Before you tear the door all apart try lubing the weatherstripping the glass tracks in.

did someone miss something in editing? You removed the door panel, and then next thing we know you've disconnected the window from the regulator without showing why or where? The window is taped, but none of that was explained.

In my case. All my 4 windows squeek. However I know it's because of the black cover or seal that meets the window that prevents crud from passing through. Is there a lubricant to add to this cover or do I have to just replace it ?

I would recommend washing felts with water first. I used to do this after winter, and it helped immensely. I would not recommend using any oils (dirt sticks to oil, and oil gets tacky).
I suspect this might be my actual problem because some soda got splashed on my window a few months ago . Thanks for the tip.

Having the same issue since I purchased a new Subaru. Just the front windows when it’s wet.
Very reason they charge so much which Is not necessary to take the door panel off. Just lube the outside rubber seal and your done
The problem does not always reside in the rubber seals, well they are the most common denominator due to the rubber being dry or getting old, the internal motor gears, and every pivot point for the arms, and all of the window guide tracks

As of today my window on the driver side my widow was making some noise going down and not wanting to go back up
Taking off the door panel / card is crazy. Normally there is need to do this. Spray some specialised car window lube in the channels and keep raising and lowering the window and applying more spray if required. That normally fixes it.

And that would be $1000 😂 no need to do all that bro you could’ve easily use some type of silicone window base / lubricant on the windows.
Keep a dent puller suction cup on hand. They work great for holding your window in place. I wouldn’t trust the masking tape.

Throw some silicone in the weather-strip first liquid type not the one you glue stuff with, he even points to the place of application i speak of at 6:36 . Also another note when you are doing this job why not replace the window regulator, electric motor and the whole system while you have it all out anyway? i've done too much half assed jobs in my day on my cars and sometimes i wish i just replace stuff while i'm at it, instead of comming back, 3-9 months later and do the stuff all over again.
It sounds like something in the door never did it until day
