, and the information. Too many unanswered questions, I find it extremely suspicious when questions cannot be answered.

    @susansimons5577@susansimons55778 ай бұрын
    • Most of your questions are easy to answer if you take the effort to do a little research. The ambulance took so long because doctors and paramedics followed French emergency procedures. The patient is stabilised on the spot rather than rushed to hospital, a journey he might not survive. On the other hand, the ambulances are better equipped than elsewhere and there is always a doctor on board. You don't necessarily see intoxication on a habitual drinker. They can often hide their condition surprisingly well. Diana had refused Charles' offer to retain royal security after their divorce. So that night she had to rely on the Al Fayeds' security, which had failed terribly. And the cameras in the tunnel? Failures happen, probably more often than we are aware of. It's just that under normal circumstances you don't notice it. The accident could have been so easily prevented. They could have stayed at the Ritz, as Dodi's father had asked. They could have hired a professional driver. And there was no reason in the world to speed like that. Paparazzi are annoying, but not dangerous. The cause of the accident was bad decisions and the unprofessional security of the Al Fayeds. Nothing else

She continued her work with the British Red Cross Anti-Personnel Land Mines Campaign, but was no longer listed as patron. Two old age homes lost their funding after Diana withdrew her patronage and the elderly residents became homeless. She should have had a proper mental diagnosis, announced it publicly and founded a charity. She would have helped many more people suffering in silence every day by being honest,instead of hiding her mental illness and deflecting by playing the "victim". She knew about Charles and Camilla before the wedding and she still walked down the aisle. She made herself and everyone around her miserable, including her children, and then got herself killed with her reckless and irresponsible behaviour

The royal family played the most horiffic trick ever on her, thinking that she will have there support, but all they wanted was an heir, they never once thought princess Diana was going to be taken seriously or loved by the ppl, because the royals were so self centered. It was always intended that Charles would eventualy marry his whore, im not saying that Camila was getting paid, but when a woman intentionaly carries on an affair in front of a wife, what else can you call that woman???? And now she's a queen, bravo uk making it alright for ppl not to take notice of vowels. Princess Diana made a difference she made the world stomach the british royals, something Prince William and princess Katherine are still doing. As for charles and Camila the world is patiently waiting for them to die, so as true family values can be crowned King and Queen of the UK

I could only see that all of the adults around me were in shock and grieving. But I was a new mother in my 30's when Diana died. I remember the morning when my husband came into our bedroom and said that "she didn't make it." I am a Cancerian as was Diana, so all of the intuition that she felt and divulged to her assistant is not far fetched. We "moon children" have a 6th sense and can feel and see things that others cannot. I've seen all of these film clips before in other videos: they continue to bring up the emotions of that day as if it were happening all over again. Gosh, she had gorgeous legs. I think he really loved her and she him. I think they had very happy times in the beginning. She married him to fulfill a calling, her life's work. He married her to fulfill what the family and public expected from him, but I do feel her loved her. Marriages sometimes don't work....wether you are royal or not. Incompatibility sometimes taks s years to come out. Its a tragic, tragic story.....a fractured fairytale.
