Hey Al get Benadryl capsules with the powder in side. When you get a bee sting open a capsule and put the powder in the palm of your hand, add a little bit of water or spit . Put on sting and over red areas. It neutralizes pain and poison... been using it for years here on the farm.
Where I live in Australia, we've got some bad biting flies I spring (which it is right now). I'm gonna try this. Thank you!

I'm a beekeeper and have a bit of experience with angry bees. Swatting at the bees only makes them more angry. It appears that they are trying to protect the hive. Once a bee stings you there is a pheromone that tells other bees to come and sting you as well. My main method if the bees are angry is to just run out of the area just like you did. Glad you are doing well now. It also may not be a bad idea to have an epipen on hand just in case.
How do I get bees to leave? I have a hive inside my Swamp cooler and they are keeping me from doing much needed work. I’ve tried cinnamon and vinegar around their entrance but they just keep on working.

Depends really. If you are allergic yeah stay away. I live in africa bees everywhere got stung thousands of times not really that big a deal. You can easily just smoke em out.
You need a beekeeper to come and get the bees. You are very brave, what an adventure!
Beekeepers have the proper equipment and know how to deal with honey bees. Better to relocate the bees, we and the world needs them.

If they are honey bees someone will relocate them but if they are yellow jackets they need to be ended. People say “bee stings” when they are wasp stings. Bees are not particularly aggressive.

0 seconds ago I learned on line how to get rid of bees on your own and it works. Get a bucket of sudsy water, half way full. (dish soap) and put it near the nest. Get a board and spread something tasty like cat food, peanut butter, etc... something that will attrack them and flies as well. Put it over the bucket upside down so it is facing the water. When the bees and flies are attracked to it and try to eat it, they end up being drown because of the suds when they are flying up and down. Truly you would not even believe how many you have. I didn't even know I was going to be killing the flies as well.

Just watched this video and as a lover of bees I hoped that you would have contacted a local bee keeper to come out and take those hives away. They are probably massive and full of honey. Bee keepers love to rescue hives so it would be a win win for the bees and the home owner.

Who goes around recording all the "acts of kindness" they show to strangers. Only people who do that are ones doing it for wrong reasons like this channel. The soul purpose of this channel is to make money from ad revenue and from donations. Channels like this one play on peoples emotions to get them to watch and donate. That ends up being 10-20X more money than if he was paid outright to do the same yard work.

Al, if these are honey bees, there are people that will remove them for free. If they are wasps or hornets, brake cleaner or carburetor cleaner spray is your friend. It can hit them and knock them down fast. Go out after dark, and they will be on their nest.

Pest control took my wasp nest out with two puffs of something called DEFENCE DUST POWDER. No one comes out to get wasps it seems just the bees.
It looked like a honey comb so it should be honey bees. :) Wasps make ball shaped "paper" homes.
@@marieldavison5121 These are honey bees. They are also not Africanized so no need to kill them. Just call a local bee keeper. They are always willing to come remove the hive and get free bees.

FYI Al sometimes by contacting a bee keeper - they are willing to come out and see about relocating the bees (for making honey and helping other plants in to grow which what bees do). At least contact one to see what they recommend.

Plain white meat tenderizer make a paste with water & put that one every sting bite. U also need to carry wasp & hornet spray with u. Also Benadryl but it does cause drowsiness. Keep up the great work u do helping people!

To me it looked like the bees were actually living inside the trailer. That would be a nightmare scenario for an exterminator.
I hope someone called a bee keeper to come to the rescue. Up here in South Alabama I have not seen one honey bee this summer. Those need to be relocated before some one starts spraying them. I just love watching these videos. I no longer have a yard as I am in an apartment now but I loved doing yardwork. It is so relaxing. I can watch your videos and just imagine doing yardwork, again, and totally relax.
Keep some vinegar and cotton balls in your truck. When you get stung, wipe it with the vinegar. The pain goes away very quickly. God bless you and all you do.

HORRORS!!! Al - I think you need a professional bee keeper to donate a complete bee keeper's outfit to you, complete with the gloves, head gear, and netting. Then you can complete the yard without worrying about getting stung. While you're mowing, the bee keeper can get the bees out and transport them elsewhere. Just my thoughts after watching this. So VERY glad you aren't allergic!!! I'd have been rushing my husband to the hospital even after using an epipen! And maybe keep some snake venom antidotes on you as well, seeing some of the things you encounter in your travels.

You need to call the city police. Thay should have a list of beekeepers to help. This could be very dangerous for kids and adults.
Hi Al, I seen how you got attacked by those bees, Your lucky your not allergic, the best thing you might want to do would be to call a beekeeper, they will come out and remove them, that's a dangerous situation......someone else might not be so lucky. You can die from bee stings if you're allergic and don't have med's on you. Oh, and I wanted to add to my previous post. I'm the one that told you about AfterBite. Here in Ohio we have bee wranglers that can be hired to come out and remove them safely. They capture the queen and the whole hive follows. It's amazing to watch. That was a nectaring field with all the blooming weeds. I noticed all the butterflies and wondered if you would encounter bees or wasps or hornets. So sorry this happened to you! I know how painful it can be. You did your best as always, but that was just too dangerous!!

Yikes!! Yeah, they're gonna have to spray that nest before you or anyone else can continue. Last time I got swarmed by bees was when I stepped on an undergound nest. Had to dive into a nearby lake and swim under water to escape them!

Hey Al. Sorry about the bees. Bees can be attracted to bright colors (think flowers) and also dark colors such as red or black. Try wearing lighter or pale colors. White is a good choice (think beekeeper's outfit). Also, you might keep some cans of bee and wasp killer with you to ward them off. Noises, such as a mower, can also set them off. Nasty little critters. Good luck.

I just advised Al of his color choice. When out anywhere, u can be attacked. My friend and I were out shopping on our lunch break and one very large bee attacked her. This bee refused to give up! It followed her into a store where she hid underneath a dress rack. It found her! She was wearing burnt orange and the bee thought she was a sun flower 🌻

RAID makes a pretty good insecticide spray that puts a out spray fog that sprays out a good distance. Just direct the spray towards a nest and it disperses outward to cover a large area. One or two cans might could knock the bees down to reasonable level that you could finish a job.
Al, please go to the h ardware store and buy some 20 foot hornet spray. If that had happen to a child or someone severely allergic, they would be dead. If they are honeybees, there are bee rescue organizations that you could call to remove the hives. Always carry the spray and Benadryl with you.
Bees are an essential part of our ecosystem- hopefully they called a bee keeper to remove the bees. We need bees but in a safe place where they can’t get hurt or humans. Glad you’re ok though Al. Bees won this one.
I bet you could come back early in the morning when it's cooler outside and the bees aren't as active.

Yeah I had some holes in my front yard I couldn't figure out what they were until I ran over them with my mower and a wasp stung me in the stomach. Luckily through my shirt so I didn't get the full on sting. Still hurt though. Not fun.
Many years ago, when I still lived with my dad, I was cutting the grass. Little did I know there was a hornet's nest in one of the plants. A hornet got angry at the sound of the mower, flew into my shirt, and stung me right in the sternum. I had never felt pain like that before. I was cursing up a storm for a good 10 minutes.
Vacuum cleaner with the hose in the hole works amazing for yellow jackets. Leave it running, and follow it up with some soapy water down the hole, and in your shop vac.
Boy this was really tall and very thick. Knew you would do well with it. Way to go young man❤🌺
