I think the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series might be the greatest SUV ever made. I'm here to make my point.

    • Hey brother, good to see you make vids again 👍 these Landcruisers are very common here in Aus cause they pretty much cover every aspect everyone needs in a car (except good fuel consumption 🤪) but I never knew how people could afford them, most are upwards of $100k

  • The 100 series has another model that wasn't released in USA, the 105 series. There are a lot of differences between the 2, the main 1 being the 105 has a solid front axle and coil sprung, and different chassis and wheel offsets. Also the 105 only had basic petrol and diesel N/A engines. No factory turbo or V8 options. offsets.

Average price for that model was always around $120k USD, yet, you find it expensive for $80k, thats actually the price of the smaller PRADO, which will now be available next year as the "new Land Cruiser" in the states.

    • I’ve driven 06/07 with and without AHC and I certainly do prefer AHC. The ride quality certainly is good but the 200 series has other creature comforts. My biggest issue is rust, my 2006 has some rust unfortunately. Now that I’m in CA I could easily take care of it and never look back, but the appeal of a low mileage almost-new 200 series as a car for the next 20 years is too high. Also, I’m surprised to hear you say 24K for a 96K mile 2007. More like 35-40K in the US.

  • My 2014 Land Cruiser with 150k miles is the only used vehicle I ever had that _increased_ in value. I traded it in to a owner of a car dealership for his 2019 Land Cruiser. He wanted to turn his into a overland rig but didn't want to bang up such a nice Cruiser, so he was thrilled when I walked in asking if they wanted to do a trade in

  • I’ve owned a 2013 200LC and the JBL Sound System was quite impressive, not as bright as the ML from the 200LX. There’s honestly nothing better than these, no GM product, Ford, Nissan, etc.

  • Losing the split tailgate and not having a split tailgate option on the new lx600 and newer Land Cruisers before they were no longer available was a terrible decision on Toyota's part in my opinion.
