I absolutely love the fact that they're going back to the original town, rebuilding the original buildings, and bringing back the original actors. I cannot wait to see this film! I have VERY high hopes for this sequel!

@@timothykitchens9972 my comment said original scripts, it was meant to say original actors lol just fixed it. From what I've heard some of the old cast is back. Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton, Catherine O'Hara. And then there's new people as well, like Jenna Ortega as Lydia's (Winona's) daughter. Somebody coming in as Beetlejuice's wife, though I forget her name. That's all the cast I know about right now but Jenna Ortega is a great actress. I think she'll fit into Tim Burton's movie really well. She already did the show Wednesday with him and that was a huge hit.

They're supposed to still be stuck in the house. In the first movie they were told that they would be stuck in that house for 120 years. But I haven't heard anything about them being involved

@@amberv9424while that would be awesome the dead don’t age so they would have to cgi their young faces in to make it make sense (unless they go the route of their seance scene 🤔) but the whole point from my perspective was beetlejuice wreaking havoc on the newly “dead and stupid” the ultimate bio- exorcist. It’ll be interesting to see when and how beetlejuice finds love 😂

I hope they do old school special effects like the claymation in the sandworm scenes in the original. Also all the makeup and costumes of all the undead was so great. There is just charm to that artistic style. I don't want to see modern CGI replacing all that! This needs to keep the vibe of the original I feel to recapture that magic.

Let's hope for no cgi on this. It's kind of demented with the claymation, which makes it much better and actually more like the original supernatural fantasy. Silly but believable in an alternate universe.

When I was in high school they filmed a movie that was meant to take place, and was filmed in my home town. The movie was horrible, but it was fun seeing landmarks in my hometown.

As those leaders and their subordinates have become members of Fight Clubs or of Project Mayhem. He uses this power to enact his plan of nuking the world back to the stoneage, but only after he has locked away all of his braindead, reactionary cultists in bunkers with the plan being they will wait out the apocalypse and start a new world. At the end, it's revealed that Tyler never resurfaced and that the Narrator pretended to be him so that he could kill off all of the dumb fucking chuds that worship Tyler Durden. He has boobietrapped all of the bunkers which are built inside of old salt mines, they begin to collapse, the spacemonkeys all die and the nukes never launch. It's actually pretty awesome.

Tim Burton is very involved with the community when he does movies. He’s just so nice to the town people or place he’s filming in. Treats people with respect and his whole crew who works with him

@@Fireglodark shadows was ok, I like the show and my dad grew up on it. It’s not the same as the show but I enjoyed it for what it was. The sets were really nice and I had some laughs. Dark shadows was his last best for me. Like it’s not fantastic but I can watch it once in awhile. Haven’t been into anything he’s done since. Even dark shadows felt like it needed more.

someone already stole a prop statue (a recreation of one from the original that delia was trapped in at one point) that was worth over 100k. so happy they finally got around to doing this. maybe alec and geena will show up, although it would be hard to explain how they continued to age (and, in alec's case, kill)

I was sincerely hoping that this would be the case. The community I'm sure it's a delightful place and I'm sure they are thrilled to be part of this once again. It is also cottage industry there I'm sure over the years. I hope they can keep the Beetlejuice house but I'm sure it's not up to code like the last one and I think for liability reasons will have to take it down again, but I hope they take plenty of pictures as these ones will be fresher than the ones from 1988 and can be use as marketing yet for sure.

Cool to see this is happening. Bit of a note. They will remove everything except the freshly built covered bridge. After they're done filming the covered bridge will be relocated to the ski lodge area where the original one is currently at and being used as a storage shed.

yeah, it's already 90 percent there, just add proper techniques and electricals and let the town have it. Wouldn't even need to have rooms inside, just do the outside.
I honestly think the town is happy with it being torn down. Ive been there 3 times now from Colorado, that area of Vermont is so peaceful i dont think the locals would appreciate qawkers running all over there nice little town.

someone already stole a prop statue (a recreation of one from the original that delia was trapped in at one point) that was worth over 100k. so happy they finally got around to doing this. maybe alec and geena will show up, although it would be hard to explain how they continued to age (and, in alec's case, kill)

I was sincerely hoping that this would be the case. The community I'm sure it's a delightful place and I'm sure they are thrilled to be part of this once again. It is also cottage industry there I'm sure over the years. I hope they can keep the Beetlejuice house but I'm sure it's not up to code like the last one and I think for liability reasons will have to take it down again, but I hope they take plenty of pictures as these ones will be fresher than the ones from 1988 and can be use as marketing yet for sure.

Cool to see this is happening. Bit of a note. They will remove everything except the freshly built covered bridge. After they're done filming the covered bridge will be relocated to the ski lodge area where the original one is currently at and being used as a storage shed.
