  • In the aftermath of the cinematic debacle of "Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scarg Giver," one cannot help but connect its inherent failures to the broader themes of cultural degradation in the West. This film is rightly criticized for its lack of originality, excessive reliance on clichés, and overall tedium, but it is symptomatic of a creative industry that has lost its way, succumbing to the same demoralization process that affects modern American society. Filmmakers should aim to create works that challenge the status quo, provoke discussion, and encourage resilience against the erosion of cultural and moral standards. This is not just about making 'better movies'; it's about recognizing the role of art and entertainment in shaping, reflecting, and potentially healing our culture.

  • Zack Syders best 3 films are his first 3 movies, where he was just a director and a director only. His worst movies are the ones he produces, writes AND does cinematograph on (sucker punch, army of the dead, rebel moon) The thing to take away from this is that Zack works best when he’s collaborating with other talented people and he has a producer above him to push back on his ideas.
