I feel bad for her Adele that she let him in her life. He was a raging drug addict and he was throwing out some subtle hints that he wanted her situation. He's gay and he likes her bf, he was broke but always wanted to get high and Adele was rich and he loved that lifestyle, and he made it very clear that he would choose money over his friends with his actions.

I normally would be pissed at last minute twists that didn’t earn the surprise ending but this twist is so simultaneously insane and original (but also dumb) that I’m almost impressed. Cheers to the filmmakers who managed the impossible: they’re both genius and brain-dead at the same time.

If anything we know that if Adam can keep safe from Rob killing him he has a father and David to help him. Louise should have prioritized before getting so deep. Having someone who understands your deepest dark side is tempting but she should have researched support groups so she could belong to positive people with the gift instead of being easily manipulated by Rob. Now it will take David learning about the power and keeping it from Rob because he will most likely kill David this time around if he leaves or finds new love but i think he will be too exhausted to be open to new love. He will more likely have to escape that psycho Rob

I didn’t watch the show but I have read the book so I answer. At first, David did realise changes in his gf n so their marriage fall apart. That is why rob befriended Louis this time so that he can understand her behaviour characteristics better than David. So this time, David will never realise he didn’t marry Louis but Rob again. The book was so good. My best psychological thriller till this date.

Tha title initially intrigued me to watch but I was tempted to leave because there was nothing showing me "being married to a man for 10 yrs" but as the story was unfolding I couldn't turn away lol. WOW...what a crazy ending. Poor kid lost his mom and no one will ever believe him once he truly figures it out

If you watched the series it was pretty obvious that Adel only gave Louise the diary for her to be able to astral travel. So you definitely knew she was up to something and could figure out that she were going to switch with Louise. But I did not see the big twist coming ....................😮😱😭 But after watching this recap when you notice Adele's drug use I should have known. Adel were never really a drug user. She only smoke pot with Rob.

I absolutely loved this miniseries! I usually can guess a twist bout 90% of the time, and the rest I can usually get pretty close. But this one threw me off so good- off the rails in a completely crazy direction I couldn't even imagine! I loved it!

We don't know, but it's clearly a possibility that Rob wanted to have a son not just for "parental purposes" but to raise that individual as a better, wealthy version of himself
I guess many people didn't anticipate this plot twist, I understood the second they showed out of body experiences, the fact that Rob said he wanted to know what being rich and beautiful like Adele felt like, that was hint enough.
