  • oh man, I just got a good pair of headphones, what an amazing difference it makes. I can hear so many sounds that I didn't know where there, and I can feel the vibrations of you hitting the power wedge, and the trees falling. It's almost like being right there with you Bjarne. Pretty cool.

  • Yup!...it is the best job in the world!...I had to quit at the ripe old age of 48..my forearms got tendonitis so bad ..I was miserable...I couldn't hold on to my saw without pain..but I have lots of good memories of the helicopter logging days!!..it takes an exceptional specimen of a man to last till retirement age... remember only a few will make it till retirement!! And all the hazards along the way!!!...be vigilant and aware!!

  • only an observaation from watching many of your great videos. but the tip of your bar is almost always higher than your saw as you start your cuts. i don't think its intentional on your part, but the natural balance of the saw related to the lightweight bar. Ive watched time after time as you start your back cut, look around the tree to see where the tip is related to your not and you change the position of saw to better meet your notch. as you start your notch in this video is a example of the veiw that I am seeing from the camera please tell me me if thats from the camera angle and I am wrong. I am from the east coast and don't know squat about the big west coast timber. but i do know the fibers are stronger at a 90 degree angle for your hinge wood. just wondering if there is a reason for this that i am ignorant about. this is not in anyway a critisism, but a question. love your content and will continue to watch your awesome videos regardless Thanks Bjarme. keep up the great work.
