    • @@cjtrules1 can't completely blame the interviewers, most of those press junkets are "ok, you have 5 minutes with them..... the last one is done, your time starts now. GO!" and your boss has given you 4 minutes of questions to read to them. they are always bored in them because they have to answer the same set of questions over and over again just so the interviewer can be on camera with them while being asked. if it was just print and the production companies would give out a list of pre-answered questions, i bet we would be able to get better interviews.

The questions are unique and varied, they're interesting to us and it's obvious they're interesting to your guest too, it's so nice to see the look on their faces when they're getting asked questions other than the usual, "How did you lose so much weight?" "What's your workout routine?" and all the other cliched trash they've been asked a thousand times. Add to that the fact they're put at ease and then broken down with trying to deal with the extreme heat of the wings and we all get to see honest, approachable, open and genuine people instead of the facade they usually are required or forced to put forward. Love your work.

The question that focuses on 20 years ago or the side project they think won't get any attention or the one passion they have outside of the spotlight. The celebs get so used to the press tour and you never focus on the next big thing they are having to promote. When you drop the question that makes them say "man you really do your research" that's always a great moment in these interviews. That's the point when most of them let go of the interview persona and let their real selves out.

  • I think that part of the reason, besides good questions and genuine conversations, why people and celebrities themselves love being on this show is that this is a real bonding experience. This is not a regular interview, they are having meals and just talking about stuff.
