When it comes to engineering Japan is unmatched.
Germany is top notch in engineering
@@amrashraf9559yeah they tend to build stronger cars.
@@amrashraf9559not in their vehicles. They use to make great vehicles. Now,.... not so much. Just overpriced junk.
@@amrashraf9559It’s the philosophy of engineering that puts Japanese on another level. Japanese engineer for safety and things to last for decades as their primary goal. If you look at Japanese bullet trains, they will test at much higher world record speed but operational speed is much lower than what the machine can potentially go. And they have never had an fatality accident since they’ve been operational in 1960s while having worldly famous earthquakes that occurs all the time.
No loss of respect. But check the German machines
The most reliable vehicle ever made. This vehicle can run forever
My car discovery UK
The Land Cruiser maybe yes. But the Hilux now are not reliable anymore, parts are cheaply made and sourced out in China.

That's why Japan makes the best cars in the world because they make them by their own hands with love and passion.
Thank you Japan, for all the wonderful products you produce..
TOYOTA LANDCRUISER ❤️👍 THE OFFROAD KING 👑
Nissan vtc 4800 it's good
I have a 2006 Landcruiser Prado in Australia. The best vehicle I’ve own. The full time 4wd, auto transmission and Diesel engine torque are great off road.
I have a 2006 as well with the 4L V6. Takes a beating off road and laughs. Never broke down nor left me stranded. Great car
neither an automatic transmission or full time all-wheel-drive are ideal for off road driving. there are huge advantages being able to disengage the front transfer case, and if you're serious about traction you want diff lockers at least on the rear wheels. also I found the Prado's 4 cylinder diesel turbo motor very underpowered. Certainly compared to the V8 TD in the big boys landcruiser.
@@antoncarmoducchi6057I bet I’m more qualified than you to comment on what works on and off road.

Don't forget the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is a wonderful car, powerful and luxurious inside
You are 100% right
I own a LC200 since 2002 with more than 450.000 km and is still perfect
I learnt to drive in a 40 series Landcruiser. I put over 500,000km on it. I had a 75 series, a 78 series, a single cab 79 series, another 78 series as well as for work vehicles I also had an 80 series, 105 series and 200 series. My 79 series had 650,000km when I sold it, many hard offroad KM’s on it and the guy I sold it to has added almost another 300,000km to it. We plan to meet up and go camping together on a trip to celebrate her 1,000,000km’s when it’s due to turn over, the idea is to let me drive her over the millionth kilometre 😂. I love the vehicle. At the present time I am awaiting a new 300 series GR Sport which will be my final Landcruiser (as I’m getting very old). Truely it would seem my Landcruisers have worn me out 😂. It’s difficult for me to calculate the distance I’ve travelled in my Landcruisers but I estimate in excess of 4 million kilometres. My work Landcruisers use to travel anywhere up to 2,500km/week and all of my cruisers have travelled across sone of Australia’s most difficult terrain…….it’s how remote living in Australia is. I’m starting to slow up these days, my new GR will probably only travel 4-500km per week, I plan to do a bit of overland travel before I get too old for it. Landcruiser is my true ❤…….. they’ve never let me down and have taken me on many adventures & back again!
The most known off road vehicle in the entire world for it's bullet proof durability and reliability is the almighty Toyota Landcruiser. Thank you Japan. Your product is legendary! 👏👏👏
I am blown away how much of the LC is still done by hand, that is a dedication to craftsmanship. I was expecting more of the car to be automated but i am seeing people hand welding and assembling the truck in major steps of the process including the paint booth? Thats just crazy!
This is reason why toyota land cruiser is one the best tough and durable machine !
They only do little hand welding, robots do the rest....pay attention to what they are doing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@yasinta2342 that is why it's a favorite for rebels and terrorists across middle east and Africa.

Love how they often remove the doors to create space to work or lose some weight.Excellent car at what's supposed to do ❤
It is truly commendable that Toyota doesn't allow any other of it's own plants worldwide to produce the Land Cruiser. They have to do it themselves in Japan. This obsession for perfection and quality is what makes ownining an LC an absolute pleasure and peace of mind. I'll put my hard earned money on this product anyday. Wish you much more success Toyota. Love from India.
But the newer Toyota Hilux alternator bearings are cheap brands MADE IN CHINA. It breaks easily after just 3 months of use. When we open it, it says Made in China.
Ленд крузер Прадо производят не только в Японии но и в Китае, Британии, Франции и т.д. Его также собирали в России, во Владивостоке. Чисто японским автомобилем является Паджеро 4. Его собирали только в Японии! Жаль что его больше не производят

@@bethzarin6439Hliux very good Japan and Thailand
@@farisalhusain7079 Not anymore, all these new Hilux from 2019 forward got many issues. I like to buy the new GRS Hilux though. But still, Toyota should make a decision on where they source out their components as it will damage their reputation if they source out important parts from China. And besides, there is no Hilux made in Japan. They are all Made in Thailand anyway. Only the Land Cruiser is Japan made.
I have a 2020 LC200 and ir is the best vehicle I have ever owned, followed by my J VIN 2022 4Runner. Nothing like a J VIN vehicle, the best made.
What is J VIN? Japan VIN?
@@fty-ys4niyes.
У меня знакомый продал недавно ТЛК 200 и купил Ниссан Леаф и сказал что самый лучший в мире автомобиль Ниссан Леаф 😂😂😂
I just added another V6 RAV4 to our fleet, and I flew all the way across the country to buy it, because it was the only one that met all my requirements, one of which was that the VIN had to start with "J". Not paying for Toyota reliability and then getting my car built by the UAW.
@fty-ys4ni first letter of the VIN is the manufacturer country. You can find a list of all the codes and what they mean but "J" means its made in Japan. A is South Africa, 1-5 is North America, 6 is Australia, L is China, M is Thailand, W is Germany.
Look at the spacing of the welds that was done manually @3.33 . It was like computer perfection!
Not quite lol
That’s how the world famous Toyotas are made in Japan, every little details are precise and crafted to perfection 👍
Toyota is my go to company. Especially when they are made in Japan! My 2008 Highlander Limited made in Japan still going strong at 255,000 miles. Change oil every 5k miles with fully synthetic oil.
It will run 500000 more...
@@ohiampuja9246 the only thing I had to do is add a bottle of AT-205 Re-Seal on my last oil change to rejuvenate the valve stem seals. This eliminated the puff of blue smoke in the morning.
Japanese are top tier workers, we need to learn from them. When you see, made in Japan, you know you're getting the best build quality in the world.
Ironically, the Japanese, post WW2, learnt about quality manufacturing from W. Edwards Deming - an American whom the American manufacturing industry didn't take seriously enough. The Japanese took him VERY seriously! Google his story and impact on Japanese industry post WW2! That is the real lesson! And G'day from Western Australia.
We own three Cruisers and love them all. 👍
too much for you maybe give me 1 its my dream car
We have a 200 and a Prado (and two V6 RAVs and a Prius. Our neighbors call our driveway Toyota Nation). Thinking the 300 won't be as good as previous generations, frankly. Don't see how they could be, at that price point.
@@davidryder3374 We have a 2019 LC bought used in 2021 and a 2019 LX 570 bough used this year. Both now have 38k miles coincidentally Got them under the wire before they they were snapped up! Heavier than the 300 and that works for me. Safer. Tougher. Worth the extra gas $$.
These things will last a century. ❤❤❤Toyota!!

Grateful for my trusty Prado! Seventeen years strong and still running like a dream. Massive appreciation to every skilled hand involved in crafting this enduring masterpiece. With love from India. 🇮🇳❤️🇯🇵
Nice to see how my land cruiser was made
Simply incredible workers and products Toyota builds. NOBODY comes close..
This why we love Japan ❤😂
I had no idea there were still split rims used on vehicles in this day and age?! My two 4Runners as well as my 78 and 83 Pick ups are the best built vehicles I have ever had and still driving my 83 today!
Split rim ones often go to New Guinea
On my third Landcruiser since 1980, three cars in 44 years tells you everything you need to know, none of them have missed a beat, my current model is a 2018 2.8 diesel with a 6 speed manual gearbox its all the car anyone needs and it gets 36mpg imperial. I am keeping this one as long as I can because its the top spec model and has a custom paint job from the factory and some mechanical mods that were fitted by the dealer when purchased new, the car has taken me all over Europe from Italy to northern Norway. Try that in a Range Rover without any issues .
can't believe it's still done mostly by hand
Labour is cheap in Japan..
These facury old generation Toyota hase one factory automation 100% bat Toyota has a huge marketing then thy can't develop all prodictin line one time
Demand of a Toyota Land cruiser still surpass supply 😅😅
The 70 series are mostly hand made, that’s why it’s the most reliable truck on the planet.
These people are all hard-working, and hardly ever complain like Americans. They take pride in what they do. They eat well after work. Americans eat, shit food, that’s why everyone so unhealthy. Just look how healthy these guys are.

Amazing how much work goes into making vehicles. Toyota is a great brand.
*Relentless pursuit of perfection* is why Japan makes the best car.💯
I am from Afghanistan And I am a fan of Toyota. I chose Toyota among the cars in the world Long live Japan with Land Cruiser 🇦🇫♥♥♥♥♥🇯🇵🇯🇵
that dude doing that welding 😎
I haven't seen this much manual welding in a usa plant since the late 1980's. I don't know how Japan is keeping things consistent this way.
The design and methods of manufacturing Land Cruisers haven't changed much since the 80's.
By not employing fat, lazy, blue haired diverstiy hire workers as we do here in the US thanks to UAW.
The Land Cruiser 70 is 100% handcrafted because demand is high enough to produce it, but not high enough to automate the production. 70 serie is a niche product!
How can you be conscientious enough to make a device that first does not break down and secondly be like a caring mother to the customer? Hello to Japanese culture
Great and appreciate able. MashaAllah. Honourable and respectful Japanese Nation in world.
So cool watching those gentlemen weld the body on the Land Cruiser old school style, such a great vehicle!! Thanks Japan for your amazing manufacturing!!
Excellent quality assurance! This is why they make some of the best cars and trucks in the world. Great video!
Realy I like this factory so much
And there is so much more detail they could have included here! But all the same, I'm so proud to own a 150 Land Cruiser Prado! I continue to be surprised at its off road capability (in Australian conditions), reliability, and the quality and durability of the paint! Also - it is just such a beautifully designed car! Since owning this car, my first Land Cruiser, I can't imagine buying any other car that a Toyota Landcruiser. But I might just keep the one I have for a few more years yet. I just love it so much!
It’s like seeing where by Land Cruiser was born!
The 70 series are the worlds best cars. I bought my HZJ78 brand new in 2000 and it still bring me where i want. No ABS, no airbags no electronic tralala, just a reliable 4x4 workhorse and a pleasure to drive. I won't even swap my 78 for a new 4x4 from an other brand.
The Toyota automobile company is unique and excellent in the world in all aspects that can be considered for automobile manufacturing; not only Toyota, but also Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Suzuki, Subaru, Honda, Daihatsu, Isuzu, all of them are unique, professional, and unique 🇯🇵
Toyota will always be favorite car. Have a innova that coming to 19 y/o and still in good shape, easy to find spare parts, Toyota cars are quality, easy to adjust or upgrade. Cost of maintanence wise reasonable with the pricing. Kudos from Sabah, Malaysia. Toyota, Japan keep on producing quality affordable cars for the market.
This is amazing good job

The love i have for this toyota landcruiser is in another level
Love the mig sound effects when they are tig welding
Reminds me of my Toyota days at HINO Hamura factory. And Toyota City.
Toyota cars are the most reliable cars in the world
You are a very good KZheadr.
I have a troopy and a corolla, the best! seeing the manufacturing was very emotional lol
Very interesting, notably no description of rthe chassis manufacture and painting, sadly chassis corrosion is the number one killer of large Toyota 4x4s in cold countries where raod salt is used if the chassis wre galvanised you really could buy one in your twenties and never need to buy another car no matter where you lived. I've owned Toyota 4x4's since the early 90's, never has one let me down.
I would like to also add that there is no proper plastic wheel arch liner fitted to protect the chassis rails and inner front wings a total let down for fans in the colder climate countries
I will definitely be saving up to buy one. They are very strong, rugged and reliable vehicles.❤👍👍
Awesome
I watched this right to the end, what a fascinating video. Now I want to work at a car factory.
