The library from the 1st movie was fake. They put up a facade around the library you see today. The original library in the town looked like the facade but it burned down. It was replaced with the building that you see today and that was covered up during the first filming.

Beetlejuice was the first movie that my parents took me to see. I love it so much. This is one of the movies that I know shot for shot. I've dreamt of stepping through the screen into that world so many times. It's so amazing that you actually got to do it! I've wanted the sequel since the first one came out so I'm excited. Thank you so much for this video!
Shoot, at this rating we may not get the chance to see it, seeing how ppl stole the statue to now ppl destroying the house and property before it's done, won't blame em for shutting it all down permanently. And I LOVE Beetlejuice and it was supposed to come out on my bday. Smh. Ppl ruin everything all the time.

Oh yeah....my daughter was telling me that there is another Beetle Juice movie coming out. When the first one came out my husband and I went and seen it at the theater three times. This is so cool!! I have to share this with my husband and my daughter. They'll love it too !! Great Job Tampa Jay!!👍

Wow! To see the actual locations of the original film and to know they’re returning to the real location is amazing! Jay, you knocked this one out of the park! I too love the original film, one of my favorites, the 80’s was a truly awesome decade for films. There have been so many rumors over the years, but Tim Burton said he’d only make it if Michael Keaton agreed to return. Keaton himself confirmed that this is the only film he was interested in making a sequel to the original. I too hope that with much of the original cast returning, it’ll be as entertaining as the original. 🤞🤞 Thanks, Jay, for bringing us all to this fantastic location! Best of Luck in your travels! Great filming location! I love when you put screenshots in bottom right corner, it makes it easy to compare , then and now locations. Your enthusiasm and excitement is so awesome to watch when you do these locations 😁
This was great, the movie making gods were really smiling down on you today my friend. What a stroke of luck to capture all of the Beetlejuice 2 stuff still there while filming the locations for Beetlejuice 1. This was a favorite of mine as well and I've prolly seen it 3 or 4 times but I'm one of these people who doesn't ever watch a movie even a second time once I've seen it so that's pretty good for me. Fried Green Tomatoes is one exception to that and it's because my wife and I drove to Juliet, Ga to eat at the film location restaurant Whistle Stop Cafe and visit lot of the movie sets for that movie. I understand your excitement for visiting movie locations because of that trip, we really enjoyed it and watched that one over and over trying to spot the places we saw while there.
Thanks for checking this out, we went and saw the Broadway version a few weeks at Dr Phillips in Orlando🎉 So fun! This is in my top 5 movies of all time for me😊

Made the trip from Colorado and was there yesterday.Sadly everythings torn down, but i did see remnants of the house still there! The crews were there dismantling it. I flew my drone over it for the shots, and they were not happy with me lol! I dont know why though, the movie is not a secret anymore. I couldnt get myself to leave, that part of Vermont is so dang beautiful!!

I’m not sure how true it is but I saw somewhere that the signs that are up for the school, the real estate office and also the welcome to winter river are the original signs from the first movie, they have been in storage at Warner Brothers

It must have been fun to see a current movie set still being used for the movie. I have been to only one movie set the was still filming and that was Paul Blart Mall Cop. I went almost every night to see it. I was lucky enough to see Kevin James around the set that was cool. It was shot in a working mall. The Burlington Mall in Burlington Mass. Today the Mall has changed a lot. Keep up the great work you and Cris the Girl are doing. GO RED SOX and BRUINS.

You went to late. I took some pictures of inside rewind cafe with the menu still up. They were just starting to take the drapes down from the house as well that day. Was a really cool experience being a fan myself.
It looks like they used a narrow lens for the bridge scenes to make the drop into the river higher. I think that's also why the red bridge looks wider and shorter in real life.
I actually just learned that the original bridge was a one lane wooden bridge, they rebuilt the bridge to a double lane bridge sometime after the movie
@@TampaJay The original red bridge that was used in the first movie is now in back yard near there. Used as a shed now.

I saw Beetlejuice quite a few times at the theatre and one time at the drive in theatre when it first came out.

My parents almost bought the land they built the house in Zephyrhills for Edward Scissorhands. It was a lovely property that was just a blank land with a well. Thats it. Wish they did but it was around 20 years ago, but selling their farm in lithia fell through

The original bridge is at Northeast slopes on Rt 25 a couple miles away in Corinth.

I was up there a yr or so ago in that so called town. The home was gone, it was there only for the movie, the covered bridge also. I parked my car on the bridge the same angle their accident was. The hardware store was there as that was part of the town, those other 2 buildings between the church were not there & can't even remember if the church was even there it was more like a country slum town then anything when I was there. This yr 9 2024 I will be back up there again just to see how all looks today.
I heard most interior shots are on a sound stage in London and the town is only being used for the exteriors.
My childhood fantasy was to someday live in that house ❤❤❤❤
