My nephew happened to be a line chef at a restaurant where Gordon came in to save it for an episode of 24 Hours to Hell and Back. He said that Gordon was very kind to all the employees and patiently gave the line cooks numerous tips and explanations. He told him that he loves teaching younger people about cooking and not to worry that he wouldn’t be screaming at them. He said that was only for TV and he really wants to help them be better chefs. My nephew said he was kind and humble throughout the week of filming and he really respects him even more.

After all, Gordon did go behind Prison Walls to create a Bakery for Inmates to get experience in the food industry. I'm unsure if "Bad Boys Bakery" is still open; I hope it is.

Yeah I was really seriously hoping that all that yelling and screaming and cussing was just for the TV period I mean the names of the shows would kind of scream that. but Oh my goodness I was really hoping so❤ he's so good with his kids in the videos that literally his KZhead channel post. That he and his family post❤ he seems like a really awesome father and all around just a great guy in general. He is definitely playing a part for the shows that he does that are well a certain way

Seriously ? She does almost nothing, put 8 eggs instead of the 6 asked for, not including the first one obviously. And who put egg shell on towels ? Then the next moment she turn her head an put egg mix over the pot.
Just watching this gave me anxiety 😂 I couldn't keep up between trying to watch him, watch Selena and keeping up with the conversation. 😂🤣

Me too! I had to stop and ask "wait, did he want six total or six more", haha. All that filming experience and keeping the pacing going put to good use.

If Selena ever sees this, I don’t intend for this to be nitpicking. I don’t even know why it caught me so much 🥹

This is such a sweet series. And the food looked easy enough for most people not to mention delicious. It kind of seemed rushed more than relaxing but she did so good keeping up while also having conversation. I love how sweet he was with her.
They work so well together bc they both are SO well-traveled and experienced, and I think they seem to really enjoy swapping stories!!! I genuinely love learning how to cook through Selena too!!! Grew up watching her on Disney for so long, she’s only a year or two older than me! ❤❤

I always used to overwork my scrambled eggs with complicated ingredients. I now use Ramsay's technique every time now; keep the eggs simple add everything else afterward.

We can all see that Chef Ramsay not only is hard on what is his, meaning his job, workers and restaurants because he wants to keep being a great chef and also teach the next generations about his hard work and how it restaurants should be done, but here he shows his other side too, he is not just a man that shouts, he is also kind and loving.
Gordon has just very much energy all the time he kinda reminds me of my dad and also he is used to provide food as fast as possible while cooking it also in a good quality that can be stressful and lead to a quick thinking mind, I love how Selena calmed him a little with her calm persona and they both were respectful towards each other, I'm also proud of Gordon for showing interest in other people's opinions and his nice behaviour towarts Selena and proud of selena for taking the step to learn from a pro :) much love

Honestly, after the diet culture and ED culture of the early 00s, it’s so refreshing that a role model like Selena has a cooking show where making and enjoying food (and not even just “healthy” “good” “guilt free” food) is normalised, it sounds like such a weird thing to say when you really think about it but I bet her show has had quite an impact in that space even though that’s probably not what she set out to do with it 👏🏻

Gordon Ramsay is my all time favorite episode of Selena’s “Selena + Chef” show. After watching it on HBO MAX, I bought the episode on KZhead a few weeks ago and I’ve watched it on repeat for days on end. Gordon showed Selena the ropes and (like he did with Sean Evans on Hot Ones when Sean cooked scrambled eggs for Gordon after the Hot Ones gauntlet) he showed great patience with her when she made the scrambled eggs. Such a wholesome collaboration 😇
