Where are. Who are. What are...#TheWatchers will be in theaters this June.
www.areyouwatching.us/ #AreYouWatching
From producer M. Night Shyamalan comes “The Watchers,” written for the screen and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan and based on the novel by A.M. Shine. The film follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.
You can’t see them, but they see everything.
“The Watchers” stars Dakota Fanning (“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” “Ocean’s Eight”), Georgina Campbell (“Barbarian,” “Suspicion”), Oliver Finnegan (“Creeped Out,” “Outlander”) and Olwen Fouere (“The Northman,” “The Tourist”). The film is produced by M. Night Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan and Nimitt Mankad. The executive producers are Jo Homewood and Stephen Dembitzer.
Joining writer/director Shyamalan behind-the-camera are director of photography Eli Arenson (“Lamb,” “Hospitality”), production designer Ferdia Murphy (“Lola,” “Finding You”), editor Job ter Burg (“Benedetta,” “Elle”) and costume design by Frank Gallacher (“Sebastian,” “Aftersun”). The music is by Abel Korzeniowski (“Till,” “The Nun”).
New Line Cinema presents “The Watchers,” set to open in theaters internationally beginning 12 June 2024 and in North America on June 14, 2024; it will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.

    • Movies are more than just a twist or a reveal. The characters need to discover things and evolve regardless of whether the audience knows what is coming. The characters in Abigail don't know she is a vampire at first. Their ignorance of that fact requires suspense until they find out the truth.

  • Looks like the movie's taking inspiration based off the eerie phenomenon of the unsolved missing 411 cases. Always creeped me out hearing about the cases of people suddenly vanishing in the forest alone leaving no trail or clues of how they disappeared. What's even more chilling is the fact that alot of those cases have way too many similarities not to be connected somehow but they never could be explained.

  • It's an interesting premise, but knowing Shyamalan the reveal is bound to be immensely disappointing. If there was any question whether it would be actually scary, well, even the trailer is festooned with bad jumpscares. My hopes are not high for this one.

  • Don't let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon.

    • I have been in the music industry for over 10 years. A lot of these people worship the devil and do Satanic rituals on children. When I started exposing the industry for what it was, everyone in the industry turned against me and mocked me and even threatened my life. I received multimillion dollar contracts that I turned down because I was asked not to speak about God or the truth. In the end, God allowed me to have multiple number one billboard charting records, speaking the truth without any deals, only the Holy Spirit! Realising that the devil was real, made me turn to Jesus, even though I was born Jewish. Giving my life to God was the best decision I've ever made. I stand with Ryan and I pray a hedge of protection over him as he exposes the darkness in Jesus name!❤😢

    • I was thinking aliens too. Until I paused the video where the radio starts changing channel in her car when it starts to break down. I felt it was aliens because her tech went down. Her phone and the car radio. There are symbols that change on the radio's dial. They first appear alien, but when I paused it and carefully looked, they are rune symbols, and that is a huge clue right there. So it wouldn't be aliens and something to do with ancient bird people/creatures? Or, maybe actual watchers like angels that always were watching us from the skies, and now they have maybe fallen and now watch us in cages? The bird is also a hint. I always pause M. Night's trailers as he put subliminal images/messages. He does this in the TRAP trailer like I never seen before.. That trailer freaked me out last night when I paused it at 2:23-2:24. It shows a man in blue holding up a pair of scissors. And another man holding him back. It superimposes on Arnett's face. In that one second it flashes 3 subliminal images that you only truly see when paused. I have never seen anything like that before in any trailer as I always pause them. Then, the 3rd image shows an old woman looking in and she is directly between Arnott's face, dead centre in the middle. I believe she is Arnott's mother or the butcher killer's mother who knows he will be there as she anxiously looks in the Lady Raven concert from outside with arms folded in fear. There are other scenes I paused it and one shows multiple people will evil looks on their faces between the huge crowd that looks down right at Arnott's face as he looks up to see the police take someone they find suspicious away. They have this ghastly look on their faces. And in the scene in the where he is walking thru the corridors of the stadium. It cuts very quickly and shows a distressed lady behind him and he has a angry look on his face. It's all very quick and you have to pause it. I haven't paused the rest of this trailer to spot more. Night puts lots of subliminal messages in his films like Stanley Kubrick. Not to say others don't. No one does it like Night.

I hope that they don't change the story too much, and judging from the trailer, it would seem they have not (aside from the fact that they do not go down into one of the holes in the book; what reason do they have in the movie!?). I can't believe the showed like a second worth of a scene that is kind of towards the ending... but at least nothing that spoils the twist ending
