  • My daughter owned a home and was deployed overseas. Her neighbors, who didn’t know her from Adam, mowed her grass, watered her outdoor plants and literally babysat that property for the 2 years my daughter was away. When they found out she was coming home, they blessed her with a street party, so that she finally knew who her neighbors were. My daughter married the best friend of one of those neighbors just last year. Simply wonderful people.

    • The fact that he goes back to these houses means there’s opportunities. Obviously abandoned, people like Al need to look up wholesale real estate and start buying and selling these houses with other peoples money and making $10,000 a house. That’s what I do for a living and I love it. It’s hard for people like me who aren’t necessarily out in the community like Al is. He has the perfect door open for him he’s just gotta ask 3 simple questions and could easily flip one of those houses in a week and have an extra $10,000+ for being out there doing these yard for free plus whatever he gets from KZhead

She was constantly THERE. When she got sick these neighbors did nothing for her. Complaining about her yard and even when she was hospitalized for a month before she died NOTTA. THE day she died I got a few crews out to do her lawn and pressure wash the outside ECT... (I was dealing with kids and the inside of her home) 2 of these neighbors were bitching about a small part of their lawn was "ruined". And another complaining about the amount of cars (family) in the cove. Seriously?? People SUCK. • Yes, the lawn was a mess again, but as you mowed it, it looked like the lawn itself was in better condition. Where last time there were just clumps of grass, this time it looked like grass was trying to reestablish itself in the earth. Sad to see the neighbors don't care enough about a neighbor to take turns maintaining the property. Glad I don't live on a street like that. When I was hurt in an accident a few years back, I was worried about how I was going to shovel my driveway during the winter. First snow of the year I looked out to see 3 neighbors, all with snowblowers doing my driveway. True, I did theirs often before my injury just because I could, but it was nice to see neighbors looking out for each other.

    @Rags722@Rags7222 жыл бұрын
    • My uncle used to be the guy in his neighborhood to run the snowblower over everyone's sidewalks in the winter. They have lived in the same house for 50 years, so everybody knows them. The neighbors would usually step out and say thank you, and chat a bit. After doing one particular neighbor's sidewalk about five years, and never hearing so much as a "fuck you", he quit blowing their sidewalk. I don't blame him.

    • @@hattiem.7966 While I fully understand that some people don't have the equipment time or desire to mow a neighbor's yard. Many pay a lawn service to do their own and don't want to spend anything to clean up an unkempt lawn in the neighborhood. However, if it got to the point of being a health hazard, I would be calling the town daily to get it taken care of. If I was trying to sell my property, I would be more than willing to pay a service to clean up a neighborhood mess to allow me to get top dollar for my property. I also hate snakes and rats, and these abandoned properties attract vermin which in turn attracts snakes.

    • We lived out in the country when I was growing up. We mowed six acres with a push mower. There was no such thing as a self propelled mower back then. Luckily I had 8 brothers living at home. The first year we didn’t even have a gas lawn mower. If any of the boys got in trouble mom would make them mow the grass as punishment. We only had an old rotary push mower. The person mowing was the engine. Us kids all went together and saved all of our allowances all winter to buy a gas push mower before spring. With that many kids in the house someone was always mowing the grass. I’m not sure if it was lucky or not but I was allergic to the type of grass out there and had to stay in the house with a bandanna around my face when it was mowing time. I’ve mowed other grass since then and very seldom had a reaction. I’m now 64 and still have a tree and grass allergy. I get a shot in the spring and one in the fall. Sure miss that old farm house

  • I wish there was someone like you two years ago where we live. I had a one month baby and a 2 year old at that time and my husband was a truck driver so I was home by myself with the kids all the time. I also had a complicated labor experience with my second son and an issue with my back after a fall while I was 8mo pregnant. Our grass had gotten super tall and thick and we didn’t have the money for a riding lawn mower and my husband was never home to cut the grass, so it got bad. We were getting fined. And every lawn company I called either refused to do it or charged way more than I could afford. So I took our Rinky dink mower and while still healing from giving birth, forced myself to try and mow our lawn. The grass was so thick it ended up breaking the mower. I almost passed out from pain and exhaustion. My neighbors watched the whole time, and they knew full well of my situation. While we are on this, my mother and step father also knew of the situation and lived about 35 minutes away and didn’t offer to help either. They also barely see their grandkids 🤷🏽‍♀️ Where do I sign up to be part of a village? Lol

  • We used to live in a neighborhood where if someone was having health isues, the neighbors would pitch in and help out. There were no complaints because we all knew the situation and were good people. The neighborhoods you go through don't seem to have good neghbors, they would rather just complain. Good on you Al! Bless your heart ❤

  • You would think the neighbors would at least mow the front yard to make their property look better. Whoever owns this house should be very grateful since you are doing it again. Love watching you guys. Keep up the good work!

  • The neighbors should be ashamed they can't get off the couch , and as a community they should be able to pull together to mow these laws that al takes care of!

  • If I was the neighbor I would cut the lawn up to the empty house line everytime I cut mine so it’s not such an eyesore!

  • Wow you not only did a great job the first time. Why do people live like this. House needs painting, gutters need to be cleaned, junk needs to be hauled away. Screens falling off windows. May God bless you and your family for doing this twice. Thanks for your kindness. Best of luck. Your awesome. Your a great example for all of us to follow.

  • Love this. I bet that was disappointing to see that yard so overgrown after all the hard work & time you spent on it the first time. (I really enjoyed that video, btw). Love love love love love that you now have a sponsor!!! Yah! Congrats!! What a perfect sponsor. I also appreciated how tasteful you were with the body areas. Body, butt &... I feel like a lot of men would've gotten too into that last one but you were very tasteful. With a young son, I certainly appreciate the good influence. Lol. Keep up the great videos, great work & again...yah, I'm so proud & happy you got a sponsor & I hope they are really really good to you. I think you'll be a great asset to them. ♥️
