Yeah this is why translating language is so complex. Even when there are literal 1:1 word to word translations they don't make much sense when translated or don't have the same impact. I can't speak for Native Japanese speakers on how "House of Boom" sounds to them if there is a 1:1 translation but to an English speaker using a normal noun to describe an ultimate move in a fighting game doesn't have a strong effect. You want a proper noun like House of Boom.

Ok, my friends call me Fortune Incarnate because I play Hero and I'm good at him, and everytime they lose, they blame luck. So I'm kinda glad I have the ability to utilize and interesting and expansive mechanic to beat up my friends, and if they say I got lucky with the resources, they can't complain if they utilize Omega or Battlefield.

On the day the trailer dropped, October 1st, I watched the trailer at least 50 times. I couldn't believe it was real I was in literal shock

They could've made a normal moveset using Minecraft tools, sorta like villager, and most people would likely be satisfied, but they went as far as making a full crafting system. My respects for Mr. Sakurai and his team.
They love minecraft, they wanted to make it special
If it was just the tools that wouldn’t really get the spirit of Minecraft, you’d be taking out half of the freaking game title without crafting.

I love how this character has the simplest design and animation, but also one of the most complex mechanics. He looks like he’ll certainly be interesting to play as and against.
He'll be fun to play with buddies, but I can guarantee you he'll do a lot of spamming and cheesing online. I can already see people sending high-damage opponents off the cliff with minecarts or building blocks obstacles the ledge to stop recoveries.
@@elbuhdai605 In exchange for extremely poor range and lots of preparation require. He would be weak in most maps due to not being able to mine the material needed and nothing to stop people from rushing them down before they finish their preparation
El Buhdai Yeah I think in 2v2 online for example, one person will take on enemies while the other just mines until they have Diamond and start dominating.
I feel like the only reason Sakurai made this video, or included steve in the first place, was to show his awesome minecraft sword/pickaxe, which is a reason I respect.

It's well protected. But with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break his grip on freehold.

Honestly I love how Sakurai cares so much about the people that are playing smash, the details and he put his soul into this. It was thanks to not only Kirby but also the smash series that I discovered that I love video games so much. For me he’s and will always be the best game director. Also the game staff are doing a awesome job here, even with this pandemic, they’re bringing us this particle of happiness. Thank you staff and Sakurai san. 🤧

There’s something oddly satisfying about there being no narration of the captions and just hearing Sakurai’s voice

My excitement for Steve's announcement was huge! By the time he was announced I had almost a year playing minecraft which isn't a lot but I love minecraft and when he was announced for Smash I was just speechless. Such an awesome moment🤩
