Parents who complain about kids "stealing" food is an instant RED FLAG.
I keep seeing this. I get what you're saying in this context, but I can't agree with the statement. I have three boys. They've refused to eat dinner because they didn't like it and tried to sneak something they do like later that night. We've grounded them for sneaking out food in that case. Obviously, nothing similar to that situation, but the point remains, if I told a friend my son was stealing food, I'd mean he was skipping his healthy dinner to eat junk from the pantry without our permission.
@masterofdiamonds63 True - but you said "sneaking" food and I suspect you'd be pretty likely to say that rather than "stealing" every time. Of course there are categories of food that are off limits at certain times - like you said, junk food when a meal is being prepared, or like in my house I have a designated DO NOT USE, INGREDIENTS FOR MY PLANNED DINNERS because I don't want to go to make dinner and be missing a crucial ingredient because someone used it lol. But stealing....
Yeah, usually means they are being starved
Cough 8 passengers cough
@@masterofdiamonds63 sneaking food is totally different than stealing. If my kids sneaked food to eat I would say so. I wouldn’t use the term stealing.

The cops halting the garbage truck & seizing all the garbage , before it goes to the landfill: 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Fr. I was surprised, as someone not aware of detective work, at how in depth and smart this was.
It's astounding how much manpower actually goes into missing persons and especially homicide investigations. And not to make it "political," but this is why hating cops is so ignorant.
I didn't know they did this. Very smart move. That takes some serious resources, though. I can't imagine how much an investigation like this costs. From the canvasing, to the interrogations, examining phone records, numerous lab tests, missing persons searches, combing through trash, and locating and identifying remains using specialty equipment and expensive to train animals, it has to easily cost several million dollars if not tens of millions. EDIT: Apparently the University of Iowa has estimated the cost of murder at $17.25M. However, that's the cost "to society" and includes more than just the cost of bringing the offender to justice.
Why do they keep letting criminals out to do more crimes especially now with people of color just because they think somehow its racist to put criminals who are of color in jail like that one guy within 24 hours he killed a black child of 11 years and stabbed his pregnant mother ? I know what happened in times past is horrible but allowing criminals out today because of that and that some how that makes us for the past or punishing regular whites today for the crimes of the past. Can't people ee theres evil in all races and the people today arent the slaves of the past the are free and able to do whatever they want.
There were a lot of letters of the Alphabet involved from day one, including the FBI, and it seems they worked well together. But I was impressed with the garbage halting right away, that probably was all on their own on first response.

Children in your home can't STEAL food. That food belongs to them!!!
if they aren't allowed to have the food, then they are.
@@shioq. The only reason a child should ever not be allowed to have food is if they have an allergy to it, or diabetes/a medical condition they're too young to understand and would eat something they shouldn't. Withholding food from your children is despicable. There's never a good reason. Never. Hence @loriannalamuse9089's comment, that children in your home can't steal food. It belongs to them. Yes, it does, if you're a good parent. It absolutely does.
@@shioq. simple things such as snacks and sweets could be called ‘off limits’ or considered stealing but standard food such as bread, lunch meats or any food that they could make themselves if they are hungry IS NOT STEALING. If you are buying actual FOOD for your home, your children should be allowed to eat whenever they are hungry. There is no such thing as stealing FOOD from your own kitchen in the home you live in.
Agreed. Even if they're just eating too much and it's a health problem it's your job to actually parent and not just police rules on them. Help them understand why they feel the need to eat so much (assuming they're actually eating enough) and find positive ways to change that. Simply throwing a rulebook at them makes it them vs. you like school does and ruins relationships.

Her attorney wanted a reduced sentence for her military service?!! She stood watch!! She served by walking around base aimlessly. She killed her child, idgaf about her “service”.
Her military service is irrelevant
I don’t care if she rescued the president, No national service or anything excuses that she let her child die when she could have given her away to be cared for properly. She wasn’t willing to protect and serve for the one person she should care about most. Its their job, but not sure how some Attorneys can keep a straight face while making arguments!
If anything one would think that would make it WORSE, even in the military, starvation like that is NOT acceptable form of punishment for grown adults that commit war crimes, let alone a damn child
Exactly 💯 She seemed and looked brain-dead. Strange
Though I don't disagree with your sentiment, you don't understand what "standing watch" means. I'm a Navy vet. Standing watch in the military simply means doing your job. For example, it if you're an air traffic controller, then performing those duties is "standing watch." If you're a Aviation Anti-Submarine Warfare Operator, then standing watch would be performing those duties. Standing watch doesn't mean just aimlessly walking around base. If she performed well "standing watch" or "during watch," that just means that she was good, punctual, reliable and dependable at performing her job, whatever that job may have been.
The nerve of the lawyer to ask for a reduction in sentence due to her military background. Doesn't matter who you are or what you did as a career, a crime like this deserves every single second of justice. My heart hurts for this child

She was trying to start a new life with a guy she liked. It wasn’t even a serious relationship. She was just crazy and delusional
Yep. Classic motive. She hated and resented her daughter and likely obsessively fantasized about "starting over"; given how she behaved on camera, she was dissociating. If that was common for her, she picked neglect as her way of killing her daughter since it was easy for her to "flip a switch" and turn off all emotion. So it was easy for her to lock her kid away and think about something else. Smh what a disturbed human.

Something tells me she only wanted to call the police to report her daughter missing. Yet, doesn't expect the police to do a full-on investigation on her.
I honestly believe that she thought because of her being in uniform they were automatically believe her.
These monsters can't comprehend that other people care and have empathy, because they themselves do not. They expect a missing child to just remain missing and life to go on as normal. The scariest thing is that these soulless meatbags pass for human beings - they live amongst us, work with us, even share our homes with us.
Yea I dont know what the heck she thought they were going to do.
She’s obviously mentally ill. Not an excuse in any way but the explanation.
Whats even more sickening is that she probably didn't expect them to do a full investigation on her daughter for the sole fact that in her eyes, her life was not important seeing her as nothing but a burden. In her mind, she probably thought that no one would care for her in her absence because she herself cold-heartedly never did.
Thia is one of the saddest cases I've heard in a long time. I cant imagine how that little girl suffered in her short life. God bless and keep her. 😢
I’m glad women detectives interviewed her. A mother’s intuition can see through all BS!
Her donating her poor baby’s clothes while the cops find key evidence to lock her away on Veteran’s Day has to be some form of divine justice.
God has a sense of humor
I can't help but wonder what was going through her mind at that point. Was she donating everything just to get rid of it? Was she donating it thinking about less fortunate kids who will be able to have the clothes/toys? Either way, fucked up thing to do. Every single person in Taylor’s life failed her. She clearly went missing long before it was reported. No eyes were put on this child for months for people to notice she was gone. That’s a damn shame.
Yep. My mother hears from me and my son Daily, multiple times. My Dad calls every other day to check on me and my son and always request to Facetime because he loves his Grandchild. There is No WAY my family could go 2 days, heck Barely a Day of not hearing/speaking with my child or actually seeing him.

Children are not known to “steal”. For a child to “steal” food from their own home, that means the child would have been starving. That’s so upsetting.
Not true well at least most of the time. “Stealing” is meaning they ate something that was off limits. Parents are allowed to have a treat for themselves. Kids don’t get to have their treats and your treats. That’s how you have kids to grow up that don’t understand boundaries and won’t respect you. We don’t need anymore entitled people. This is obviously not the case.
@@bewareofsasquatchhope you’re not a parent
@bewareofsasquatch thank you!!! Anytime someone takes something they have been told not to is stealing in most cases..this here is different she stole some food not candy that poor child man
@@foxxthegreat2401 exactly. Like I don’t want people to think when a parent says their child “stole” food doesn’t mean they’re starving. But this isn’t the case though. The girl was starving. She an awful woman. It’s really sad that they don’t know how she died, how long she was dead for and that they only found 10% of her and her body all over the place.
@@TheReaper42069 I don’t think missed what I’m trying to say. What I’m saying isn’t dangerous to a chill and it would cause emotional damage. Kids need to know what’s theirs and what not. If you given them everything than they will expect that’s how the world is. Look how kids turnout to be spoil brats and entitled adults. “Off limits” means “off limits”. A parent should be allowed to have somethings for themselves. You’re probably the type that caves in when a kid cries when they want a toy or want to eat out. You’re acting like I’m punishing them. I’m saying you need to teach them about boundaries. As long as their is a bunch of food for them to eat I don’t see the problem. This case when she said “steal” she was talking about all the food. That’s f**ked up. She wasn’t teach the daughter “no means no” or “off limits” or “this one is for me”. She was starving the poor girl.
When I’m out and about, I’m gonna be more aware when I see kids or a child. If something doesn’t seem right or look right I’m gonna say something or do something. This little girl could’ve been saved. I hate crying. And the sad part is we all know this is going to happen again somewhere if not right now. hopefully we can prevent things like this. If a child ever waved at me and looked alone,I am going to ask questions and make sure that child is OK
Kudos to the investigative team for a great work done!
She treated that little girl so horrible but she still made her mom an artistic thank you card, that’s heart breaking. She would have turned into such a good person if just given a chance.
It’s so upsetting to be honest, since she her “mother” was the only thing in her short life

Your kids don’t steal food, they eat when they’re HUNGRY!! Some eat a little and some eat a lot. My 10 month old is a foodie and looks forward to his breakfast, lunch and dinner, even if that means eating his food and sharing mine. Parents like this make me sick to my core. 😢

Agreed, however dad doesn’t get a pass. First of all, if he worked with her as a unit coparenting this wouldn’t have happened. Secondly, if he saw HIS child looking unhealthy he should have taken her to the hospital THAT DAY! The grandparents don’t get a pass either, and instead of waving the neighbor should have called the cops. Taylor suffered a horrific and lonely death because ALL of the adults in her life failed her.

I moved away from my childhood home recently, but when I lived with my dad at 25 and I left for work before him in the morning, he always checked if my car was gone when he woke up to make sure I was up and made it to work.
