      @coreyboldt9604@coreyboldt96042 жыл бұрын
    • It's a cool idea but I don't think it would work. For most people who do this they probably are able to make it through all 10 wings because it's a build up of heat and they are given just enough time to adjust and prepare from wing to wing. It's also not just about heat but about how it hits and the flavor profiles while moving from one to the next.

Even the Asian Actor who was in Squid game, when he came to the US to do a role in GI Joe, he was shocked that his white co stars wouldn't look him in the eye, and when he visited starbucks white people thought he was fucking Ken Jeong even though he was tall and good looking. Asian stars in Asia get treated way different than Asian American/Canadians here in north America, Asians in NA tend to get stereotyped and typecasted hard in very unflattering roles. Also who the fuck are you to dictate to Asians about their Asian american experience. If you are white if you no place to tell how Asians how they should feel about their experiences, and if you are Asian you either didn't grow up in NA or have some insane internalized racism you need to deal with.

It wasn't until then that I thought Asians were cool for the 1st time in my life. yeah so there were a few years where some movies came out about. Which was pretty much just Ip Man & Rush Hour. Other than roles about martial arts & being an asian punchline (I do love rush hour though but still), there were 0 opportunities. Then the years following, even those roles weren't around. radio silence. In fact, 2008s #oscarsowhite which was about POC representation in media.... had 3 young asian kids come out in overalls & glasses holding notebooks & calculators & made fun of them with asian jokes the entire segment. No one batted an eye. Someone's nickname on love & hip hop was "chink" b/c his eyes were small. This slur was allowed to be used on national TV. Like I said, I saw 0 people who looked like me on my screens until youtube. It wasn't until kevjumba, nigahiga, bubzbeauty, wongfuproductions, & michellephan that I started loving who I was. The reason Asians dominated youtube in the beginning was b/c it gave creative people with no options in mainstream media a way to create content.

  • Sean is underrated as an interviewer. Always gets deep into his research and has definitely caught a few celebs off guard with his questions.

    • There is a channel somewhere that analyzes the great nature of Sean's interviewing skills. Research, inquisitiveness, having an unorthodox "hook" like hot wings to break the guests walls down, etc.

    • So true. Reminds me of when I was venting to a college friend of mine (who's Korean) about how much I sucked at basic math and he was like "same, I hate math". And then I later found out he was like several math levels ahead of me lol
