Bought a mint condition s4 pajero for what would have been the cost of a high ks landcruiser from the mid 00s. Awesome car.

Pajero is the most underrated fourbie in Australia. I had my little shorty in some unreal spots. Keep up the wicked content. Love it that you are taking the piss out of Shauno and Jock lol

Shows how important momentum and horsepower are to 4wding. I always bought diesels when I was younger because everyone said they are better for offroad but now I'm alot more experienced big petrol motors are definitely the way to go in muddy/sandy conditions and they are just as if not more reliable than their diesel counterparts
It’s so funny watching this and knowing exactly where the boys are Glad the boys managed to get the cars out and even just a little bit of mud on them

i regret getting rid of my series 2 shorty every day! so so underrated! Paj's are one of the best 4x4's around!
Good one boys, I remember the day I worked out my 07 Pajero has better rut clearance then a Patrol or Cruiser running 35"s 🤣 Pajero's love sliding along deep ruts on the bash plates and dropping the wheels into the ruts. Whenever I see a diff drag mark, I know im good to go 👍😂

We travel South Africa in 2 pajeros, one of , if not the most underrated 4x4’s out there , we give the Toyota boys a run for their money ! Keep up the great content guys 💪🏽always hood to see pajeros out on the trails !
Hi! Ive seen some of your branding around so was cool to see you here. Im thinking of buying a 96 pajero long wheel base. Many people advise against long wheel base, but I'm not convinced the Pajeros battle. Do you have any advice? It will be my first 4x4 which I'm buying to just do off roading as a hobby

There is a reason why the Pajero won the Paris Dakar for quite a few years in a row, they were built for it. I still have my 1993 3500i LWB with more than 350000kms on the clock, and have up to date lost count of how many nissans, land rovers and Prados I have had to pull out of the bogs.
Up the Paj. Love my Pajero, they are a weapon and very under rated.

Pretty good job! Is it a stock Pajero with a rear difflocker? And stock suspension? Simply looks best in standard mode
I have 1996 Pajero GLS.SuperSelect box,rear locker,31 inch tyres and it goes everywhere .
Haven't lived in Victoria for many years but I always thought you guys were around St Andrews. My old man still lives there, beautiful part of Australia. Don't think I have heard anyone say"grouse" since I lived there.
I’ve got a paj sport goes absolutly everywhere!
IFS IRS superior in some instances, no diffs or hangers in the way.
That Pajero has solid rear tho
@Peter why its better there? In sand dynes cars bottom hits the dyne easyer when the suspension compress. I think deep snow is the plase where IFS is good
IFS breaks easier and doesnt articulate well at all but put lockers in and it works alright. Stuff like mud and sand its fine
That diesel is heavy asf with that solid axle...

Hi mate. I got the same type of pajero but mine is a 2.8 diesel. Where do you get parts for your pajero. Things like door cards for the manual crank windows, interior lights all three and the grey plastic trims covering the A pillars behind the front glass, as well as the door handles (for opening doors from outside in chrome) and other trims like the dashboard air vents .
Love my Paj and Chally. Bloody Awesome 😍

There are actually TWO cars that are underrated. The Pajero and the Suzuki Jimny. I have a 2019 Pajero Sport and it’s brilliant.
But Pajero Sports aren't Pajeros, they're Triton wagons.
@@allaussietraveller9879 in some retrospect your right but built very differently there a pajero sport not just a pajero there similar to the challenger in relation to the pajeros
@@robertsmith7854 size wise similar to a challenger but pretty sure identical driveline to a Triton. Like an evarest is a ranger wagon, a mux is a dmax wagon, the kluger I think is the Hilux wagon and so on.
Got some tracks within my 5kms but I didn't know if we were allowed or not, stuck at what to do hahaha

Miss my old paj, sold it cause I bought a 75 series ute with a tipper. Yet to test the cruiser on a track but I can tell ya the paj was alot better ride with the coil rear and ifs front lol

The fuel pump failed on my Shogun (uk Pajero) so I replaced it with a y61 shorty... Hate to say it but I think the Shogun was equally capable

Gen 3 or 4 in comparison to a gen 2 are horrible

@@allaussietraveller9879 just speaking from my experience, the gen 2’s are the go in my opinion. Traction control and all the extra stuff ruins them, as I said in comparison to a gen 2 they’re horrible. I lived out of my gen 3 for 6 months and it took me to many places and was very capable.
I'm enjoying your videos a lot, but they would be easier to watch if there was some stabilisation as well

Which Paj do you have and is it one of the ones that have to be destroyed due to the faulty airbags?, I want to get a bush bashing Paj and dont want to get one thatll need to be forfieted
nah mate mine 1994 NJ model! they are fine, its the 97+ NLs that are faulty I think, but you'd have to check!
They now have replacement airbags so all good

Measure from ground up to the diff (lowest part of the vehicle) you’ll find out that the patrol has at least 2 inch less clearance than the paj
