  • Whether you think he’s the greatest or not, the thing that’s always set Lebron apart from MJ and Kobe is that he’s always been the guy. He didn’t get cut from the varsity, he didn’t barely play as a rookie. He’s been the best player and the go-to player from the beginning of his organized basketball career. Even in year 20 when he wanted to pass the torch to AD, he still has to be the guy.

    • Agree with this 100% and I’d take it a step further to his life off the court. The man has had the spotlight on him since he was 18 years old and he has NEVER slipped up. No scandals or legal issues. Amazing father and husband. He’s been a role model to me personally and millions of other for most of my life and he’s only a few years older than me. I will never understand the hate for this man. He’s the pinnacle of athleticism, what it means to be an athlete, and is a genuinely good person.

    • Bruh what are u talking about. Yes Lebron has had the spotlight on him his entire career, but Jordan was dropping 40 in high school, and was only cut once in his sophmore year before everyone realized how good he was. He was NCAA player of the year and won the tournament in his three years in college. MJ had arguable the greatest rookie season in NBA history averaging 28 points on 38 minutes per game. So respect to LeBron but lets not act like Jordan was not doing everything Bron did but better. He was also easily the best player on a bulls team that was taking the year prior and brought them to the playoffs without any roster changes.

And he totally Shied away from the challenge. It might’ve sounded like he was talking to the entire team but he was actually challenging Ariza to match his intensity. Before the game the parents were making comments like “those boys from the Midwest only play against big slow guys or small guys. • I watched him in a hs game against Sebastian Telfair, and he was easily the best and most complete player I have seen while in hs. At the time, he was only a junior. Probably the only junior who was NBA ready and could have gone straight to the league a year early. In this game against Trevor Ariza, he was like a man among boys. It literally looked like a professional playing against amateurs. Somewhat like when the Dream Team dominated in the 1992 Olympics.
