The reshuffling of the furniture gives a breath of fresh air and very welcoming but Natties desk needs to be seen as it’s so stunning, it would look beautiful in the corner on an angle so she is not hidden behind the lounge chair and then you will see how gorgeous the desk is.

Oh, that's a new way to spell her name... Mind you, I'm not saying it is incorrect; but this poor girl's name is spelled so many different ways in the comments, surely most of them must be wrong! Which means most commenters can't give a flying monkey how to spell her name correctly and can't be bothered to somehow find out. (And the same goes for Philip's name, etc.)
The morning walk through the grounds is a new of favorite of mine- spring is in the air! Phillip’s haircut looks great- a perfect length- Annalise has skills 👌🏽Phillip has grown from setting exquisite table themes with his porcelain collection into a wonderful interior decorator/ designer for the chateau. He has a midas touch ✨ It’s entertaining to watch how each person contributes to the Lalande community with their gifts & talents 💙🎉🩷 loving this channel

I’m sorry, but it looks like Nati is hiding behind the sofa. Maybe put the sofa against the side wall and move the small black cabinet to the “back” wall near the curtain and move Nati over. Arrange chairs around the coffee table. In this arrangement it looks like Nati is an afterthought.
This is a good idea!
The bird embroideries are actually Goldwork an embroidery technique using real gold thread. Nowadays we use gold coloured threads but you can still use threads made of real gold but they are expensive. The long pieces of gold that make up the tree branches are “couched” which means the gold threads are laid on top of the fabric then a tiny overstitch holds them in place, sometimes the couching stitch are made using a gold coloured thread or sometimes a coloured thread is used to highlight the couching. Goldwork is a beautiful and very intricate art with many different uses . I’ve been doing it for a few years now but there’s so much to learn I’m still very much a novice.

The high back of the sofa hides the little desk and crowds the piano ...whereas with the two chairs, one could see the desk & piano better.

The red room could be better still. Piano roughly in the spot, it is now, but on a diagonal. to the corner. Area carpet also on the same diagonal. Couch goes opposite the piano, on a diagonal, and the rest to fit around it. Desk goes in original piano position but as well on a diagonal. to the corner. This gives the room some interest. Also putting a slim couch table behind the black sofa will break up the space, as well, and gives opportunity for symmetrical lamps.
And…could her desk then be turned on an angle a little bit? That corner presents as being very…square… That would soften the room too. Anyway, it might be worth a try.
I really like Phillips hair now Anneliese has sorted it-the curls look fab & especially since they’re natural.

The desk is in a weird place and should be on an angle in the corner. I would also turn the sofa and chairs one quarter turn as well so you have more of an open walk way from the door to the desk. The sofa and chairs would face the walls instead of the door and windows.
The tall back of the sofa hides those lovely tables along the walls though.

If I might make a suggestion for the black sofa: paint the trim gold and it will blend in better, even a "brassy" gold would work. At the moment it feels "lost" among luxury.

Change is always refreshing especially when it is a room. I love the fact that Phillip has energy to do these projects late in the evening. The small tuft of hair Annelise cut off the length of Phillip's hair and placed on Lancelot had me rolling with laughter. ❤🐕💇

Liking Philip’s new hair.
Ok. My opinion means nothing in the big scheme of things, but I liked Phillip's first arrangement. The piano and sofa so close together are too visually heavy; the sofa now crowds/hides the desk and piano. I liked the first arrangement also because if you have a recital, the arm chairs could be picked up and moved to face the piano, while as now the sofa is backed to the piano. I liked the corridor the sofa made, as it made the sitting area cozier. Also, I'm an interior designer. I vote Phillip's first arrangement!

You can ⁴ould swap sofas, the charcoal with the one in the next room? China pantry/Natis former office? The patterned one, you reupholstered some time ago, and did some patternmatching, etc. Its maybe not perfect - but perhaps better, than the charcoal😊 And it would not seem so big and heavy in the music room😊 And yes, the bird pictures would probably go nicely, too😁

Yes, now the music room is a sort of dramatic and festive salon and can be changed into a stage within some minutes. 🥰The uniformly black furniture is perfect with the wallpaper and the grand piano. Congratulations, Philip! Monika 🙃

I'm loving the changes for the new "check-in" area. If I may make a suggestion - I love the black sofa, but with all the black pillows it feels way too dark. I would replace them with large pillows covered in a silver/gold/cream fabric to pick up the colors in the curtains and chandelier. That would give it a more luxurious feel. Also, now that it is the welcome area, it would be nice to place a tea/beverage service tray on the sideboard and guest registry book on one of the tables. Keep tweaking, it's going to be great!👋👋👋
