I'm not the biggest fan of Usman when it comes to his personality but man he's on a whole other level as a welterweight. He's to me so much like GSP but has stronger punching power in my opinion. Jorge Masvidal is no joke but Usman is on another level and I honestly do not know who can beat the guy as he's cleaned out the entire division. The guy is one of the best in MMA right now and idk who's going to be able to stop him especially when he's improving every single fight.

Rewatched this a week ago along with Gaethje's fight against Feguson. The distance and range management by both guys was on point. Just out of range for most of the opponent's weapons. Against Masvidal, jab couldn't land, and the low kicks were landing mainly with the foot, but when Usman was in, he could land his 1-2 and then not be there for the return. Same thing with Gaethje v Ferguson. Tony's jab is maybe a fist length too short, and his leg kicks are checked, so he steps forward to close the range, and gets cracked walking in. That's got to be the key work of Wittman, understanding and managing range and distance so well.

Rewatched this a week ago along with Gaethje's fight against Feguson. The distance and range management by both guys was on point. Just out of range for most of the opponent's weapons. Against Masvidal, jab couldn't land, and the low kicks were landing mainly with the foot, but when Usman was in, he could land his 1-2 and then not be there for the return. Same thing with Gaethje v Ferguson. Tony's jab is maybe a fist length too short, and his leg kicks are checked, so he steps forward to close the range, and gets cracked walking in. That's got to be the key work of Wittman, understanding and managing range and distance so well.
Gaethje panicked so hard with Oliveria's pressure. Got him wildly swinging and abandoned technique.
